Really? I keep reading that Defiant is really busy but I've never soloed as much in my life on an MMO. I have various character from 5 - 45 and I've soloed 90% of the time. The only way to get a group is if you run one yourself and they typically drop after two or three missions.
sunday morning, with a friend we formed a team for GM hunt, then we went for Fake Nemesis hunt in PI, and then we did the whole new Maria Jenkins Arc... the team was always 6-8 members.
sunday afternoon, i did a LGTF and MS raid with my fortunata, and afters i finished with a Khan tf with my DP/ice blaster
all the above not with certain ppl all the time, and not sg teaming, just use of DE, globals friends, and recruiting from /sea... and all that in Defiant -
the recent news of new MMOs going F2P, when i20 will probably go live , got me thinking.....
edit; added a ''when'' before i20 -
sorry, but i really can't understand the comments about "not finding team" in defiant... there are 150-170 active ppl in DE every night and a lot new or returning that haven't discovered the DE (u can find them in Praetoria mostly")... also some private channels
whenever (and i mean any time, exept in the early hours), i want to team, i pop in a tf/sf/team organized in DE, or i start a team of my own, or i ask my globals -

I love soloing with my stalkers..... i find that the only way for me to really enjoy stalkers is solo.
i never levelled one, but i know that MM are great for soloing
also whenever i start use IO sets and working up my build at lvl 30, i found that i can solo with any AT.... -
I build and play my fort as a psi blaster with softcap and team buff (teamwork + leadership pool)
i intend to roll another fort to play with holds and knockback attacks -
I did renault wednesday, and no problem there.. all went smooth

also healing is not the most eficcient way of buffing in this game, especially in the higher lvls

Def agaisnt Romans doesn't last remember... Best thing I used against the wall was Fire/Em blaster... Aim, Bu, Boost range, Firebreath and static discharge... Cones = dead lineup.

the only farming that i enjoy is at the Cimerora walls, wich i'm doing it very fast and very effective with my AR/DEV blaster (not the usual combo for farming from the little i know)
also, i have a strong feeling that my ss/elec brute (softcap S/L) would be devastating at farming -
is anyone else has problems lggin in this sunday morning?
is there an unexpected maintance?

I did BSF twice with my blaster the last two weeks, and both times i got corruptor's temp (although the first time i expected to get MM' one too)

the one thing that kills my COX fun, is greifing attitude from some players.....
and another thing that spoils a bit of my fun (but no to the point to take a break), is the "pls let me herd" attitude of some tanks, on smoking-hot, "train-kept-a-rolling" teams -
stealthed...... mobs partially blinded....... behind caltrops...... +tohit buff always on.......with enough recharge you can have the combo flamethrower/assault rifle in the start of every mob fighting (and that means a cloud of orange 2-digits numbers above mobs) .... sure, why not?... i'd say, hell yeah

mine is DP/ice/cold blaster and i like her a lot
with stealth IO and super speed, my nuke (HoB), makes me feel like an AoE stalker.
my opinion is, that if u want to try a blast set (and not a combo), then blaster is the best choice (and more fun)
EDIT : although DP/Kin cor is a very good combo, imo , you loose the half fun of palying DP -
Lost Leaders : Port Oakes, Dockside
overseers : Tecnician Naylor (lvl 35-39) mission & Efficiency Expert Pither (lvl 45-50 mission)
Troll : till lvl 20 papers only
Fake nemesis :Grandville, Gutter (and maybe at The Fab, not so sure)
For Overseers and Trolls, a nince trip to Paragon, after August 17, will be much easier.... -
I like the idea of a new themed sg
i'd propose that the BBBB part of the name could be an in-game zone, that will be assigned from the Superleader. That way, this toon will be protector/local superhero of that zone.
the only thing that bugs me a ltl, is the "re-roll of favorite toon", cause as a fairly new player, there are a lot of powersets that i haven't tried..... but on the other hand, i can make an /AR defender happily

I can farm the cimerora walls with my softcapped Nin/Nin stalker, so... yeah they can scrap really good...
i'd suggest though, when GR hits, roll a Kin/Nin stalker to play the new powerset too, that's what i'm goin to do

join the "Defiant Events" chanell, it's the place where tf/sf and teamin is organized.
there are about 130-160 people online everyday in defiant (both sides), few more, few less (it depends) at union. -
