I can do one better. I just ran the sister psyche trial the other night. Obviously she isn't dead if she is still standing in I.P.
I figure either she will come back to life ala every comic book character who ever died or they will replace her with another hero.
My money would be on Penelope Yin to replace her as she has been made a member of the freedom phalanx now and I think I read somewhere that Statesman would be replaced by some other hero not yet chosen.

I don't know if this is possible but I think the game thinks the street justice character I made is another one of my characters.
I first noticed it when I went to Striga Isle. It was the first time I had been there with this toon and yet most of the map was uncovered. I chalked that up to the strange fog of war problem that recovers a map with fog of war as soon as I leave it.
But, I just logged into Oroborus for the first time and went to the pilgrim and he told me that I had already finished the introductory arc. I know I haven't. This was the first time I had been there on this character.
Is it possible for the game to get two of your characters confused?

Are you using the nc soft launcher? The old City of Heroes launcher is no longer supported. You have to download the NC soft launcher and use it.

If you have noticed, the game has been insanely busy since going rogue has launched. The two most populous servers are always in the red meaning they are full, the others are busier than I have seen them in years. This is a good thing, it means a lot of people are playing.
If you are having trouble logging on, just wait a few days until the new shiny wears off and things will cool down.
I have no idea how steam does things but I am pretty certain that none of the people in charge of it are on this board, if you have a complaint about steam, shouldn't you publish it somewhere like say, oh, steam?

I am having the same problem but can't even get as far as you. I haven't been able to make the new demon summoner since it came out.
I only get to the screen to choose the name and then crash every time. It has happened probably twenty times now. I send the crash report every time but haven't heard anything back.
I tried making other characters to check and the same thing happens.
I don't know what is happening. I am going to open a petition in game, suggest you do the same. Sending the crash report seems to do nothing.

Okay, it looks like I found bug number 345625677842 of the new release.
When I try to make the new demon master mind at, it does fine all through the process up until I finish with the custom colors and try to go to the screen to type the name then, it freezes up and crashes.
I have tried this four or five times now and each time I get the same results.
I thought maybe it had something to do with custom colors so I tried it without altering colors and the same thing happened.
I haven't tried making any other toon. I have to wonder if the same thing will happen. I may just be limited to the eighty or so I have now.

It is called DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SET. That is why I said I had written an arc called do not adjust your sets. I'm funny that way.

One that I did just for fun turned out to be pretty funny. It is a (mostly) loving satire of old television shows called, Do not adjust your sets.

I am working on an arc right now and I would like the first mission to have no enemies in it. I have a patrol set to friendly to say things to the player but, I am unable to set a mission with no enemies.
I am sure I have run an arc where there were a set of glowies and no enemies at all until after the glowies were collected. But, I don't seem to be able to set that. What am I doing wrong?

I was just saying, that when the other poster mentioned having to "download missions" from the MA, he may have just been referring to a similar information overload if the MA mission list loads in a similar way to the market.

Yeah. This is what I was talking about, I meant load not download. I blame the hour and the fact that I am computer illeterate.
If we have to LOAD every single mission ever created in order to use the architect I, and a lot of other people with slow machines, will be in a world of trouble.
The more I think about it though, the more I feel that there will probably be some sort of interface where you choose which missions you want to see. Like "Show me five star missions" or "Show me Dev choice missions" something like that.
That should make it better.

I have a concern about the mission architect.
I have an older machine with not a lot of memory. Normally, I am fine but I still crash occcasionally at the market.
I have read that there are like 160 arcs on the architect now, in closed beta with a relative handful of people making them. By the time it gets to live there could be thousands of arcs.
Do we have to download every arc every time we try to access it? If so, I can see my machine exploding and me being completly unable to play it.
Is there a type of filter where you can download only certain missions?

I have been looking for a home for my elec/elec blaster, angel lightning and just can't seem to find the best fit for her.
I am rather picky about sg's and would love to find one I could call home so, I decided this might be the best way to do it. I would like to have:
A fully functioning base.
Members who can play at later hours as I work nights and play after work.
An sg with a heroic sounding name. I just don't feel very heroic as a member of something called "Petes piglets" or something like that.
An sg which would offer chances to team but would also understand I like to solo a lot.
A mature sg or at least one that is populated by friendly people who don't trash talk or put down other people.
