Quote:The bow is available for purchase outside of the pack for 60 PP.I apologize if I am a bit off topic, as I am not responding directly to the issue of inclusion of Roman weapons. My complaint focuses on the bow, and how it is bundled arbitrarily with the roman stuff, and its availability is limited-time (but maybe I should think of it as a limited-time valentines item instead ... as I am used to limited time holiday items, but they still annoy me).

I'd say the redesigned Harley Quinn from the Suicide Squad trumps that entire list.

Quote:No. I don't think they would have been released at all. Far too of a niche product to have spent resources on.Pre-Freedom, could you of seen the Circles of Thorn set, Fireman helmet, or even the Carnival of light set, released as a paid for extra?
Quote:The coyote travel power? Pre-Freedom that would of been the 'bundled' power in say a native American themed costume set.
I mean, I thought they were "two or three more NCsoft meetings away from being shut down."
Doesn't really make sense for them to produce niche products. -
With TV Carol being exposed to far worse than Comic Carol (Relatively recent spousal abuse, watching spouse being devoured, Sophia incident vs. Implied abusive spouse's suicide, infidelity, and rejection by social support), I'd say that her demise will be most enjoyable.
I see it playing out similar to her comic end. She'll attempt to begin a personal (not necessarily sexual) relationship with Daryll. Due to his nature, he'll reject her and she'll spiral into madness that ends with her demise.
I'm also expecting T-Dog to be done by the end of the season. -
I think they're slowly using Carol to build up Daryll's character traits more.
I see her hanging around through Season 2, till we've established him in a real leadership position among the survivors. -
Quote:Archery is getting a new bow with the Roman costume pack.I'd buy it. Can't remember the last time sets like Archery or Claws got new weapons. Would also be nice to get a few new Spines, while we're at it, as well.
I'll set the bar even lower. I'd take a weapon pack that unlocked all the "defeat X" weapons from the get go. -
Quote:Evidence please. Projections will do fine.If time truly is money then they should have allowed toggles to stay active during rocket board/magic carpet. They would have made way more money and thus their time would have been worth more. Instead they suckered themselves out of money.
Quote:They lost a customer in me and others. I would have bought every travel power released if only toggles were allowed to stay active. Now I won't. Those words that's money flushing down the toilet for paragon studios cause some lazy developer couldn't spend a little extra time to code that toggles stay active while these travels are active. -
There is another interesting thing I picked up over the holidays. It's the Walking Dead Season 1 episode guide.
The television show stuff is utter fluff (pictures, mini-interviews, and the like), but half the book is dedicated to the creation of the comic.
Which is pretty interesting. There's Kirkman's original pitch included. One of the highlights (for me at least) was the section about trying to sell the comic to publishers. Since zombies hadn't come back (no pun intended), absolutely no one was interested in publishing it. Kirkman modified his original pitch to include the plot line that aliens from outer space were causing the dead to rise in an attempt to overthrow governments. He goes on to say that he never intended to actually follow through with this plot, but it worked because Image picked up the series.
He had to later admit that the alien plot line was a farce when the editors at Image asked, three issues in, why there was no references to the alien overlords.
Fast forward about a decade later, the books are regularly in three or four spots in the New York Times best sellers list (both hardcover and paperback). And he's one of the owners of Image comics to boot! -
Quote:This is bloody Awesome news.. Now everyone has to do the arc alone...in the dark... Cos people don't want to run the same arc over n over.
Way to go devs woooo
What was the point of the change? i also see no logic but to make it more annoying for people to gain access.
Quote:If this change is live it SUCKS. I had squishy characters that only obtained their entrance into the Midnighter's Club by joining someone else's mission and aiding them in completing the arc. It is rediculous to think that an 8 man team would not be able to sync missions and all get credit for completing the arc once .. but would instead have to run it 8 times for all to obtain the badge and access.
That's not what was changed.
What was changed was the ability to simply hop on the mission at the very end, without completing any of the arc, and get credit for the badge.
People can still sync up their missions, complete it together accordingly, and move on. -
Quote:Yes and no.Others, who read the comic (I haven't), said that it departed from the comics long ago in terms of story.
It's still the basic story as the comic (A never ending zombie movie), but there are some major departures in terms of character development, introduction and so on.
Season 3 was announced to have sixteen episodes over the break, so I guess we'll have another eight and eight season and mid-season next year. -
Quote:I thought they were airing that instead of Hell on Wheels.Bummed that A&E snuffed the live talk show after, it was kinda fun. They replaced it with a reality show set in Kevin Smith's comic book shop.
Either way, I'm disappointed it won't be back.
More AMC cuts I guess?
There was an article a few days ago that finally confirmed that Darabont left/fired over money issues. His vision sounded interested, but wholly impractical for cable television.
I was surprised to hear they are operating on half the budget of season 1 though. -
Some interesting rumors regarding Darabont's new show and the cast going around.
I93 came out recently. Comic is taking some interesting turns post I90.
There's other teasers/trailers so forth floating around. AMC used to have a few, but I haven't seen them lately. -
resource issue most likely.
That being said, I wouldn't mind a mobile app to access the auction house or vault. Or a way to pay base rent while I'm away. -

Quote:There were a few "indy" heroclix figures made around the time CoV launched. The Collector's Edition of City of Heroes came with cape-less Statesman. Regular editions of City of Villains came with a random figure (Options included Caped Statesman, Manticore, Positron, Ghost Widow, Captain Mako, and Black Scorpion). If you purchased the Collector's Edition of City of Villains, you got all six figures available plus Lord Recluse.Wow, I did not know CoH was a click base game. Who produces it? Thanks.
Alternatively, you could also get the Cape-less Statesman in the Hero Gear Kit too. -
I imagine this was the solution to fix the actual bug.
The one that allowed you to talk to the Latin Student, earn the badge then abandon the mission. Picking up the mission again put you at the point of talking to the Latin student, so you could earn the badge for another group of players. -
Move Ms. Liberty out of AP and into those voids left by Statesman/
Move Back Alley Brawler into her place.
Done and done. I'm going to go have a meatball sub. -

As they should have.
I mean, the only exposure we had to saber duels in the original were from 1) an old man who likely hasn't dueled (canon wise) in nearly 20 years 2) a cyborg and 3) an inexperienced kid that never received proper saber training. -
Battle damaged costume sets were brought up during one of the streams.
It was pretty much handled the way you specified (minus the aura of course). Specific costume pieces would be something possible. To expand to every piece of costume in the game would be too time consuming. -
Eh, I just assumed Anderson kept making them as a way to subject audiences to his wife's weak acting.
I've been a fan of the games since the get-go and I believe there is absolutely no way the plot line (especially at this point) would have made a decent movie. To quote Sam Raimi, quoting Dino De Laurentiis in the Evil Dead 2 commentary: "Sam, Sam...you can't have one man on screen alone for 30 minutes"...which to remain faithful to the original Resident Evil story would been just that (Yes, yes, there are exceptions to this rule...but I wouldn't lump popcorn flicks into the same class of cinema as those exceptions).
I can appreciate what they've done to the Resident Evil brand, and if it means I keep getting to play games like Revelations and Operation Raccoon City because of said popularity in the Resident Evil brand...hooray for Hollywood.
