Great single target control and damage, a nice AOE (not able to say whether Frost Breath is all that nice), permadoms cheaply and puts a partridge in your pear tree. You won't bring the team-based absolute control that you could with a set like Earth/ or the like, but you have more useful corner stuff and don't run the risk of overcontrolling.
I've got a mind/ice permahasten permadom and I find it QUITE nice. You drop the inf. it'll take you straight to the top.

I have a level 43, non-IOed, non-perma Dom and I still find him a fun toon to play.
Lots of tricks up your sleeve, a mezz for just about every opportunity and stacked -recharge from both powersets is very nice. As others have said, not the 'uber-control' you might want from a Dom but a very solid combo nonetheless.

I have been tempted to return to my doms after a year away from them. I know the potential of a Mind/Fire dom but was wondering if their is any benefit to mind/ice? Ice is the one attack set I have never played after 5 years and was wondering how it performs?
Any advie?
