New intel suggests that a Rikti Invasion is afoot. Our psychic network is detecting unusual activity in the immediate space surrounding our planet and while no visible spacecrafts can be seen, we suspect the Rikti are using a new shielding system to thwart our detection technology.

Founders' Falls and St Martial have been determined to be the most likely landing locations.

Thursday, May 13th at around 4PM Pacific Time (7PM Eastern Time) is when we expect them to land.

Be on the lookout and come prepared! We recommend you team up with high level super-entities if you want your contribution to count!

*sighs* Trust the Rikti to invade just when Agent Tavarisch is out enjoying a date with Positron. Still, once Vanguard, always Vanguard...

For this event, they should spawn in Crey's Folly and Monster Island at some odd hour of the morning, just to reinforce the point that military intelligence isn't always correct.

The more events that get set up on a tight schedule like that, the fewer I get to play because of my hours.

Hmmmm, I hope this goes on all night in those zones, since a lot of people are still at work during that time. Let's not mention that it is also prime time dinner time.

I know this would be time consuming, but I would like to see each time the Dev deciede to do an invasion that something new would be added to it, showing that the Rikti are adapting to our defense.

At times drop a Honoree, or some other Elite AV type boss. Or perhaps when the rikti teleport in, they teleport a bomb that is near explosion.

HOOOOOO that was intense.

We fought EIGHT U'Kon'Grais, waves of Rikti Priests (and I mean WAVES), armies of drones, slavering hordes of Rikti monkeys... and never mind the Heavies arriving four at a time. Healing badges, debt badges, damage badges, and Vanguard Merits in abundance.

News item: Paragon Times, 13 April 2010

All of Paragon City was shocked - although not overly surprised - at yet another attempted Rikti invasion this afternoon. What did surprise many residents of Founder's Falls, the neighborhood hit hardest by this latest incursion, was the failure of famed hero PSLAnimal to appear.

"All the girls in my sorority were out to watch for him," said Candi, 22, of the Founder's Falls branch of Paragon U. "I mean, he's the sexiest hero in Paragon City - nobody wants to miss him, right? I mean, totally!"

Our reporter on the scene recorded this comment from Statesman: "Animal may be, well, unconventional," the veteran hero said, "but I'll give him this; he can take a punch."

Calls to PSLAnimal's Kings Row apartment have not been returned. The hero's supergroup, the League of Champions, released a statement Friday morning attributing Animal's absence to "A Richter-scale hangover," and announced that he will be returning to the streets of Paragon City once the bars reopen.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

Not necessarily true. The Rikti ships aren't of interplanetary origin but that doesn't mean that they can't hide out in space. You would presume that the ships have some kind of space going capability because there's no need to build them so large for interdimensional travel.
