Justice is also a prime Aussie server, so is frequently at the bottom for server load during our peak time and your US non peak times.

Only if they add OS trolling to the ban for a week list.

Quote:I'm aware that your intentions are honest, but as a challenge you are still saying 'I can find a team in a week' not 10-15 minutes. The fact that reality (ie work) wont allow you to do the challenge as you want is unfortunate. Though most of the complainers would say 'anytime I log on I never ever can get a team) so an after hours one might work.WRONG! I have virtually no friends in game. And I haven't used any global chat channels in months. Haven't had any luck with SGs either, too much work.
I play in nothing but pick up groups, almost always have. So I KNOW what I'm talking about when I say anyone can get a team together. And the timeframe is only for my JOB. If I didn't have a job that took up so much of my time, I'd open the challenge without a warning time frame in it.
It's not like I'll be preparing or anything, I just have to have that much time to get off of work.
But as the challenge stands, it wont automagically make anyone who doesnt agree with taking your challenge an 'invalid fool'. It means they don't like the restrictive terms of the challenge.
Out of curiosity, do you mean a team with any level members or a team with a close level range to the person looking? -
I agree that you can find teams with effort*, but all your challenge is showing is that a long time vet of 5+ years (with the implication of a large global friends/chat channel list) can find a team (consisting of any level?) with a weeks notice.
* effort in your example being 15-20 minutes
Note that I dont believe there is a problem finding people, or that it requires 15+ minutes to form something and go. -

I'd called that removed to make life easier than listening to complaints.
Tweaked seems somewhat of an misleading understatment.
So no one can see positive comments either.

I see the tweak as a reposnce to the over sentisitive and overly loud. -
thanks for heads up, was a tad cross when first checked the timings.

((Yes, it literally comes up every month))
Quote:One of my favorite characters is a energy/energy blaster. I refuse to slot for KB, and I can think of a lot of occasions still when I turn in battle to help a melee comrade, fire a shot, only to have his target go flying, even on a well-placed shot. I've learned to beef up hover so I can speedily zip around the battlefield trying to line up a shot opposite a wall to mitigate the KB effects. Not so great on open field missions though, nor in tight spaces, like sewer doorways. I'd love to change KB to a knockdown, allow a power to slot either KB or KD, or even have a special enhancement for chance of knockdown overriding inherent knockback.

Of course, in the end, the two most common sources of these complaints are from melee players who can't bear the thought of pressing the forward key, and people who are far too concerned with squeezing the maximum XP per second out of their team. Thankfully I'm not obligated to team with either. -
Quote:I'm slogging through a few villian alts on justice now, but I can see why those who typically only play on other servers, don't show up for events - not having toons of high enough level to attend an event has stopped me from joining the villain nights like lady grey tf etc.I started on Justice, and have never played seriously on any other server. For me Justice is all about community, and we have some great players there.
I know people are reluctant to move, but perhaps they could show up occasionally for events? Justice has a lot to offer.
I suffer from way bad altitis so I dont mind new toons on lots of servers, but its more a problem getting a few upper levels ones, I tend to dither and slack my way up rather than rush to 50. But I have a justice redside 18 now I think

I (and its probably my altitis again), don't understand why people only use one server. -

Quote:Thats Irony all right *laughs*Here's some irony for you.

Not sure why they didn't just post that as a reply rather than giving me -rep. Also not sure if it's intentional abuse or just forum hiccup. I went ahead and reported just to get the "extras" cleaned up. Overall only worth about -6 rep. But the hilariousness of the topic should be amusing for the mod who responds to the call.
They all look like same post so I bet its a hiccup, unless someone is using three accounts to complain about how bad anonymous feedback is .... -
What is the inf to prestige ratio with the Fulmen support program?

PS: I would have responded to this topic sooner, but NCSoft mistakenly banned my master account Sunday afternoon, thinking I had committed payment fraud while buying a Xunali storage pane for Guild Wars, and I just got it unlocked today
Really annoying to be banned for 5 days over $8.11 >.>
Hope it doesnt mess with getting into GR beta for you, assuming ya interested in it. -

Most of my toons are on virtue.
A few RL friends that play have a lot of toons on Virtue as well. Only lowbies on Justice and other places for me.
The Australia chat channel is very justice orientated at the momment imo, (being the unoffical server for our time zone and all) but there seem to be plenty of Aussies of virtue and freedom as well.
I'd be surprised if there wasnt a few on pinnacle (the unofficial drinking server) as well. -

Quote:I got to agree with this. You know, I never thought of Parkour as a 'travel power'. I always saw it as maximizing your Existing travel powers, by creative usage of the 'obstacles' in your path.
I CoH, that means zipping up bridge embankments, instead of being Stopped by that wall. Or hopping from the top of a Dumpster to a ledge, running along that, then hopping to a low rooftop, and from there to the top of a warehouse, and crossing Over the building, instead of being forced to run Around it.
I vividly recall running through dangerous neigborhoods, by hopping and popping fences and walls, ducking away from those nasty purple things lurking in the alleys. And the screech of terror that runs through your mind in mid-laughter, when you duck away from those gang-bangers, only to find yourself blind-jumping into a crowd of Vahzilok.
And the same skills come into play, when you're SK'd to someone and have to cover ground the old-fashioned way, after they blithely Fly to the next mission.
Frankly, I tend to give a crash course in CoH Parkour to every newbie I hook up with, because it's So Useful!

I love running along/across/over and under obstacles and bouncing about. -
I like the idea of the banner event triggering as well or instead of zombie invasion.
A Paragon city event be good too. -

Adding global friends was a little buggy not long ago: couldnt friend someone in same zone or the like.
Might be related to that.
I'd hope trial accounts could be friends. -
