Wasn't there an nVidia driver update released a while back that fried some cards because it accidentally disabled the fan or something? It got pulled pretty quick, but if you updated your drivers at some point that might've done it.

The problem with determining whether range is DR'd or not lies with how powers are slotted - if you've slotted range into your powers (Centrioles, range IOs, whatever), that power will certainly have a shorter range in PvP because of DR on the slotted enhancements (that's also why your heals heal for less even without heal decay). We can't assume that since the real numbers tool reports our range bonus (from set bonuses or Boost Range) as the same as in PvE, range doesn't get DR'd, because damage and recharge are two examples of cases where the real numbers tool doesn't account for DR. I think the only way to really test that is to check attack ranges with and without DR using attacks that have no slotted range enhancements.

In addition to DoTs, Hibernate (and other phase powers) fall victim to hit rolls - if a hit roll is made on your character and you hit Hibernate, the damage will arrive even when you're Hibernated.

For this event, they should spawn in Crey's Folly and Monster Island at some odd hour of the morning, just to reinforce the point that military intelligence isn't always correct.

We've done Hami raids with 18 people, and it's been done with less.
We also completed a LGTF before today's patch with only one mezzer on the team, so it's certainly possible. Bring along a few EoEs for the melees, kill the yellows and blues, kill the pylons, power through Hami (if you can), and then kill the greens. -
Virtue's really good if you want to farm for PvP IOs.

Except most Stalkers have little AoE (Elec being the only exception really), making them largely ineffective for anything except taking out single hard targets quickly.

The new market is really killing my desire to play, currently.
I haven't IOd any characters since I17 went live because I'm incredibly frustrated by the market interface - I've had to completely re-learn how to search for things and after three years of doing it the old way that's not something I'm especially willing to do. Hell, I haven't even been setting up my PvP IO farms the last few weeks, and I used to do that religiously. I don't remember the last time I logged on and did something other than stand around and talk in globals for a while before getting bored and logging. -
It's because they can't do anything to prevent the hold. Think of it as a toggle autohit cage.

No. TK now does no repel and shuts off either after six seconds or when the target takes damage. In other words, they took a power that was already really good and made stupid good provided you can leverage it.

I know ra 6-slots his kb powers with kb ios (or something silly like that) and can get through builds that would normally stay on their feet. Can also use the base buff, if you're in zone.
