You do get your mez protection much earlier as a defender. Which is nicer than time bomb.

    Data Usage

If you use windows, grab Networx for free (no adware). It can log your data useage and give you exact numbers/session. You can keep reports for a month and see if you are getting close to your 3GB after a week and if you will need to adjust your playing time.

For a while, I was on a crappy 5 GB/month plan, that counted uploads and downloads as that limit. I found I was using 200-300 MB/session of approx four hours. See if your plan counts uploading as well.

itrials, mothership raids and teaming uses more bandwidth - more data back and forth.

You can turn off sending buffs/receiving buff info and numbers in options. I suggest you do so.

And why is she standing outside? I thought scientists were normally found actually in their labs overseeing their experiments and whatnot, not standing out in the carpark having conversations with their test subjects.
    She's a chain smoker.

    New ATIO proc

What would really be nice is if the debuff stacked from the same user, but not counting on it. The mag 2 terrorize I'm not sure will be useful, will have to wait and see.

My only concern about the set is that the superior's set bonuses fall short on the hit points: it's listed at 3% where the other purple sets with hps (apocalypse, soulbound pet set) are at 4%. Not a -huge- deal but it isn't a superior stat.
Isn't that a good thing, so you can better avoid the rule of five?

So why do i not see many SoA when i'm playing? I haven't rolled a huntsman or a bane; are they any good? Cause i'm pretty much a walking tank shooting AoE attacks everywhere
One other reason I haven't seen mention of it, is that most people might have one character that is SoA, with different builds for the branches, rather than one soldier for each branch.
Compared with the far more varied combinations for every standard AT, a player might have 5 very different scrappers etc.

So there's just less in most peoples roster of characters.

I enjoyed reading it a lot, and found it very informative and useful.
  7. There's quite a few powers that I just can't handle on characters. I used not to be able to play a bubbler as the dispersion bubble quickly gives me a head ache, I find the blazing aura generates a lot of eye strain, my purdy costumes not visable yada yada.

My way of dealing with it is to make a couple of marcos so you can turn off effects on your characters. It turns all effects off, so you can't pick and choose (I'd love this to be an option in game).
It also only effects your display. Your team still cant see your pretty costume.

    /bind control+S suppressCloseFxDist 300
    /bind shift +S suppressCloseFxDist 0

You can change the control+s and shift+s for any other key combination.

So in game, I can press control+s and most visual crap on my character is removed for me. Shift+s and I see it again.

Note that if your team is getting bubbled, it will look like to you that you haven't been, as the shield wont be visible to you.

It's also a setting that sticks for next characters logged in until you change it, so initially there's a bit of setup to get it to every character. You can save the keybinds for new characters.

You may also need (as a one off) to go into Menu --> Options --> display Settings --> Advanced Graphics Settings --> Suppress FX When Close is Enabled.

    A few questions

It will be unlocked for as many Mastermind characters as you want to make, and that you have slots to make.
  9. I have it as an option at the tailor.

Just remember, the more you react to the griefers, the more they'll grief you. If they don't get a rise out of you, they'll move onto other targets.
Nearly any buff will break an emote too. I don't see many griefers willing to spend real $money when they could just use a shield buffer.

Just petition the whacker who do use it to grief. Dont take away my toys for a just in case.

    Spoilers dammit!

    The land is real.

    Mordred kills the king.

    Ender was fighting actual battles.

    They created the Reavers.

And combat auras. Though they show how it might work - any power on auto, or drawing a weapon normally starts auras set for combat. Might see if the out of combat recovery dayjob etc cut off at similar times.
  13. Contagious Confusion Proc is awesome. Make sure you use it.

As one of the people who has the DVD edition and all the shinies that come with it, I personally wouldn't mind if the devs "went back on their word" on this if there's really a demand for it. But I don't claim to speak for everyone.
    I share the same opinion.
  15. I don't do more than a couple of DFB's a week.
I don't care if others play them non stop.

  17. Once or twice a week is enough for me. Either on a newbie or someone who needs the badges.

  19. Please add losing everything on your power trays (power icons and macros) as a known issue.
  20. Hit me, lost macros on my MM, all trays also set to tray 1. And every other character I've tried so far - four of them before i gave up.

Bloody annoying. Want to log on alts to get badges and the gifts. Dont want to have to set them all up again!

Still have loads of characters effected by the no icons selection on map - spending more time re-arranging my characters back than I get to play.

    Grrrrrrrr.
  21. I miss Dr Creed too.

I use the find contact as soon as I'm 5th level.

And not just Powers, but MACROS as well. FFS. It's worse than /cleartray.

Between that and that at least half my characters have thier map icons all reset as well, its like logon to play, spend all my time rearranging.

When it hit one of my MM's I just logged for the night and played other games. Setting all those macros up again is a *****.
  23. Mostly one or two tips. Sometimes joining/starting a team for tips or paper/radio missions. So story arcs or patron arcs if I want longer on a character than a few tips. Or if I'm sick of the same tips again!

The SSA on a couple of characters once a week.

About once a week or fornight I'll make myself do a couple of iTrials for the rewards.
  24. Combat jumping is one of my most picked powers.
