  1. Good thing i got my elec control to 50 within the first week so i dont have to worry bout stupid stuff like this.

    Typo'd price?

is that the 100mil buy on the 7mil recipe? i think someone meant to bid 10mil... lol. cant remember what it was but i seen it earlier.
  3. I have a fully IO'd spines/fire. It doesnt really impress me. Against Demons, it does good but other than that, blah, imo.

I'd go with the DM/Inv. Of your choices. Or SD/Mace for the other of yours. Im working on one of those atm. May want to try an Ice tank. I don't see many of those. Im gonna go with Ice/Kin melee after the SD, just to try it out. SnL and NRG are looking easy to cap.
  4. Just stop collecting inf? Easy....

    So we have two options:

    1. There are none for sale.
    2. There are a couple, but they're more expensive than most people are willing to pay.

Those are the only two possible states the market can be in. I prefer the second, because it means I have a choice.
Assuming only purples are the only thing with 0 on hand. BUT IT'S NOT. Is everything supposed to be rare? Don't think so, hence the 0 equals sucky drop rates.....

Stuff like that is pretty easy to price because there are usually 0 for sale.
My Rule of Zero says anything with 0 for sale is underpriced, so just list higher than the highest price in the 'last 5'. If you're in a hurry, list for a few million more. If you don't mind waiting for a bigger profit, double or triple the highest price. Buyer impatience has trumped my ridiculous markup in every instance so far.
My theory of 0 for sale means the drop rate is too low.
  7. Im not either. Just saying that some people that really dont have alot of inf may go that route rather than trying to save up 3bill for 1 set of purples. x5 sets if they want it to equal around, say, 15bil at the current buy it now prices.

3 After he had slain Another Fan, which dwelt in Heshbon, and eryq2 the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:
4 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Black Market, for it hath mergeth, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Luddites, and unto Cap, unto the great river, the river of inf.
5 Behold, I have set the recipes before you: go in and possess the IOs which Statesman sware unto your fathers, peterpeter, Fulmens, and Cap'n Canadian, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
6 The LORD your Smurphy hath multiplied your inf, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitudes of inf.
7 (The LORD Smurphy of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)
8 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your supergroups, and I will make them super leader over you.
9 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
10 So I took the Superleader of your SG, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over billions and officers among your SGs.
11 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every recipe and its crafted IO, and the gap between how they are priced.
    12 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the common salvage as well as the great pool Cs;
13 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
14 Behold, the LORD thy Smurphy hath set the inf before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged by that which didn't sell.
15 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will flip salvage before us, and they shall search us out the drop rate, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what is most profitable of the rolls.
16 And the saying pleased Smurphy: and he took twelve market slots, one for each tribe.
17 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good market which the LORD Smurphy doth give us.
18 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies. But flip and craft and sell.
19 So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill speaking of the prohibitive cost of items.
20 And ye returned and wept before the LORD; the marketears of the downtrodden, but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.
Id rather you leave my name out of your mouth. Ive yet to be slain by anyone. BUT, at least you named me a KING of something.

    What ultra rare isnt desirable?

Every purple except the damage and chance fors (not including sleep/confuse) is 250-500mil each last 5 sold, atm. That makes A-Merits look very tempting to alot of people. Even more when you can pick what you want and not have luck/bad luck drops.

Me, im still killing things for mine. Seems alot faster than tips, and less expensive than WW.

But besides that I have never really taken to AE. I have tried it many times and I like regular content better. I like running around in the world. I tried Fulmen's Bronze roll selection and while it was ok, there was so much crap to wade through and since I don't always know what's good I had to look everything up on the market. That took me a lot longer than running tips. But whatever works!
Ah, thats why i use 2 pc's. lol. I wouldnt dare try it on one. Or at least my one.

As far as AE, i run a BM replica of the PI farm. If you dont like the bronze ones, try level 25-29 silver. I get a ton, i mean ton, of Kinetic Combats, Numinas, Touch of Deaths. At 35-39 silver, i get alot of Posis, Miracles, Oblits.

