    Honestly just looking for ideas in the direction to take her. Really was a toss up who will be utilizing GR when it comes out. I know a mind dom is more desirable for RSF but figured a mind/rad troller could come in handy.

    Guess I am looking at perma hasten/perma RA for sure along with some damage bonuses.

    Evening all!

    After rolling out my ill/rad and getting some help decided to visit one of my former favorite toons: my mind/rad troller. Her bio is hysterical and I always had fun watching people's reaction when she joins a team with her disclaimer ("this is an adult only toon, if you are under the age of 18 please let me know and I will refrain from using any binds." - she is afterall a former porn star turned super hero!).

    Anwyas, was wondering if anyone has some direction of a solid build for Mind/Rad.

    Local Man definitely has a good guide. Took some of his advice for my own build, tossed around others and this is what I am currently running with. Remember every build can be tweaked to meet your needs but Local's guide definiitely is a great jump start!

    Here's the adjustments. Following the rule of 5:
    5 - 5% recharge
    4 - 6.25%
    5 - 7.5%
    3 - 10%
    With hasten and AM up I am looking at recharge of around 215%, plus keeping some S/L defense (sorry the scrapper in me still looks at that). What do you think.

    I agree Radiation Infection is a key power that should be taken early -- no later than level 12. And I would say that Deceive is even more important in those low levels -- I take it at 4 on all my Illusion controllers.

    Superior Invis can be very useful for a low level character . . . but don't try to fight with it on or you will drain your endurance bar. SI is great for stealthing missions, travel through difficult areas, scouting out ahead and Deceiving foes before the fight begins.

    I agree with the advice for Blind . . . as you can see in my guide.

    Enervating Field needs two EndRdx -- no more, no less. Hasten should have 2-3 Recharge and no more (with enough global Recharge, you may be able to get away with 2 and still have perma-PA. Otherwise, use 3).

    Ling Rad can get away with a single Accuracy in the default slot if you have enough global Recharge. Perma-PA builds have enough.

    At level 50, my prefered slotting for PA is 4 Expedient Reinforcement (all but Dam/End and the Resist proc), then Dam/Rech and Chance for Build Up from Soulbound. That caps Damage AND Recharge, with a chance for added damage. For Phantasm, the same four Expediant Reinforcement with some additional Acc/Dam -- a Nucleus Hami-O works great.

    But you have to watch out for the Rule of 5 . . . no more than five set bonuses of the same kind. There are a lot of sets with 6.25% Recharge, which is why I used the Unspeakable Terror set for Spectral Terror in my Ill/Rad build.
    Thanks for the feedback guys but i still see some issues with your build. The build you posted in your guide with ice mastery epic has 6 7.5% recharge bonuses. Since you only get the bonus for the first 5 you have some wasted recharge there.

    I do agree with taking RI earlier and flash later. That was a mistake in my build progression and I adjusted accordingly. Still working through this but some good advice thus far.

    DM/Fire?

    Been searching through the thread and haven't been able to find much on a DM/Fire brute. Anyone have any experience with this build?

    Seems like it would be a solid solo build that could shine with some IO love later in the game. I know /fire may not be the strongest but should be a fun build.

    Here's the build I am currently running. I have revamped DbD more times than I can count but this seems to be the winner. Good all around with his defenses, regen, recharge and not bad at farming. Cant take out AV's unless I pop a few reds but he is a fun buzzsaw!

    I have been tempted to return to my doms after a year away from them. I know the potential of a Mind/Fire dom but was wondering if their is any benefit to mind/ice? Ice is the one attack set I have never played after 5 years and was wondering how it performs?

    Any advie?

    Been looking for this for the last day or so and cant find another thread so I apologize if this is a repost. Are they going to fix the enhancement screen? A respec is PAINFUL when my enhancement screen looks like it can hold 9 slots.

    And the itty-bitty, teensy-weensy levels on my IO's is agonizing!

    Here is my latest build on my Spines/Dark. This character was a favorite for almost 2 years until I made my dark/shiled and I cannot count the number of respecs I have used on him. This current build was to maximize my recharge time although I have yet again been toying with respecing to up my defenses and surviviability. Just not sure I want to give up my recharge.

    You should probably slot True Grit a bit more but I can't really see any slots to move around with out drastically altering your build
    OK, giving it one more go. Right now I am using my previous build for farming but have run into a few AV's that are giving me trouble (looking at you Malaise and Seige). I may have to use this on test first before committing to it though since I love tossing out fireball after SC.

    Evening guys!

    Ok finally have had a chance to sit down and rework my build agains. I havent seen a huge effect on the DDR effect when I am soloing AV's or farming with my former build but toying around with it again I added a slot to TG and put in the RT unique and added 2 slots to AD to bump my DDR to over 53%.

    What do you think now?

    Mind/Earth Dom?

    POST-ACTION

    Making another effort to level a dom and looking for feedback. I havent seen much in the way of a Mind/Earth dom so was wondering what you think?

    I leveled a fire/psy until the nerf on the tier 9 and she now sits in limbo (at least until GR when I may take her blue side). I figure the Mind/Earth may be more to my liking as most of the time I play my scrappers and brutes.

    To be honest, there is no way to stack in your favor. I used to farm a mission with my spines/dark before the difficulty settings. I averaged (yes. averaged) 1 purple per run. Made close to 1.4 billion and purpled out said spines/dark.

    When the new difficulty settings came in I have only seen a total of 5 purple drops. Then this week I have had 4 drop (all crap unfortunately). So there is no way of stacking in your favor. But as others have said, dont underestimate the lvl 50 set drops. I have made nearly 200 million in one run from some of those.

    All that being said, I have also had the rarest of rare drops and had a LoTG + Recharge and a Numina ++ drop while farming. So it is totaly, completely random!

    Ahhh, i think I have it figured it. . . I was missing the Steadfast Defense Unique. Completely forgot about that. This should open my build up a bit more. Thankfully I have a couple days off to work this out!
