so i am trying the trial of city of heroes for the last few days now and i like to give my opinion for so far from my experience. Since i'm not convinced yet if i should buy this game or not.

pro's:
- Sweet graphics and enviroment
- Nice fast gameplay
- really a unique character creation (lots of fun)
- not the same old mmo you expect if you played other mmo's

con's:
- not really a storyline when you enter the game, you begin
and just doing some quests to level
- it's sometimes pretty confusing where i should go for contact
persons
- since i don't have flying yet the traveling is a pain and boring
- from my experience not really much ai with the enemy's and
see always the same on the streets. gangs standing by each
other or criminals are robbing a women from there purse or
break in to something. not much variation to that.

So this is my list from pro's and con's which i experienced for the last couple of days. I know i can't form a opinion from only playing a few days. but maybe i am seeing the con's wrong and you can convince me otherwise. Cause i am willing to give this game a serieous try since i think it can be alot of fun. but i'm not convinced yet .

what level must you be to fly and do you need the hovering skill before you can get flying?

well, i'm trying dual blades scrapper now, does those dual blades also get some nice looking powers?

I am looking for a good starting character to get a good impression of the game with.

I tried scrapper with claws, but that started getting boring pretty fast. Now i am looking for a fun combination to begin with. Help me out here please.

so i'm level 4 now and my first contact can't give me any more missions, and the second contact he pointed me to is in another zone. And it looks like i can't travel out of my zone yet. Is it normal that you can only do a few missions in the first zone or am i missing something?

some quick questions.

1- how do you combine enhancements again?
2- there is no auto attack or what so ever in the game? only attacks are with powers?
3- you can only attack when you stand still and target the enemy? no fighting while you jump for instance?

also had trouble with contacting people, when i chat with someone, it didn't came up in my chat window somehow. anyway, i am gonna use up my trial period and then i make a descision if i gonna keep playing the game.

ok guys, i read all your posts and i have to apologize by forming this fast a opinion. I have to remove my wow experience and i will continue to give this game a chance.

now i tried city of heroes and i must say i'm not excited about it. the gameplay is not what i expected and the combat system is slow and not really impressive.

When i compare the gameplay to world of warcraft it's not even close. I didn't come further then a few levels, then i got bored by the game.

sorry to say this to the people that love the game

ah oke,

so that you can't customize your character with new armor pieces for example doesn't bother you? the game offers enough alternations to stay fun?

And what server you play on? maybe you can show me around abit since i'm checking the game out next week with the 14 day trial .

I'm a new player to city of heroes and i like to know if the game is any good? can it keep me going for the next few years. I come from World of Warcraft and it was too much work to keep everything up to date, gear wise.
So tell me the pros and cons from the game and if you could suggest me the game.
