Oh, absolutely! I gotta find out if Wal-Mart has those pumpkins, too, since there isn't a Michael's nearby and with me living in a dorm room, I'm pretty sure foam is the way to go this year.

Damn it, Steelclaw, now I'll never get my homework done!
Illumineer, my level 26 Ill/Rad troller, science origin, with rocket-boots-based flight:
Fighting 7
Agility 8
Strength 6
Endurance 28
Reason 29
Intuition 26
Psyche 25
Ouch. Time to go do this for my 50s.
Eldrix the Blackbird, level 50 spellcasting Grav/En/Soul dom:
Fighting: 32
Agility: 57
Strength: 25
Endurance: 45
Reason: 39
Intuition: 50
Psyche: 132 (YEAHHH MAGIC DOMINATORS!)
EDIT: I wanted to do this for my Widow but I can't, because a) the entire Widow Teamwork secondary has been mysteriously left out of the Intuition category, and b) why is Tactical Training: Assault worth less Psyche than the Leadership pool version, and Tactical Training: Maneuvers worth none at all?
Also, shouldn't any Natural-origin characters whose powers are psychic in nature get a bonus to Intuition? -

I broke out Photoshop on the Ghost Widow wallpaper from the main site - grayscaled it, upped the contrast so it was pretty much plain black and white, and touched up a few bits with the brush tool to make it more pumpkin-friendly. It's still slightly rough but so far it seems like it'll look pretty good! The small gray bits are areas where the pumpkin isn't carved all the way through, to allow structural integrity.

Toons that had the Fitness pool before the announcement continue to be played as normal until I19 release day.
Toons that were too low to have Fitness before the announcement (read: Anything up to the mid-teens) are skipping it and popping blues until I19 comes around. That way I don't have to take the time to respec them.
My Widow, who has dual builds, will be respecced once before I19 and once at I19's release. Until release day, I'll continue to play on the not-respecced-yet-and-still-has-stamina build (probably Night Widow). -
I gotta get me some of those... pumpkin carving is one of my favorite things too! I've made a Ghost Widow design that I want to carve this year... need some proper tools though, it's hella complicated.

MENDERS. Friggin' MENDERS. Okay, I know the back detail that Tesseract has is probably unfeasable with current tech, but everything else works, right? The belts from the Martial Arts pack prove that belt-slot items can be tied to the upper leg bones, and the leg detail that Menders use appears to be part of the belts they wear. And c'mon, Ouroboros is a joinable faction! If Vanguard lets us unlock their outfits, why not give us the ability to make us some real Mender costumes?

I agree. Hell, if I had a fictional-character-crush on anyone from this game it's probably Nemesis, so yeah, I REALLY want him to secretly be one of the good guys in my silly romantic fangirl head.

Quote:Unfortunately the tech available to players won't cut it for most of that costume. The loincloth falls under the forbidden-to-players Two Cape Systems rule (it has both front and back), and the top and gloves each have three colors (white, green, and skin) which would mean that one of those colors would have to either be nixed or made non-customizable. However, the boots, non-loinclothed belt, and chest detail brooch thing would all work fine, and I would dearly love to have them.*drool* LOVE those boots! And the belt and I would love to have the loin cloth!
One other thing, I like the new gladiator shoulder pad EXCEPT the texture. It doesn't go well with my sleek costumes. Please either bring back the old one or at least give us a sleek texture (or metallic even) for the new one. Also, I think someone else mentioned this but, shouldn't the gladiator pad be on the other shoulder for a right-handed fighter? (i.e. to protect the shoulder and neck above the gladiator's shield.)
Oh, and I totally agree and bringing back the old thigh high boots. -
Probably more like "OH GOD MY EYES I CANT SEE BUT I AM STILL GOING TO FIGHT" followed by a "DAMN IT MAN IT'S ME, SHOOT THE HERO NOT ME" followed by a "SHUT UP YOU LYING MURKY BLOB I KNOW YOU ARE THE HERO" *BANG BANG BANG*

I'd call my Singularity "Gravitic Lens Effect" if I could. Of course, for the full effect, I'd have to be able to give the Grav/Rad troller in question a really fluffy black costume to match it, since the idea is that it'd just be a second perception of himself, because he's a black hole... literally a Singularity himself, behind the event horizon he visually shapes to be humanoid.

The paper's finished and handed in, and the posts here confirmed what I suspected: Among gamers who are dedicated enough to post in forums, there's virtually no difference between male and female in terms of playstyle and preferences. Wish me luck gradewise!

I use Glycerine to send data to CIT, but it stopped working... HeroStats doesn't work either. Is anyone else having this problem?

Quote:That is beautifully twisted! I love it!These are my favorite of my efforts:
Assisted Afterlife (dual blades/willpower brute)
Emilio Sandiego was only 8 years old when his grandfather asked him to kill him. The old man was in the final, agonizing stages of a terminal illness. He was bedridden and reliant upon life support to keep him breathing. He had begged his son to pull the plug but Emilio's father had refused and argued with the doctors to try stronger pain medication. When his grandfather asked him to set him free, Emilio listened, hearing the beloved old man's desperation and desire to be released from the pain of life. Emilio agreed then watched in fascination as the doctors and nurses scurried like ants to reverse what he had done. But all in vain; death had been triumphant and his grandfather's expression was one of peace. From that moment on Emilio found his life's work; to free as many as he could from the pain of life... to assist them as he had his grandfather. -
All right, my paper is rapidly coming together, thanks in a large part to you guys' wonderful cooperation. Thank you all for the help and kind wishes!

I want some helper NPCs named Biggs, Wedge, and Piett in an Ouroboros-related arc. They should all be identical. It's not like the Enclave isn't a giant reference to Chrono Trigger already or anything... and besides, SquareSoft janked those names from Star Wars to begin with.

Quote:This almost killed one of my favorite characters. Took me a few days to think of an alternative name to "Adam Smasher" on Virtue but I lucked out big time. I can't believe Atomsmash was free. This is more or less how I proceed the majority of the time. Had the name "Black Mass" been available on Freedom (yes, I understand the odds) there would have been a new Grav/Earth dom with a religious-/priest-based background/look made solely because of the name/concept. Alas...
PS I almost typed "free" as "freem" without even thinking. Derp. -
But how did he become the hero he is today? Or villain, as the case may or may not be?

One of my favorites that I've seen on someone else is on Rose Veldt, one of Jophiel's characters - Rose is a big game hunter who became legit by registering as a hero to help with Paragon City's giant monster problems.
My favorite of mine is my radioactive-themed Stone/Energy tank, Atomsmash. He used to be /SS, and named Fissure Strike, until a Terra Volta trial went so terribly awry that he accidentally respecced into a whole new secondary (and origin! Mutant became Science). Oh, and I have the name Fissure Strike too... because in Praetoria, there is no Terra Volta.
You? -

Speaking of proliferation and the secondaries of Masterminds and Defenders, why don't Defs get Thermal? I hope it's only another case of "Yeah we just didn't get around to it yet."
