Personally, i'd love a bank. Heck, why not use the safe in the base? It's IS a vault afterall. Most vaults i see in banks have money in them. I don't understand the previous posts about the inf, those situations dont make sense. It's a heroes job, yes, BUT the game offers a way to train your toons and those ways cost INFLUENCE. I have dual accounts so inf transfers are no problem for me, but i'd hate to trust someone in this game to transfer, say, 400mil inf or better if i only had 1 account. Or a set of purples.

Server mergers i dont see happening. If someone creates a toon, walks into Atlas and don't see anyone and keeps the toons and levels them, then i don't think they can complain about a low population. Best advice i can think of is to intro yourself and ask in broadcast if its a low or high population server. If it for some reason was high, and everyone left then just pay 10 bux and go somewhere else. (after doing a pop. research)

I made that post because it was based on the OP post. Not one from you, Conflict. But thanks for disecting my post on YOUR views and not facts. How PvP keeps the bills paid? In comparison, do a search while in game and see how many people are in a zone, then look at RV, SC, or any of the others. Doubtful the numbers are the same. And it's not all about RP'ing either.

I can very esily get a -kb recipe but it does nothing to being debuffed, held, or flattened by an "uber" toon. Yes, it's about having fun, i agree but noone looks to go to a pvp zone to make multiple trips to the hospital or being ganked (which is what i see mostly in my experience anyway).

I'm not a pvp hater, but a realist.

I am curious why pvp recipes have dual bonuses tho. With having a 2nd build available now, why not just have pve and pvp recipes for a dual build?

What issue was pvp intro'd? How many bills got paid BEFORE pvp was introduced? I see many more faces in PvE content than when i go to RV. I've NEVER seen 200 people in RV.

Normal content is fun when you get a few people that know how to play and run through a toon. There are MANY types of toons to create and if they are played and not PL'D to 50, then alot of fun can be had. Some may live for PvP but not everyone does. There is no way to play everything possible in this game in a weekend to theose posters.

I've went in pvp zones a few times but without a billion dollar build, you can't just go in and enjoy yourself on a SO toon. While i'm not saying a SO build should be able to hang with one IO'd with purps, not everyone likes to take the time(or may not play enough to have the inf needed) to build their toons to a perfect PvP build. Not everyone can play enough to afford the pieces to create a pvp build, so they stick with their SO's and enjoy the other part of the game.

So, it's prolly a better pve build than pvp. I'm enjoying so far in pve. We'll see.

I think pvp recipes should be common if pvp is to get any better. Having a pvp recipe drop less frequent than purps cant be good for getting people more into pvp.

If i'm not mistaken, wiki says some pvp recipes drop in pve. Well, i've gotten 6-7 purps this week and alot of other stuff and no pvp recipes. If it only drops in pvp, i think the drop rate should be pretty high due to the lack of people in pvp zones.

I personally don't pvp, but if i did, i'd want to be able to have an opportunity to get them to drop.

I pvp'd a /cold once and my attacks recharge were so debuffed that i couldnt attack if i wanted to so all i could do was stand there. Elec may not be the best paired with it, tho. Time will tell i guess. Recharge shouldnt be a problem, im getting purps while i pl her.

I agree, OP. My Ice blaster gots no love on the color schemes. I just made all my attacks white. At least is actually looks like ice.

I feel like ANY color other than clear, would be subject to "jewel" tones since the ice in my freezer is clear. Also, during the winter months here, the freezing rain and icicles are clear, too. So, with that said, i feel like if we can color it one color that we should be able to have any color. My 2 cents.

1) I am currently working on a Cold/Elec Def. Any thoughts on this build for PvP? Cold seems to have nice debuffs and i know Electric may not be damage heavy but i was hoping with the endurance draining and debuffing, it may be a nice combo.
2) If anyone has a build for Cold, could you share because i'm new to the set? Thanks in advance.

I love my Ice/Rad for TF's and AV hunting.
I love my Fire/Kin to make inf on my BM farm.
I love the look of Plant.
I love love teaming with my Fire/Storm and/or Ill/Storm. (must know how to play /Storm though)

I just had one of mine reinstated about 3 weeks ago and he was deleted for a few months.

3) approx. time of deletion. ( i didn't even know mine, just a few months back)

That's all i do. I don't care to "play the market". I just sell or craft and sell the drops i get and i'm over 2 bil with not 1 flip. Now to PL my Cold Dom/Elec Defender and "hook him up". lol.

No, -0 is at 50. -1 is at 49 if you got the mish when you hit 50. I run my BM farm at -0 and they are all 50's. I do it 15 min and have to sell my recipes after every 1.5 runs. Salvage usually fills on 1.5 runs as well. I get a purp every 4-5 runs. Hecta fell last night.

On a side note. Why does my wifes account get all my purp drops? I dual box and she's gotten 5 of the last 6 since last week. Devs hate me or the star holder?

Could prolly be around 2 if i sold all those enhancements. Hoping an alt can use 'em one day.

Agreed. I have gotten a purp off of a 47 in PI on the street. I also have a demon farm set at 49's and have gotten 1 respec and 1 purp. I have a BM set to 8 at +0 and have gotten 3 purps off of. All since I16.

Cool replies, thoughts. I've never got the 6th because im not sure of anything i fight that does toxic. Maybe a spines toon but i rarely pvp and i dont see alot of PP at 50.

As far as game changing, i'd think a purpd out toon is pretty much game changing when compared to a toon using SO's. Especially in pvp and farming. 5x 10%rech is pretty significant. lol.

I just wondered why acc and rech were the main BIG %'s. Because rech already has a 7.5% unique and several 6.25% and 5%. There'a also an acc boost in Kismet. You can soft cap, but at the expense of getting other powers if you have to get CJ, Tough, Weave or other toggles when you could get powers that you actually want and just get some recipes for the boosts.

I said 15% because those are the %'s of the purples atm. 10 and 15.

The end of your post is exactly what i said in the 2nd paragraph. lol. I would love to 6 slot if the 6th bonus was better. Alot of them say Toxic resist. Why so many Toxic resists?

From what i've read, the main reasons for using purple recipes is mainly for the +acc and +rech. Recharge mainly my guess for stuff like perma Hasten, AM, PA and blaster's novas.

I was curious if we would want new purple recipes that offer other big %'s like say 10% def or resist for tanks or anyone else that would rather have more def than rech, or 10% more damage for damage happy toons or maybe 15% end red. (i'd love that one btw. lol)

Why is rech and acc the only big %'s offered in most purple sets? Some toons, like dark sets, would benefit GREATLY from a big endurance reducing purple set.

Just become a major farmer with 2 or 3 accounts like the others (and myself) who have many purps or play WW (unlike myself). Playing the content isnt goin to help much, imo. I've ran plenty of ITF's and other high end TF's and missions and have never had 1 purp drop. I HAVE farmed my BM map over the past several days and have had 3 drop. (all on wifes account, btw) That, my friend, is the answer to purples.

A fire/kin and fire/rad is a 2 account awesome farm combo imo. Set to 8, +0, so they're all 50's and blaze thru a map in like 15 minutes. Full salvage in 2 runs and almost full recipes in 2 runs. I'm getting a purp on every 5 runs or so.

DOOOOM... lol. Let's break the market with many, many low prices.

Yup, and i'm trying to help the situation by farming for hours and listing all salvage for 1 inf. I'll make my inf buy selling some of the purps i'm getting falling from the skies above! 3 in 4 days so far.