If i do the bronze, i do 10-14. There, i get a good bit of Steadfast uniques. I have about 5 or 6 crafted in a bin and sold 4 since monday. I also recieve the Regeneration proc in that same level.

But as you know, a roll is all in the luck of the draw. Ive just found that i can make more doing that than the occasional purple drop. Mainly due to the Kin Coms and uniques from the rolls.
  11. Id like to apologize in here, too. The post by Misaligned is spot on. I do this. lol. Pay a few grand more for something just to not wait until i log back in to get it. Ive been farming AE so much lately and have seen HUGE differences in prices for the recipes and the crafted forms. Its almost silly. I had a recipe selling for like 15mil-30mil and crafted was hitting close to 80. Im glad i get Kin Coms and Numinas everyday to sell off.

If people choose to go that high, its on them. (i wont, lol) My wife was even saying that she should buy 10 recipes and craft them for the higher prices. I laughed so hard. She's an ebil flipper! Who knew?!?! lol.

What erks me more than anything isnt the flipping but the trying to corner the market and force higher prices. That's the greedy that i refer to in my previous posts. Just because it hurts everyone that likes to IO toons' gameplay. I doubt everyone that IO's toon also loves market pvp.

Anyways, sorry all for having a difference in opinions and playstyles. To each their own.
  12. Are those rolls any different than AE rolls? If not, then just get tickets and roll. Same theory, lock a toon at that level. I run 2 accounts (was 3). I can cap 1500 tix per run x2-3 toons. 1 run = 15 min. That's 4500 tickets every 15min. 1 rolled bronze, 1 silver, 1 gold. No waiting days for rolls. Assuming youre running more than one account.
  13. I have a toon stopped at 35. I also dont try to corner the market and look for niches and all that. I dont enjoy it at all. However, i do like to sell. lol. It all depends on what the recipe is in your case.

The good stuff sells just as high on the lower levels as it does on the higher levels, and often more. Example from tuesday.

I rolled a level 23 Kin/Com Dam/End on a toon im pl'ing. There was 1 sold in the history. It sold for 50mil crafted, 30 uncrafted. I listed it for 50,000,001. It sold for 75mil.

So, if it were me, id just look at the other levels and post it for something in the general ballpark. Lower doesnt always equal less.

Same here. I guess im just a tight wad. If im not mistaken there were up to 30 purples for sell before GR went live. Now back to 2-3. Seems folks were nervous and wanted to sell in case the prices dropped, now it seems their hording again. Blah.
  15. 5bill to hit the top 100 what?
  16. LOL, sucks for those that actually want the purps to slot. By the sound of it, most just look to raise the value so they can sell for more. I reallly don't understand the mentality of it. What good is all that inf? Really, not flaming, just asking? Just to build it up, then what?
  17. KK, my bad. I didnt know it gave % for 2 attacks. I never used, i just know it was wanted by alot of people as is Kin Coms.

    /Inv scrapper

Im in the process of leveling a DM/Inv. In mids i have the snl resist at 69.5% and snl defense in the mid 30's. I know the caps are 75 and 45. With the numbers i currently have, will that be tough enough? For what, i don't know. lol. Just want a tuff butt scrapper.
  19. I have a 50 kat/regen IO'd. He's nice. My cousin made a kat/inv, she's really nice. Not sure if you can go wrong with kat/anything though.
  20. 150 mil maybe for sleeps. The damage ones are up to 600mil. Im not paying those rates either OP, lol. Ill wait until they are "reasonable" again. Of course that rate varies depending on what peeps wanna pay. I wont be one though. lol. Back to pharming i go....
  21. With the "fix" that took place with BotZ, will the same happen to Kin Coms? I mean, 3 vs 4 and the same %'s, what do ya think?

  23. That's the reason i list 99% of my stuff for 222. It sells fast, and im off to get more goodies. I really wish i had to patience to craft them though, i'd make soooo much more. lol. Wife crafted hers and made about 200mil where i would have made like 20mil just for the recipes. I called her ebil and she laffed. lol.
