get better play times xD cause the servers only tend to go down for 1 hour
what time are you playing the game? Sounds like you are hitting the maintance window and if so, that really is not a game issue more like what was posted above.

You do realize that down more often than not is at least 12 hours and 1 minute a day that the servers are down, right? i have not noticed the servers being down more than not and i play mostly on Champion. In fact i would say that the servers are up much more than they are down. (Generally 22-24 hours a day.)
The standard maintenance window when the servers might shut down temporarily is 8 AM to 10 AM Eastern time. For the last several years they've usually only used it on Mondays and Fridays. It used to be almost every day.
There have been several unscheduled or very short notice emergency maintenance shutdown and restarts due to recent issues with a build, but otherwise the downtimes have generally been within the times set aside for server maintenance.

As recently as yesterday morning. That's 3x this week including regular Monday Maintenance. These were done at normal maintenance periods, ie. morning, and for no longer than usual.
I don't see what the fuss is about. With a bigger dev team now patches, updates, etc should get more frequent than they have in the past. I will never knock this because it means the game is getting bigger, stronger, better. Subjective, maybe, but that is the intent. So it's all good to me.
Now if it were server crashes on a regular basis that would be a different story.
It's not bad compared to that "Other MMO".
Their servers go down once a week for half a day.

According to the server status they are down right now... I thought it was getting really laggy (have dc'd twice tonight.) Of course, just because the server status says something doesn't mean it's true.
Anyone else notice that the server status from the official page and the status listed by Guild Portal are often the opposite and usually both are wrong lately?
Server status page on the boards is stuck on a date in June, or somesuch. There are several threads in various forums, or add-ons in posts requesting that they be fixed.
I don't care how often they go down, as long as problems are getting fixed. If they say the servers need to come down in ten minutes for emergency crashing reasons, I'm gonna believe there's something wrong (not necessarily with my experience) and just roll with it. I still get my money's worth each month, and then some.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

One can not even play for more then half an hour before evil red letters appear. Of course I can understand why server maintenance is a necessary evil, but nearly every night is a bit much.
