Now we start spamming bug reports that the Protective Phase power causes travel suppression!
-
Quote:I, unfortunately, sold many of my PvP IOs before they tied them to rep. I remember selling a +3% def piece for 600 mil and thinking that was a lot (because, well, it was at the time). But there's no point to having massive amount of liquid cash just sitting around doing nothing.
Any of you big boys out there care to give your opinion of Filthy versus Obscenely rich? Smurphy? Bronx still around? And what about PvP Farmers. Anyone who got into purples early is probably rolling in it now. Mac?On the other hand, even some of the crappier PvP IOs now sell for that much.
To be honest, considering how I frequent the market forum I'm pretty sure I'm nowhere near "top-tier" wealthy, in terms of liquid inf at least. I maybe have 20 billion in liquid inf across both sides and all servers, probably about 2/3 of that is infamy. Now, if you start adding up value of unspent merits, enhancements currently slotted, and enhancements sitting in base bins, I'm sure it's easily three times that number - my Warshade alone is probably worth 10-15 billion (oh, the irony). In fact, I should do the math on that right now: I remember putting that build together for 400 mil or so during I13. This is the Warshade's current build, if anyone feels like doing the math for me. -
Wow, y'know, it'd be great if things like this were put in the patch notes so people could test them before they went live...
Seems like the only phase area in Siren's is inside the villain hospital, and an area between the hospital door and the helicopter (but there's a 30-foot gap between the door and where the phase area begins, rofl). There's one at the redside entrance to Bloody Bay as well, but again it's not enough area to cover the distance between the hospital and the helicopter. On the plus side, I was rezzing at full health and endurance every time. -

The Winter Lord has a ridiculous mag hold, as does Ghost Widow. The reason it would last so long is because server time starts to slow down once you get that much action happening at once (think of the third mission of the ITF and multiply that by eleventy billion).
-
Also on topic: why do the Brute, Scrapper, and Tanker versions of Fiery Embrace cause PvP travel suppression while the Dominator version doesn't? Only been bugging that since I15... >.>

Elec is the second-worst Stalker secondary, behind Dark.
-
If you're perception-capped (1153 feet on a Stalker), you won't be able to see a stealth-capped Stalker unless they're within 10 feet of you, and a stealth-capped VEAT unless they're within 273 feet of you (353 really, since VEATs can't self-cap stealth unless they've got external buffs or are running Invisibility). WP, SR, Nin, and Dark have +perception in-set so when combined with the +perception IO and Tactics you can get pretty close to the cap. (The above paragraph assumes you're a Stalker, since that wasn't quite clear from your post.)
If you're not a Stalker, the numbers would still be the same, but it would be incredibly unlikely that you'd see a stealth-capped Stalker because odds are he'll be moving and won't stay next to you that long. Best solution to prevent being AS'd is to always keep moving. Perception doesn't hurt, but it's not the simplest solution. -
Because it's been a year and a half since they "started" altering it, they haven't "continued" altering it, and there's no indication it will be altered in the forseeable future?

You cannot find one of these on the market, so you're asking here. Therefore, the red market sucks.
(LOL SEE WHAT I DID THERE!?) -
-
When you find significantly more X's blueside than redside and things are supposed to be roughly comparable, I'd say that's an indication of a problem. I could be wrong though.

Buffs and damage, with occasional debuff, I'd say.

GGs SMD. -
Quote:So you want all the shinies without any of the time or effort spent to obtain them. Gotcha.Well, to start with I don't think you should have to do TFs at all. Nor do I think one should have to play for a significant time on a daily basis to have a chance at getting them in a timely fashion. I would say that 8 hours of play should easily be enough to acquire at least one full set (that's one set, not one character's worth of sets) of any level-appropriate non-purple IOs. And that's doing any non-AE missions, not just TFs and story arcs.

Why does this thread have like 430,000 views?

It looks like we have enough interest for several teams - I've spoken with a few people who are getting teams together and also have some people saying they'll ask friends. I think I can safely say this event is a go and that there's enough interest, it's just a matter of when to start it off with the seeding tournament. I'm expecting that to take place sometime next month, likely on a Saturday evening - now would be a great time to start hunting for teammates if you haven't already, or to consider whether or not you're interested in signing up.
-
I have a feeling the seeding tournament will be on a Saturday evening, and from there teams can coordinate times for matches, though I'll best most will be on weekends anyways.

Quote:I'm honestly not sure, as I've only run the KHTF three or four times, the Eden trial maybe two times, and Tarikoss zero times, since I13 dropped. Still, it might be an interesting experiment, and maybe the devs could actually provide such data for us.I agree, but not to the same degree as the reward suffers from (whatever the proper term is that you don't get as large a reward). It may be worth the speeders time to run it once a day but (and here I am making assumptions based upon nothing tangible) it would also encourage more non-speed runs as the reward is no longer 'anaemic' as someone posted earlier. It is to be hoped that this would create a slightly better balance between the runs which are completed in a scarily fast time and those which are more sedate.
The speeders would probably still be disproportionally represented, just not AS disproportionally represented. No?
