The Eleusis neighborhood in Talos Island ( N of the Dark Astoria gate) is a great hunting ground for eminators as well.

Quote:Ran it with my kat/SR at +2/x6/bosses/no AVs when i16 launched, to test her capabilities and see how the new system looked and it was very challenging. Definitely had to use green inspirations (no Accolades as she doesn't have Magus) since I haven't gotten the Aid Self route on her (only time I've kinda regretted that decision since I don't solo AVs).Uh... that sounds painful.
Reminds me of the WMD challenge, which was to run Gaussian's arc on invincible (+2x1), no temps, no inspirations, no deaths. Doable, but tougher than it may sound on the surface. Probably suicide on +2x8, but there has to be someone out there that can do it.
(Edit: Wait, no, it wasn't even invincible, because then Sefu whathisface spawned as an AV, so it was the next difficulty down, which today is +1x2. I've done the whole thing on invincible EXCEPT for him, though.)
Sefu was long and boring but not that difficult (yet close, of course)since you have retreat routes in that mission, giving you some measure of breathing room.
Not sure if Aidself would have been useful given how the 3 deaths happened (trying to pull and getting 2 groups in the face with a vanguard wizard getting lucky) but you never know.
Can't imagine how it'd be at x8, except super painful. -
suhweet news. Wasn't bad to start with, but I'll live with that change
Elm/EA/Mako here (can't resist trowing sharks) -
thanks for keeping on compiling data, Archie.
I haven't exactly noted what I did get last night on my fire/ice tank on the one run I made (+0/x6 demons) but I got 12 recipes (an armag triple and then commons, with 1 unco most likely) and 40 some salvage (2 rares) which is pretty much what I was getting when I was doing runs seriously (so pre AE)
I'll try to remeber to dl Dropstats for future runs.
Thanks to the Devs for fixing that problem. -
Congratulations to all the latest additions to the Club.
Eagerly awaiting my 666th badge to see if hell breaks loose (or rikti win) -
Planning to roll:
- Shield Armor/Electric Melee (waited for Elec to be ported to have a Shield Tank gogo tp)
- Electric Armor/Battle Axe (figure the KD will help giving the toon breathing room) -
Hey fellow CoXers,
Before the migration, I remember someone had on their signature links to CoH on a budget computer configurations (through newegg possibly). Problem is, I can't find that info on the new forums and I have a friend that could use it (outdated config really means outdated at some point it seems)
Any help in the matter is appreciated and sorry if it's in the wrong section of the forums.
Fight the good fight (whichever side you are) -
I don't think it's ever happened to this day in CoH (giving rewards again)
Would be very nice for everyone that attempted and succeeded at the task though.
Guess I'll wait before I make my attempt at this one then. -
Well, looks like it'll only be Popular and Leader for my badge toon now (and DJ and associated Accolades of course).
All badges look attainable now in my opinion, yet still need some grinding (keeping their epic feel, instead of the epic fail)
Thanks devs! -
You can get auto award on Multidimensional by ouro'ing to Tina's mish, entering and exiting 15 secs or so after. Quit TF and you'll get the badge (that's how I got the badge on a couple of toons that would have abbhorred Tina)

They put a "Zone Instructor" in all the hazard zones in i12 iirc. That way you know what to expect and can't [censored] and moan when you get punked in zones where spawns are designed for 6 man lvl 25 (fake example) Not that it detracts players from doing so of course

Day Jobs sure put a hold onto my Heal Badging (got the first 4 solo - and to others on my server it seems as farms have pretty much stopped being run on Freedom, at least openly). Still got the last 2 to go but I'll give em a whirl someday soon
Then, it'll be last 2 infl and last Pillbox. Oh the pain! -
*shakes Tech Banded fist*
I'll get you Turg, one day, I'll get you.
Grats on the badge, good man -
What? FA can't tank ITF?
Who the hell lied to me? -
I killed all the tankers on my server to be the only one left standing.
Wait... this was a serious thread? -
Kat/SR traveless on Freedom.
It's an older toon so I play her a bit less but she's oodles of fun.
As someone said previously: all powers are nice to have but elude can be dropped once you've achieved softcapped defenses. -
My experience is the following, and I'm pretty much the same type of player than you are from what I read:
During the downtimes between your toons reaching IOable status, you get influence on 2 levels:
- vendoring/selling on the market drops that has little value or that I don't keep, plus generating influence by leveling. That nets you around 40 millions if you're frugal on IOs (running with common 30s from your field crafter or frankenslotting cheap sets till you reach 47)
- selling valuable crafted stuff through generally one toon (the one that has field crafter for instance) and that nets you one billion influence/infamy overtime .
Of course you can have multiple marketeers (and quite a bit of people do) but as far as I'm concerned, if you're not playing the market very actively (flipping or AE-ing a lot), you don't really need more than one "seller" and/or "bidder". Personally, I use my WW and vault to keep at least 10 of each salvage on hand at all times, lowballing them when I'm
running dry. Of course there is the occasional buy it NAO moment but that doesn't hurt too much once you have a sufficient bankroll (unless it's a full apocalypse set)
Accessory to that, once you have pretty much IO'ed out all your toons, you still play the game and get rewards for it that you'll likely sell to the best offer and that often nets you enough to have a billion on hand at some point in your career.
2 billion is also the influence cap on hand and it can be attained, so you can bet some people are going to try to reach said cap for fun/sense of achievement (just like HP cap, perma hasten, perma dom, def softcap, badges etc...) -
It is still obtainable, even if you haven't gotten any culled badges prior to i15. And the accolade counts.
I only had Early Bird prior to i15 and Architect XXV was rewarded as my 25th badge got awarded. Progress was normal on the bar. -
Well, it seems Southern_Comfort only has an issue with people sporting "Disruptor" or other pvp related badges as a badge title if they've farmed it.
As an aside, I can only hope this change will help zone pvp get more attention. -
Nota Bene or after me, you decide
Got to lay low on the Latin, Turg
Edit: grammar.... -
- If you have stealth and a good damage dealer, Angus Mc Queen's Division: Line arc is good.
- Serpent Drummer goes fast as well. -
I bought 2 for around 1 million on each side (dunno the exact pricing but 750k to 1m) last night.
So I'm guessing it's someone playing games
