They will be. River is willfully staying in jail for murdering a good man and all signs point to Rory. River wouldn't stay in jail unless she wanted to be and atoning for killing her father is a very good reason.

It makes perfect sense. Papa Smurf must have had a bit too much Smurf Berry Wine in his youth.

I would say that the abilities of a zombie deteriorate with age. Fresh zombies will be stronger and faster than humans due to their limiters being removed. Assuming that rot still occurs, then zombies will lose their strength and speed until nothing is left except bones. Assuming humanity can isolate themselves from the zombie horde, then it is just a matter of time until zombies rot themselves out of existence.
I read this one manga chapter on zombies where it had an easily curable disease that caused the victims to exhibit zombie-like symptoms with full awareness of their actions, but unable to control their movements. The results were not pleasant. It was a very disturbing manga due to the grossness factor that I might have mentioned before on the forums. -
Quote:Maybe that is why they are #2. Not taking the proper needs of certain aliens would reduce their ranking. This time, he endangerd *himself* too. This plague was fatal to Time Lords. What if he'd landed pretty much anywhere else on the planet except inside a sterile facility?
For that matter, the planet was supposedly the #2 tourist destination in the entire Universe. Their health system should be _very_ familiar with aliens. -
It is over. Everything goes back to normal with the minor exception as Jack lost his title of Only Immortal Man on Earth. They also opened up the possibility of a sequel where the game of Torchwood vs. Family continues.

If you have a treasure you don't want to lose, then the best possible option is only tell trusted friends that you have it or better yet don't tell anyone. Telling other people just guarantees that someone will grab it because they are weak or evil. It is sad that it happened, but this is the world we live in.

Quote:A bullet to the spine is an effective means of stopping atrocious behavior and apprehending criminals. Living is suffering and living as a quadraplegic is one of worst ways to live. Kind of hard to bomb a building, rob a bank, or other deviant behavior when the criminal is stuck in a wheelchair. Actually have a lot of respect for handicapped people that have a very positive attitude.Apprehension doesn't put a stop to their activities. Far too often they walk away scott free or they simply use intermediaries to run their operations from inside prison.
Death is the only effective rehabilitation that has never failed to stop them from being repeat offenders. -
I would go with #3.
Quote:Should be an interesting 5 years. I assume it would take at least 5 years to stabilize the world after that type of event. Chaos makes the world more interesting.Everyone can be super! And when everyone's super, [laughs maniacally] no-one will be. -

I assume to do this, we would need some type of encyclopedia with all the world's information on it.
The result would be a civilization that has a mix of 19th to 20th or 21st Century city since there is technology that was created in the 20th and maybe 21st Century that could have been created in the 19th Century if people figured it out. -
The new episode gives new meaning to following a blood trail.

I would like to see a series with Gary 7 or the more appropriate name would be Harry 8 since we can't get the actor that played Gary 7. The formation of Section 31 or a show about the Department of Temporal Affairs would also be interesting ideas.

My opinion is that real-life superheroes must have abilities beyond the average person. A former special-ops soldier acting as a vigilante would be a real-life superhero or someone that has developed technology to help defeat villains. Normal people with no special skills are not real-life superheroes. Most of these people seem to be either crazy or they are seeking attention.

It is Nerdschrodinger. It is in the state of Nerdfail and Nerdwin at the same time. The tattoo is completely nerdfail.

There is a big thread in the Comic section. Looks like a Firefly/Outlaw Star style MMO.

Life support gasses are based on chemical reactions with the body. Even though Argon exists in decent amount of quantities in the air, it is not essential for a person to live. The only one that is absolutely necessary is Oxygen, but Nitrogen can be added as well. Might want to check Breathing gases for some ideas on what type of air tanks to craft. Iron, carbon, and some other elements to make the tank or some other alloy and decide which type of air tank to make based on the need of the player.
-
Carbon belongs to Food and Construction. Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen also belong to the Food category. Noble gases don't belong to the Life Support Gasses unless you are dealing with alien life support systems. I think Argon is used as a construction material. If you want to keep it as realistic as possible, then you have to have some elements in more than one category. Easiest way is type each element into wikipedia and see if you can use it for anything. I would disregard any elements that have a minor influence or no influence like Americium in smoke detectors. Could be used in construction, but not a main feature.

In hindsight, it was to be expected with the Star Trek: TNG/X-men crossover book.

I am disgusted with some people how they can't own up to their own mistakes and admit they are wrong or passing the blame to someone else. Real courage is owning up to your mistakes and facing the consequences.
If these guys are innocent, then they should be able to sue for wrongful imprisonment and screwing up their lives. Even if they are free, there will always be people that believe they actually did the crime and treat them as such. -
I imagine it has to do with Eric being an older vampire than Bill. Bill is only about 200 years old while Eric is about 1,000. The older the vampire, the more potent the blood.

One of these doomsday nutballs will come to the conclusion that if they want their doomsday prophesy fulfilled, then they have to do it themselves. Seems like we had the capability to destroy ourselves for decades.

Me and my coworkers invented a Teleportation device. However, we haven't been able to demonstrate that it works. Seeing that it is just a piece of paper with the word Teleport inside a circle drawn in with marker. Also I have researched alternate dimensions where cybernetic organisms, the Force, phasers, and other technologies exist.
Researching and inventing mean nothing unless it is published in a peer-reviewed publication or there is a working prototype. -
Lots of mockery will occur on January 2013.

Could be wrong, but didn't Kirk get control of the Enterprise a few years earlier than in the original universe? If so, then Kirk could change things because it is Kirk on the Enterprise instead of Pike. Might be some interesting stories that Pike had that could be retold as Kirk stories.
