I decided, bringing a Bubbles defender to the team. That will be my build.
-
I like the idea of shield offense even though most don't. Everything would be in the same hand. I hear the logic behind locking in shield, shield, but I don't buy it. Most people would probably pair them, but not all. It comes down to what powers the Devs can make fit into the game from a cost/tech perspective. I haven't really seen too many suggestions get made into powers because either they can't or too much work for the potential return. For example, optic blasts, would love to see it, but probably won't happen, secondary, make it part of customisation. Have the fire point be the eyes, could see that happening, but not anytime soon. Everybody on here will have a power they want to see and there will be those that don't like it. That's the funny thing about power suggestions, I see more slagging than support, but I must admit, there is logic to a lot of the negative feedback. In short..........Optic Blasts!!!!!!!!!!!! and while we are it, Earth Blasts, Cosmic Energy/Light Blasts, Streetfighting or Some other type of melee fighting.

Gonna have to give it a try, sounds very interesting.

Signed. Like these ideas very, very much. New powers, customization, let's refresh some of the old baddies and update them. I like the idea of having a higher level arc for these groups with an AV and maybe even badges to go along with it. Some of the best arcs are Faultline (hands down), Colleen Saramango, Dr. Vhazhilok, loved that one, Countess Crey. There are lot's, but bringing back some of these groups with similar arcs would be great. Love the idea of Boomtown, maybe a TF, same with the Hollows, I actually like the Hollows and usually solo, except for FF, which is good as well.

If I do bubbles, it will be a defender I think. Not a big fan of controllers. Just thinking. Also thinking of a fire scrapper, not sure though.
-
Thinking of a Bubbles Defender, or maybe a scrapper, or maybe a troller. Need to think hard on this.
-
Balance always is key, and I think they could balance this AT out so that it is playable, and so that people don't always make this class. I like the idea of being able to mix and match, obviously within limits, and since this is a superhero game, we should be able to make up heroes that match those we love in comics. Tanks are my fav, I always ***** about damage, mostly to myself, lol, but I still love em. Controllers, meh, Defenders, am learning, scrappers, the same, blasters, in that same category. Having said that, I have one of each that I play. It's all up to choice. Oh, and I never make Warshades or Kheldians, just think they are meh, but there are people that love them. Point is, make a class, not everyone will gravitate towards it. The Devs responsibility is to balance it.

Thanks Back Blast, but I am a bit of a dunce when it comes to PCs. How do I go about uninstalling the drivers, and then reinstalling? I also had the most up to date version of the ATI graphics card. It's an older one.

Can you please take a look at mine Texas Justice.

Hydrogen NA, what did you specifically disable? I was and am still having the same problems that you were. I am getting very frustrated.
-
I have this problem too. There is a solution, but not sure that it works, because they haven't worked for me. One is to try safe mode. The other is try this link:
http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsof...p?p_faqid=7804
Didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you.
Note: Tried it again, did not work for me, but don't let it stop you from trying, I have the x1600/x1650 for ATI. -
Yeah, the problem is still there. Soon as it gets to the login screen. Typing in my password is slow, and the mouse cursor is all over the place.
I wonder if I should just uninstall, and reinstall the game. -
My mouse moves super slow, and all over the place. It starts once I get to the log in screen to type in my password. Is my graphics card that crappy? Do I need a new one, is that the problem? In game, the mouse moves so slow, and kind of all over the place. So when I direct it to something and left click on the mouse, it takes forever to respond.
Bottom line, is this a graphics card issue. When I am on my PC, I am not having any problems at all. Help this frustrated bull.
In addition to that, when I use the direction keys on my keyboard, it is slow to respond, and floats a little, so if I go right, it moves and when I take my finger off, it moves a bit more. Any ideas, please, please all of you tech guru's, help me. -
I'll give that a try. But it starts as soon as I log in. Would it start there?
Under options, I don't see what you have posted. -
Ok, I will go through what you posted earlier. It just perplexes me since I logged in earlier on Saturday with no issues, then frozen screen, power off, power up again, and lo and behold problems.
-
Je saist, even if I can play other games without any issues? I play Rome Total War and I don't have problems. Now admittedly, my graphics card could work on that since it is older. And why don't i have keyboard and mouse issues normally, and only when I log into COH.
-
On Saturday, I ran Norton, left for a couple of hours, and my PC was locked. I had to power down and restart. I then tried to enter COH, and my mouse cursor was floating and moving kind of all over the place. Once in game, my Keyboard controls were all funky, not being able to move, moving me in directions I didn't want to go.
Earlier in the day, I logged in, and had no problems, so I am thinking something happened. Attached below is my video card. Could this be the problem?
ATI Catalyst Radeon Graphics
x1600/x1650 Series.
Could it be possible that when my PC froze it caused the problem, and if so, how do I troubleshoot.
My mouse and keyboard work fine outside the game.
Help!!!!!!! -
Ok, curious though, my cursor works normally when not in the game, it's only when I go in the game that the cursor starts to float around. Any ideas what might be causing that? I didn't have that problem this morning when I logged in, but only this afternoon.
Do I need to go into the keyboard and mouse menu's to "fix" something. Heck, I wouldn't even know what to fix, lol. -
I just logged in, and I started having a floating mouse cursor when I get to the log in screen. It continued in game, and when i tried running with my hero, she started going in all kinds of different directions, and not the way I wanted it to go. When I did stop, it would rotate non-stop. Has anyone else been experiencing this at all?
-
I recently formed a static group, well, it's been going for about 2 months now, meet once a week. There are messages in Virtue for forming static groups, keep your eyes open. The group I have is 8 players and it's a lot of fun. Maybe you could go that route. We RP and the whole 9, a very good time.
-
I like this idea, I think it's a great one. There are a lot of great ideas out there, but often times there are suggestions to RP your power, but the problem is, I don't want to RP my power, I want to actually have it. I see that a lot when it comes to power ideas. I mean heck, they have three blade powers, so why not this or some of the other ones. Why can't we have light blasts, why can't we have optical blasts. Why god, oh why??????? lol.
Anyway, point I am making, is I likethe OP's suggestion. Consider this signed. -
One idea is to have the option to auto exemp down to the appropriate level, so if they go to King's Row, give them a 2 level option, let's say 7-8 or even a 5-10 option, then run paper missions, exemping down with the appropriate power restrictions. Could be harder in reality than thought though.

How do we know which contacts are "new", and offer newer content? What issues were did htey come out in? Is there any way to find that out?
