thats Right Yet Another Toon At 50.
Cptn Slacker my Storm / Dark fender hit 50 last night during a pingu ITF.
He was Made to to Cause Mary in the KHTF and was the leader of the all Storm Katie in march.
deffently has changed my mind about storms -
what time are you playing the game? Sounds like you are hitting the maintance window and if so, that really is not a game issue more like what was posted above.

Hot knife only done Tarikoss and ITF (with butter). Right now I know BA is pushing to get his Brute caught up to the rest of us. Out new member Firenewt (not in the Big Bad SG) is 47 as well. Hot knife has 5 ppl, 1 that is out of range for the TF as of last night.
If the others can team up and work on missions or what not while we do the LG I am fine with that.. if they just dont play that night, does seem kind like we are leaving them on the side.
I think the main reason hot knife has not done a lot of the SF is the team has been small some nights.
once the team gets to 50 is when the team status is over from what I gathered. at that point I can go back and do other missions (or right now if they are lower as to not pass the team up) -

FPS are the best sell for dual/tripple video cards as you what the high FPS. Rhino is more CPU driven if my memory serves me, and the 8 effective cores will be nice to have, if this is the type of work you do then I would say get a least 12 gigs of ram (if not the full 24 gigs most boards support). Edit: one more question: Anyone out there have experience with complicated Nurbs modeling for manufacturing? I've been dipping my feet deeper and deeper into this pool. Aside from gaming, this is the one place where my current PC is starting to really show its age. Will my video card(s) really help with this? Or other than on screen rendering (Rhino mostly), is this mostly core processing and RAM that will help boost my performance there?
I have the Evga board as I stated before, my only issue was the 1st one worked for about 23 hours then got the bios FF issue. 2nd one has not had any issues todate.
get one that is SLI certified even if you go with one video card (gives you the options to add more laters on)
one other I would say get a Zalman CNPS 9500 or 9700 HS to help with the cololing during rendering (Coh uses about 17% of the i7 920 cpu power) -

If you are coping things over from your mac, there might be formating or spacing issues with the files and are causing the problem. Windows and Mac os dont use the same end of line string. Some apps take that into account but not all programs should be required to take that into account.
I would do like others avise and check your drivers. You seem to be out numbers with your failures over those of us who use win7 with better results than vista. All of the things you say happen in win7, I have gotten in Vista.
also claming you have a legit copy of windows 7 shows you dont really know that it is free for everyone in the beta/RC form. Just because you got a version from a vender doesnt mean its a good copy. -

I would go with your time frame. I7-920 processor is very nice, and can be found for around 199 on sale (Microcenter/ egg ) To jump up .40 ghz you can pay double for it. That is why a lot of ppl are saying get the 920 processor.
I am using a Evga X3 SLI x58 board with 12 gigs of ram.
Video card get at least 1 275 card. If you play games that use SLI then get a 2nd. If Coh is your primary game. SLI works but not in a lot of places the upgrade to the 275 alone would improve your wold of gaming. (use price of the 2nd card to get a new monitor 22" at least)
OS windows 7 should be out in Oct and the 64bit version is better than the vista counter part (I use RC1 with mine right now).
some thing to look at but are not needed would be a blu ray player (~99.oo) and you can use that system to watch movies as well.
I would stay away from SSD drives. They wont last as long and cost wise you could get a Raptor drive 10,000 RPM drive cheaper for added speed. -
Since Ping posted this thread. I been playing with the #1 recipe to crafted sales on the red side. I been getting the recipe and salave (this close to buy it noa prices). for under 5mil.I have sold over 25 of them over 14mil a piece (Low selling price).

Even with Pings Tip in the open there is still a lot of in game cash to be made off these.
at lvl 46 my Wednesday static team toon is now a Ebil. -
welcome back, as said above, yes there been changes Pl'er moved from PI to Atlas park, Forums changed/upgradted. Lots of things are in the hopper to come as well. pings black bubbles of doom (you being able to change the color of your powers), Lot of server pet deaths will stop with them following you in and out of missions.

I think we are going to be high for a few weeks still, now that we are heading into the 1st weekend since DXP, alot of just weekend players are going to be wanting to buy things as well.

There is still a problem. The error message at the login screeen tells me to check server status. Server status says that everything is up already. So either the server status should be ignored (which contradicts the message). Or the status is correct and there is a login problem.

Highest tank I have todate is a stone/axe tank. ( I tend to get as much firing at me as I can while everyone else then out the numbers)
My tanker tuesday tank is SD/mace (I kinda wish I went with SS in place of Mace)
for the off server events I been getting a lot of WP/DB -
Myself and 2 RL friends had this happen on our widow/Fort team. We were doing a mayham and had about 1 full level and 4 mins left to make sure everything was dead. Boom, crashed. Once we get back in we had a couple of minutes left to redo the mayham. send petition and went in and got about 8 more minutes of time, and got the bank cleared. not enough time to finish off the sides and clear the map. only thing I didnt have to redo was the location badge.
It was like writing a program and have the computer crash just as I was about to save the last page writen. No big lost and we were able to get back to our game. -
