no i don't like the new boards.

I like stable boards. I like the ability to make my signature sexy. I'm sure the minor cosmetic stuff will get addressed in due time.
Old boards loaded nice and quick.
New boards load too slowly.

So far I don't like the new board much. But they may grow on me as I settle in. They just feel a bit alien right now, for me.
My first impression was - pretty color, but where the heck are the posts? It's gonna take a while to get used to and I'll probably get lost more often than not. I hate having to click link after link to get to the forum I want to read.
And what year do these boards think it is? I looked at my bio info and it gives the correct birthdate (year), but says I'm a year younger than I am.
Hey Meow! I'm with you in that I don't really care for the boards. Seems the devs are interested in starting new fires to distract us rather than putting out the ones that have been burning for so long we just ignore them..(HPs accolades not granting HPs, chat bugs, WW lag, AE lag, ITF lag, LGTF lag, losing a baddie in the ceiling on a kill all, holes in maps, PVP [sorry I had to go there], and now the boards)
Also the font is too small to comfortably read on the thread area. And where the the "Read all posts" on a thread option go?

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Changes take time to adjust to, give it time before deciding if you hate it.

I like the new look and the new software. The old boards looked antiquated. It seems significantly slower, but I'd rather have a loss in speed for increased functionality.
Edit: Maybe I take that back. It just took quite a long time for my post to go through

It's slow. I miss all the quick-coding buttons in making new posts(so nice when posting video links) The blue on blue on blue on shaded blue with tiny white texts kinda hurts my eyes after a bit. It's slow. The quick reply change is annoying.
Beyond all that, it seems to have lost its uniqueness. The CoH boards always had a different look from every other blocky blocks of block forums. Now it has joined the crowd.
On the bright side, you can post images in posts now.
You can post them in sigs too so be prepared for massive sig pics to overwhelm the forum.
