That has crossed my mind several times GG, as well as being able to cut and paste map sections in an effort to make a custom base (the council/5th Column bases really come to mind as either customizable bits or just using the map out right).

The other thought that crossed my mind would be to introduce base plots that are 3D so that multi-level bases are possible. Plots would specify the total number of squares that a base can occupy and the builder could slice and stack that volume with in the parameters of the editior and instead of having a room system like we have now, just let the builder place items where they see fit and feature systems that allow the base designer to connect them together (sorta like laying out the plumbing and electrical systems in home design software).

Another thing I thought would be really cool instead of the entrance teleporter would be to designate a door in the game some place as your entrance.

All this is moot I suppose unless the devs can find some way to make bases an interesting and/or intergal feature. I like je_saist's idea bout merging AE and SG systems.

I'm sorta onboard with this, except I enjoy Craig every bit as much as Connery. I could forget about every other Bond though.

No, I didn't care for them and another thing I didn't care for was the over the top had to out do the last Bond movie gadget scenes and stunts. Thats part of what made Casino Royale so refreshing to me.

I guess, I've always heard the unedited version on the radio... sigh... oh the glory days of FM99 WNOR when it seemed less corporate radio dominated.

Your not alone, I usually get one half to two thirds of what my other taskforce mates typically get.

Well at least its in line with the family motto: Murphy was an optimist.

If your soloing bosses (IIRC) Marcian they will drop for every 150 or so defeated so make sure they are turned on in any event.

I kinda wish you could buy them at the Cauldron or Fort Trident, it takes two days to get an alignment merit and sometimes I dont see a shard drop for the same amount of time so why not?
  10. Mids baby, Mids! Otherwise I tend to look at the globals and figure out what I want to do.

I got a few like that, my fav so far is one slotted into tactics IIRC and its a chance for build-up when tactics is active I get a continual 5% chance for build up every few seconds my next fav is probably a chance for negative energy damage in brawl - Silly I know for the last one, but its come in handy a few times when the proc goes off and I get a surprise sucker punch out of it
  11. Meh, I'd change it so that the gladiator unlocks would allow you to purchase that creatue for influence then modify bases so you could raid your opponents base with the gladiators and your opponent could likewise unlock and purchase gladiators to use as defenders. Once the battle has been joined allow the SG members to come in and assit thier respective gladiators.

This is just off the top of my head so thats about all the thought I've put into it.

One useless system finding a use for another useless system.

  13. Indeed Super, I hope you guys pull through okay and lost lives are at the very minimum.

This reminds me of when Hurricane Isabelle hit some years ago in SEVa and we had a particularly bad storm surge come through which led to alot of property damage and loss of life.

    Keep safe!

  16. Tip missions are hard? I've made the transition from hero to villian back to hero again. They've all been pretty fun and somewhat challenging (never thought I'd be saying that as a blaster).

That idea has merit, well at least how I'm imagining it.

speaking of the editor though, I wish they would do away with purchasing individual rooms and allow easy accurate XYZ placement of objects.

I can't believe you were so bold to as to even mention the idea... the nerve of some people.
