Invincible Quaterfield Task Force - Sat Aug 1st

Freedom Phalanx is entrusting us with some of the most serious tasks imaginable. The Shadow Shard is downright dangerous, though there are aspects to this dimensional plane that are awe inspiring. Unfortunately, exploration teams have gone missing, and we've been asked to investigate the cause of these disappearances. We'll begin by thinning out the numbers of the strange Rularuu creatures, then proceed to Point Foxtrot where the last science team sent their distress call from.

Saturday August 1st 1:00pm EST (12 noon CST) (10:00am PST)
Meet at Portal Corporation monument in Peregrine Island
The range requirement is 40-44, with those above exemplared down to 44 automatically

1. Johnny Taxibot (team lead) - lvl 50 Elec/Energy blaster

2. Mystery_Inc >> M'on (lvl 50 Fire/Regen scrapper)

3. Doctor_A_Science >> Doctor A Science III (lvl 50 energy/device blaster)

4. mscats >> Natural Elements (plant/thermal) -or- Delila Hazard (assault/device blaster) -or- D'ark Defender (dark/dark defender)

Notes:

1. This is a task force challenge series, where both teams will seek a reasonably high difficulty level, depending upon the team composition.
   
2. We do not generally speed run these adventures, though we do seek to make good time and enjoy being in the story.
   
3. When doing a higher level challenge, the team lead needs to be in the zone before anyone enters the mission. Otherwise, the mission difficulty will default back to Heroic.
   
4. For team composition, the suggestion is to have 1-2 tankers, and 2-3 blasters for AoE crowd control. However, we will not blindly attempt a difficulty that is beyond the team makeup. When unsure, we begin at Tenacious and gradually increase the difficulty.
   
5. For Teams Two and Three, it is asked that there be a tanker for each team to provide good aggro management.
   
6. The Shadow Shard task forces are the longest set of missions in the city, and we'll be doing these in a single sitting with an [u]hour break for supper[u]. From experience, eating supper helps to maintain a good team mood. Including supper, this task force should take seven hours.

Hrm. As much as I dread the length of this TF... I should get that badge!

I'm not sure if Orion Energy has this badge or not, if he does, I'll bring Taxibot REBIRTH along.

So, same deal as last week. Orion's a Level 50 Energy/Energy/Force Blaster, and Rebirth's a level 41 Full Suport Empath.

Lets see what social occasion will make me cancel this time! (..Well, hopefully not.)

I have a few level-appropriate alts who would like to do this. One is a plant/thermal (Natural Elements,) Another is an assault/device blaster (Delila Hazard,) and the third is a dark/dark defender (D'ark Defender.) Icy fought hard for this tf, even cheated to get it, then decided that since she's above the level cap and would not get any xp, she backed out. What a pain she can be.

It feels like work to me... do I get pay for this too?? I get pay $20 an hour

I've checked with both my Parents and Orion's badge count. He does have Dr. Q's TF. I'll be bringing Taxibot REBIRTH for sure then. I might have plans on Saturday, but they're tenative. I'll know for sure if I'll be busy before Saturday though, so I'll try to keep you posted.

Hi everyone!

My apologies for any inconvenience. We're postponing the Quaterfield task force by ONE WEEK.

Mainly, the forums being down interfered with our team signups, so best to just start fresh. In addition, double-xp weekend is currently underway, and no doubt that people would like the flexibility of trying different adventures, rather than a potentially long Quaterfield task force.

FYI, come out at 1:00pm EST anyway. Chelle will be organizing an ITF, and I think some other taxis will be helping out as well.

I will be there with either Taxibot Icy (level 43) or Scrappy Brat (level 48,) whichever toon would fit in level-wise. I also have alts who are under 40 if they would be more appropriate.
