for all the people jumping on the OP about complex code and whatnot, how many of you actually write programs? it seems to me that the OP actually does understand that these things happen and fixes don't happen in a day or easily. what he's pointing out is a legit issue.
the devs are big boys (and girls) and they know their code base, no matter how complex it is. trotting out the, "it's so complex!", argument is, to my mind, an insult to the devs' abilities as developers. it says, "I think the devs are too incompetent, lazy, or stupid to fix problems in code they've been maintaining for years and/or they're above such trivial things as bug fixes or documenting known bugs."
I don't agree that MA problems mean there's now somehow "less" game, but don't discount the actual issue he's having for nonsensical reasons. it isn't unreasonable to expect the devs to be able to make a list of costume pieces that break the MA. it also isn't unreasonable to suggest that maybe those pieces should be fixed, or failing that removed as options in the MA custom character creator. that's a logical conclusion.
I will say that no one here knows how feasible that suggestion is, but that doesn't make it an unreasonable or bad suggestion. maybe the costume creators for MA and general character creation are inexorably linked and you can't change things in one without affecting the other, but that's not really our responsibility as players to know. he's giving his opinion and feedback in a generally reasonable way, which is something I can respect even thought I don't care at all about making custom MA arcs. -
totally "for great justice"
street justice. I'm calling it as well. -
Quote:thanks for the better fix, that will be really helpful. at least now I won't have to drop in the middle of teams briefly when it happens coming back from the hospitalI've had the exact same issue. The only temporary fix I've found (and made support aware of) is to open your graphics options, and move the Shadow Quality slider down to 0 and back to where you would normally have it. Temporary fix as you will end up having to do this every time, but it's better than a full client restart which I was doing as well initially :S
You don't need to hit apply, just move the slider and close the options again.

ever since I21, there seems to be a small chance that my framerate will drop extremely low when I leave a shop/hospital/other building. it looks like 2 FPS or something similarly low, the entire game is a slideshow. while this is happening, input seems to lag heavily, but I'm not sure if that's just the framerate or what.
if I go back inside, the issue goes away until I go outside again. /reloadgfx does nothing. the only fix I have found is simply restarting the game. there's no set of specific doors that do this, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. under normal circustances I have very nice FPS in the same areas. I haven't measured it but I'd guess my normal FPS to be 60+. graphics are on ultra with just about everything maxed.
I looked through this section to see if anyone else had this issue, but I see no posts on it, so I figured I'd make one myself.
some system specs for reference
cpu: core i7 3.6GHz
ram: 16Gb
graphics: 2x nvidia GTX580 in SLI
OS: windows 7 ultimate 64bit
driver version: 280.26 ( this is the most recent as far as I know)
anyone else had this happen to them? -
you can find out more about the blood of the black stream and how it realtes to CCGs in the upcoming novel, the Web of Arachnos!

well if this is true, I think I'll be like prestige contributor #1 for my SG. as far as I can remeber, I've had my SG colors on pretty much 24/7 for like months.
what can I say, I liked my head being consumed by white flames =] -

4. Yes, I'm still worried about Super Reflexes being a tad gimped. We're watching it.
5. Yes, we'll do trenchcoats - not in Update 3, but soon after.

I really think he meant to, and not for >_> I'm pretty sure he wasn't american and viewed something being "gone to the americans" as being ruined.

I remember CoT portal missions being good exp.
I remember fulcrum shift double buffing
I remember using said fulcrum shift in said CoT portal mission to max out my entire party's buff bars and the ensuing comments ;P -

Skills is in Issue 5...
Issue 4 revolves around the Arenas (now under construction)....

that's kinda dissapointing. =/ here I was sorta geeked about skills in I4. now I guess I have to keep waiting. please say there's more than just the arenas ; ; -
ok, I'll give you that they've mentioned it, but it's pretty obvious that they have not even come close to promising anything. just talking about something internally is far from a promise, it means that they've thought about it. so I still wouldn't hold my breath on it.
-
as far as I know I've never seen the devs say anything about either of those. I know I've seen threads asking for/suggesting them, but I haven't seen a dev even say "we'll think about it". so don't hold your breath =/

only release date I ever saw was "sometimes in 2005". and september 9, 2005 sounds like it's on target then.
-
you realize that you can still do that right? if you can see a valid surface to TP to, you can do it. that hasn't changed. I only see them fixing stuff so that only what SHOULD be valid, really is. what's between you and your valid destination does not, did not, and will not matter. ever.

getting between the trees in perez is so easy now, you can do it with just sprint in some places. in almost all others fly or superjump (maybe combat jumping, but not sure) is all you need. and the enemies do not teleport into wierd places like between walls. so yeah, this is a bigfix. you shouldn't be able to warp under the map and all that, despite how fun it is.

I'd just like to point out that there's no way in hell anyone could divine "what the players want" because what one person wants is probably in direct opposition to what another wants. you just can't do it.
you know there WAS a game that tried to give the palyers what they wanted. it was called "dawn" and it NEVER EVEN GOT MADE.
