Use mids or the online planner?
Use a dual build?
I understand being annoyed, but test aint a guarantee -
Quote:Ahhhh bingo! There is, at least on your own. Which, perhaps, is what you're referencing when you say, "run my own teams."
As for the OP, fame degrades but your progress does not...unless you enter a co-op zone. Perhaps you need to stay away from Pocket D, Cimerora, the RWZ, etc.?
And thanks everyone for your help. -
Quote:Also (and not all these are equal in annoyance levels)What I found mentioned in the thread (because I was curious):
Re-Toggling
Travel Speed
Base Teleporter
Crafting Table
- Losing/needing to rebuild permadom
- RPers who never land on ground (prob other RP issues too)
- Hasten to recharge base TPers/long recharge items
- Using any of the TPers mission teleporter right from WW/BM or hopping zones from one WW/BM to another, pocket D, etc
There's also that costumes, capes, costume changes and auras probably induce more lag than most toggles.
There's also that the same people who intentionally grief with power spamming will be able to train mobs (espically redside) into the market zones.
I disagree the answer is 'buy a decent computer'. To me, the best and most workable solution would be a door/click to get into a studio B type market. -
Quote:So basically you are unable to read any of the posts above with thier reasons, and want people to repeat themselves for you to ignore again?Sooo basically, the issue here is people are impatient and can't be bothered to press a few buttons after they get done with business. Awesome.
Seriously, why have all of those toggles on at a market? Is there any reason you've gotta have jacked up defense while shopping? I can understand keeping travel powers on, but all of those dark armor or storm or whatever powers are entirely unnecessary. Hamidon isn't gonna sneak up on your while you're bidding on that one regenerating flesh. -

I suggest you use the channel search, and join a few different server's TF channels. You can lurk/read global channels from any server, and this will give you a feel of how active they are at your playtimes.
You'll have more luck finding Tfs via broadcast chat on the bigger pop servers depending on when you play (eg freedom, virtue) but even on those, joining the chat rooms is the best and most consistent way of finding Tfs. -
Thanks!
I'm less in a rush, than wanting to make sure my time isnt being spent uselessly.
I have had people drop from my teams when they saw i wasnt doing the right (for them) tip missions. Its good to know you can build towards both.
I think I am probably confusing Public Fame with tip points too. Still confusing me a little. If I have 2 tip points towards villainry, and 1 circle of public fame left in each, I wont get more tip points until I get the public fame to 4? which shouldnt matter as if i run my tip missions, then I can get more... so why worry about fame circles? -

I would hate losing dom when dropping into a markert, and hate losing the ability to use my base TPer, and drop back right in front of the market where I left, and the already mentioned crafting table.

I'm finding hero/villian merits and morality a really futile grind - I must be doing them or something wrong. It feels like if I change characters all my progress towards a morality mission is lost ): The sfiner bits of the system I find very complicated though I think I know the basics; play 10 tip missions towards one alignment and I get a morality mission. After the morality mission I get hero/villain merit?
(Side track: Finding/making that teams for the doing morality missions seem harder than paper/radio PUG making. Is it true that unless you're willing to adopt the morality of the team, your progress goes backwards? I play off US peak times on virtue and seldom have trouble finding normal teamage)
My play time of late is limited to one or two missions a night, with some nights having no game time.
I tend to play a newbie alt in praetoria followed by an older character working towards getting a morality mission. Im thinking I will have to give up the playing in praetoria if I want to change morality for my other characters ):
Do I have to persist with just one character to have any hope of changing it really does feel like stagnant progress. It doesnt seem enough to do the ten mission in a row with a character seems it has to be within a timeframe.
In short: If it takes me over twenty nights to get 10 missions complete will I ever get there? -
Quote:They hate Australians and rest of world more. AT least you get acknowgledment and the hope of future contests. And you've had quite a few contest that you could enter of late.I'm guessing you mean 'design a future, Going Rogue linked character'. Since, y'know, GR is already out
Still pretty neat.
Oh, and; Devs hate EU!
"But don’t despair our European friends – some EU specific activities will be coming your way soon!" -
I prefer the mob to run away and stroll back, than facing TS (tethering system).

A lot of stuff is still to be relisted too. I know i havent put everything back from every character.
Plus some stuff would of been put on by characters since deleted, so will never get put back. -
This is why I need to check the forums during weekends :0

Try trina in Pocket D to see if you change there, and see if problem is with your account not being flagged to change (then log a support ticket) or if the steel canyon cosmetic tailor is the problem (then /bug it)

Wish I was allowed to enter ):
Good luck to those that can.
I really like seeing this sort of competition. -
Getting that first vet attack made a lot of diffeence with lowbie characters. I expect getting the staff (soon) will be as good too. WHich in my opinion is thier design - getting vets interested in playing lower level characters - thus playing with new players.
That is a real strength of the vet reward system.
/confession: I am a temp power junkie & often spend a million or so on lowbie characters getting the taser, the wonderful envemoned dagger, recovery serum, with the hammer/bat/something for my low on attacks characters. The back up radio is useful at lower level pugs when someone leaves the mission and leaves you short staffed -
its like every effort was made to avoid knowing aboutteh predownload, including ignoring experience with previous issue releases.

I was going to stick with MU mastery, but the fire AoEs are very tempting

Quote:Yep. Its why its only a little bit painful. You can make a new toon on a less crowded server and transfer later!
Over react much? -
You could mail customer support and ask them if they accept it as a payment method.
-
Quote:I wish the transfers started earlier though, a little bit painful that you have to wait through the queue to transfer to somewhere less busy.Wouldn't it be easier, instead of merging servers and all the associated issues that have to worked out along with that step, to just offer free transfers for a limited time?
That way the population could balance itself out and people who felt their preferred server was too crowded to enjoy would be able to move to a less populated server.
Paragon Studios should totally look into doing something like that.
