There aren't status bars for the Halloween badges. I would imagine that this is because you would be stuck with them if you don't finish before the event is over.
To find out how many witches, zombies, etc you need to defeat, here is a good badge guide

Thank you, that was a good page. No way to tell how far along though as far as I can tell. I have a feeling that these badges drop pretty close together

Does anyone know if there might be a badge they are not telling us about? Like a badge for getting so many treats. I could see them doing this, rewarding those that trick or treat so much that they get 1000 treats or so.

So it's not possible to add a progress bar, then remove it after the event?
Oh well, I guess I'll just continue to make hash marks on paper for each enemy type.

I had the same thought.
I was also kind of hoping there was a badge for getting all of the other badges, but there doesn't seem to be.
Still, I had a blast last night with the Halloween event.
For a while I just ran around clicking doors and seeing what popped out. After a bit, I got a little more organised and joined up with a great Team and started seriously going after the badges.
I thoroughly enjoyed it (even though I played longer than I had intended to), and I will probably do it again tonight with one of my alts.
Heck, I might even dust of Blurg and let him give it a go.

Of course, if there is a as of yet unknown badge, there could be a bagde for getting all of the badges, and we just haven't seen it yet.
I like the whole event, for the most part. But what I can't figure out is why the halloween badges are listed first in your list there. The badges otherwise seemed to be listed most general to most specific before and I would imagine that these are hyperspecific, being restricted to baddies that are seldom around. Instead I'm going to have to scroll past them every time to get to something else. What's up with that? (Maybe their position on the list will change after the event. Search me.)

You have to scroll past 6 badges??? OH THE HUMANITY!!!!
Maybe we should send someone over to your home, to hook up a catheder, install a fridge right next to your chair, and hire someone to do all your grocery shopping for you, so that you will never have a reason to leave the position you are in right now. Once a month we'll make sure someone comes over and hoses you down, too, so that the stench doesnt buildup too bad.

Actually, this kind of bothers me too...not now, but a few months from now, whenever I look at someone's badge list, the novelty badges will be first...and by then the novelty will have worn off.

You know, instead of giving a willfully petulant answer to what's actually a reasonable question you could engage your brain and think about it a bit more.
Now, I've no problem with scrolling past the new badges, but I DO think they're in the wrong place.
At the very least they should go either above or below all the other 'Defeat' badges, since that's what they are - but better yet, a new badge section should be opened up - label it 'Event' and have all event-based badges go into that specific section - imo a far tidier and more fulfilling solution.
It seems the Halloween Special has been a huge succes, and I love it too. Unlike the Rularuu invasion, this event had a high enjoyment factor and a reasonable risk : reward ratio.
Call me a power gamer, but I think the last factor is very important. This event could be entirely ignored if you wanted to (just docn't knock on any doors and avoid the twelve-meter pumpkin men), but still you saw loads of people working at it. If the witches had perma-mezzed you, I don't think you'd have seen this at all!
Seems well over half the server populations were doing something related to the event - amazing!
Besides, the witches were the cutest ever!

I'm going to be very put out if those ladies don't get their own little space in the Hollows to witch out in. Those fuddy old Thorns fellas could do with an estrogen injection. Too much time spent poring over necromancy sites in their mothers' basements.
Then are we to assume that this event will not repeat next year?
I personally wouldn't mind a bar sticking around, would be less work I would have to do the following year if the same event was held.

I would certainly hope the Witches get to re-appear as permanent villains in an up comming Issue ( maybe #3 or #4 ) "The Coven" seems like an ideal villain group and gives the game a second female baddy group to fight and of course the Streng would be their minions/servants as they were the only two mobs created just for the Halloween event. Seems a waste to go to the trouble of creating them and then only using them one weekend.
oh man, too much fun to care bout the progress bars!
If the new mobs arent going to be back next Halloween, I agree they really need to to have their own lil graveplot somewhere around in Paragon.

I want my (hypothetical) 'Sleepy Hollow' badge for defeating Strengs!
Is there any easy way to tell how far along you are to recieving a particular halloween badge? I don't see any progress bar for my kills under badges and I'm not sure how many kills I've made so far.
