  1. If Robotics AI is frustrating you, be glad you didn't roll Necromancy. Give an unaggroed zombie a goto command and he might just literally run in the opposite direction.

    Best at TFs

Wait for issue 16 and roll an Earth/Cold.
  3. Something like this should work for the Plant/Kin:

    /bind KEY "pet_select_name fly$$powexec_name Speed Boost"

For the imps, I would have a key to target each imp:

    /bind numpad1 pet_select 0
    /bind numpad2 pet_select 1
    /bind numpad3 pet_select 2

and then a key for each shield:

    /bind numpad0 "powexec_name Thermal Shield"
    /bind decimal "powexec_name Plasma Shield"

    And so forth.

    What is new.

All pets are immune to recharge buffs and debuffs now. You can't affect their recharge rate in any way. This affects /Kins, /Rads, and /Storms the most.

    Hows Gravity?

All pets are now immune to recharge buffs and debuffs, so you can't boost Lightning Storm's strike rate with Hasten anymore.

The biggest change to Gravity I can think of is there are more objects on the list of things Propel can shoot.

Damage is the last stand, the hardest hurdle to overcome that makes some AVs/GMs simply not killable. As always I like to be proven wrong, show me an ill/rad who has killed Diabolique or a DE Monster with no temps/insps (just to mention a couple)

Does Jurassik count as a DE Monster?
  7. Brother Glacier (lvl 43 Cold/Ice def) for team one please.

    /Storm help plz

Gale - you have to take it. It has lower than normal accuracy, so you might be tempted to slot a second Acc in it, but it's honestly not a very useful power and you can probably make better use of that second slot elsewhere.

O2 Boost - Rather weak heal with some bonus effects. Won't make you a "healer" by any stretch, but it can still come in handy. Less useful on a Grav than with other primaries, because Singularity is immune to healing. Slot for Heal and End Red.

Snow Storm - Autohit slow toggle, can bring flying enemies to the ground. Two End Reds is all it needs.

Steamy Mist - Take it for the stealth. Combined with Super Speed or a stealth IO, it lets you set up Wormhole pulls safely. Start with two End Red, then add Resistance if you like. Good place to slot unique and global inventions because it takes both defense and resistance sets.

Freezing Rain - Absolutely key power, take it immediately and use it as often as possible. Three Recharge so it's up as often as possible, consider adding an End Red as well.

Hurricane - Another key power for Grav/Storm, it's all about keeping the bad guys trapped in a corner, especially after you put them there with Wormhole. Two End Red to start, 1-3 To-Hit Debuff to finish.

Thunder Clap - Great for stacking stun mag with Wormhole to affect bosses. Two Acc to start, add Stun and Recharge as you see fit.

Tornado - A bit less useful on a Grav than with some other primaries (Grav's immobilizes don't stop knockback, unlike Earth, Fire, and Ice, but its holds do). Still well worth taking even if you only use it to buy some time when things go wrong. Slot for Damage, Recharge, and End Red.

Lightning Storm - Great source of damage, especially when enemies are bunched close together. As with Hurricane, go for Damage, Recharge, and End Red. LS is a good candidate for frankenslotting.
  9. City Vault, a proposed feature that ran into technical snags and is now shelved/on the back burner. They kind of jumped the gun on adding options for it to the game.

I know that you are in BG mode if the icons are in defensive, follow. I have had people say that defensive goto and defensive stay also works although I know you have to pay some attention to distance between you and your pets (BG mode only works on pets who aren't to far from you but I don't remember the range) but I have also had some posters claim only defensive follow puts you in BG mode. I haven't actually seen proof one way or the other about that (i.e in game numbers).

    [/ QUOTE ]
The pets have to be in Supremacy range for BG mode to work. Supremacy's radius is 60 feet, the same as Leadership buffs. I show pet buffs using the triangle on the side of the pet window and then Hide Autopowers so the icons don't take up the whole screen. This hides the Supremacy icon, but since Assault/Tactics/Maneuvers cover the same area, they'll tell you when pets are in range just as well. For Thugs, the Enforcers' leadership buffs can confuse the issue, but I rarely have any Thugs but the Bruiser out of follow mode anyway.
  11. A pet is in bodyguard when it is in defensive/follow, defensive/goto, or defensive/stay and within Supremacy range. You can edit the pet aggressive thingy to make it enable bodyguard, yes.

No, it doesn't work anymore. Recent changes prevented all recharge from affect pet powers.

I've scanned the patch notes but can't find any changes relating to pet recharge. Can you point me to the patch note that indicates the change? Thanks!

    Third bullet point here:

    [ QUOTE ]
Recharge times on pet attack powers will no longer be affected by any outside source. This includes buffs and debuffs. What this means is that pets can no longer have the recharge time on their powers increased by player buffs (like Speed Boost) or their recharge time decreased by player or NPC debuffs. This change was made to allow pets to correctly cycle through their attacks instead of getting locked on using the same attack over and over and neglecting to use other available powers.

  13. I still want to roll Force Field with opaque bubbles.
  14. Heliotrope Cataclysm (lvl 47 Warshade) for team one please.
  15. I just use "/targetcustomnext enemy defeated" for easy corpse targeting. Bind it to whatever key is convenient and you're good to go.
  16. If you think Gravity Distortion Field is amazing, wait until you see Wormhole!

Standard slotting for an AOE hold is 2 Acc, 2 Rech, 2 Hold.
  17. After 100 seconds, 500 meters from the reactor.
  18. Brother Glacier (Cold/Ice def) for team one please.
  19. It's too bad the icon for that badge can't be a bloodstained happy face.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
no, they have 75% to-hit same as you.

    [/ QUOTE ]
That's my point, my 75% base to-hit drops to 56% against a +2 (to me) enemy, and an even-con (to me) enemy is +2 to my tier-one henchmen. Are you saying pets are immune to the purple patch?
  21. Don't tier 1 pets start at 56% to-hit because they spawn two levels below your character?
  22. I'd recommend swapping Snow Storm and Stone Cages in a leveling build. Don't underestimate the damage mitigation that Snow Storm plus Quicksand can provide early on. Pre-Stamina, the endurance cost of Stone Cages is prohibitive, so I see little point in taking it so early.

I also ended up dropping Hurricane in favor of O2 Boost. Animate Stone is a tough pet, but he can still use a heal now and then, and I never really felt the need to push enemies around when I could always drop EQ, FR, VG, and/or QS on them wherever they happened to be.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
Necro pets can't do any petsays, either.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Actually, Grave Knights and Lich still work. Issue 15 broke petsay only for tier 1 Zombies.
  24. On activation and every ten seconds thereafter, and it can affect every enemy in range of the debuff, not just the anchor.
