unable to make the new demon mastermind

Okay, it looks like I found bug number 345625677842 of the new release.
When I try to make the new demon master mind at, it does fine all through the process up until I finish with the custom colors and try to go to the screen to type the name then, it freezes up and crashes.
I have tried this four or five times now and each time I get the same results.
I thought maybe it had something to do with custom colors so I tried it without altering colors and the same thing happened.
I haven't tried making any other toon. I have to wonder if the same thing will happen. I may just be limited to the eighty or so I have now.

Not much we can do for you here. You could go to the tech part of the forums, as the more tech oriented players visit there more often and might be able to help you out. You'll have to give a more detailed description of what you were doing and what your system is.

I would also say you should send a bug report so that the tech support people for the game can help you out. Posting in Player Questions is probably not the best solution for this problem.

at first i'd say you haven't pre-purchased Going Rogue.

From the official site: Issue 17 gives players who have prepurchased City of Heroes Going Rogue the opportunity to play with two of the new power sets early: Demon Summoning and Dual Pistols.

Dual Pistol was released early. and not they released Demon summoning

Hmm, it sounded to me like he was getting the option for creating DS and DP, but he was crashing further on in the creation process. I think if he hadn't prepurchased he wouldn't have gotten the option to begin with.

Correct. My husband and I (using as an example) did not pre-purchase, and DP and DS are greyed out and completely unselectable to create.

hum. I wasn't sure if people who didn't pre-purchased were still able to see the powerset or not. If they can't then please ignore my previous reply.

Nah they can see it but it's greyed out for them, or at least DP was for me before i pre-ordered it so i imagine it's the same for DS.

To the OP, i suggest you try making a different toon to see if you're still getting the same crash before submitting a bug report as it may have nothing to do with the new AT.
