Quote:you're probably right. And yes, I realize it's not likely to happen since "Somebody will not like it, therefore it won't be done" but I'm suggesting it nonetheless.
I like Oni. He's ugly as hell, and I think he should look more demon-ish, but there's nothing wrong with his powers. He's a fire/fire blaster (paragonwiki says dominator but i disagree where he only has the one control move that fire blasters have), he has the AoE that DB/ simply would not be able to match up to. He gives a different damage type to your ninjas other than lethal, which your DB/ replacement would just add more of. His ring of fire keeps runners from running, and he's awesome when smoke bomb is applied. OH, and he lights up my OSA, and that's awesome.
If anything made different about ninjas, I'd like to see the third genin be a KM/ user for some diversity, like how thugs get an arosonist and mercs get a suicidal medic.
Maybe the jounins could be one NB/ Stalker and one DB/ Stalker, that would be cool too. -
Quote:Maybe cole's under the mental control of Hamidon? would you take back your words if that were the case? That's possible - although he might have not intended it to get so out of control.
He might have worked with Hamidon when he was still a human, and not realized he's turned into the Hamidon monster until they had their little psychic joining.
There's a bit of a gap in Tyrant's bio between him being hit by the nuke and presumed dead, and then him reappearing again just as the DE began to attack when he could have been up to all kinds of stuff -
you'll be fine. Make sure to check out the window reflections as you fly/jump/run by, it's pretty pimp.

Has any MMO even pulled this mechanic off yet? I think it would be the best "first to do it" since the awesome costume creator.
-
/signed, love it.
Just pictured a rain of fire combined with a tornado, sweeeeet. -
nice! I was just listening to them on my MP3 player on my break.
-
that would be hilarious. no zone event message or anything, just a rampaging bot.
Rularuu though, I've seen pics of him for a while now. He was never put in game to be fought before? If there's a TF that pits your team against him I've never seen it. -
Quote:LOL, parent's intuition eh?I had to zoom in to get a closer look.
Hmm, definitely a case of diaper dermatitis. I recommend a simple cleansing with water & a soft cloth followed by frequent applications of either patroleum jelly or zinc oxide to provide an effective barrier against skin irritants & lessen friction to irritated skin.
It appears the sufferer is unconscious so you may need to do all of the above yourself, Healix.
Good luck. -
Quote:oh baby, I've been waiting to fight that guy!The giant mek-men most recently exposed were a targeting test, I think by Synapse, might have been Castle. One of the power guys / UI guys pet projects is getting the "mass targeting" working so things like Rularuu the Ravager can be made playable: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/File:CoH_Size_Chart.jpg
I don't think, from an official viewpoint, that we've ever been "teased" with fighting a gigantic Council / Column critter outside of Hess's Task Force in Striga. -

So that's why they writhe around like that, poor fella must have an infection.

ooooOOOOoohhh, ok.
energy aura might actually work better since it's got more defense to work with Parry. Plus it's also got the same conserve power/endurance drain powers that /ElA has too.
/EnA has that repulse move too, good for a hasty escape if necessary. -
Terrible for Brutes? I don't think so, but it depends one what's hitting you. It has a weakness to Negative energy, but in the 30's you can withstand rikti ship beams while invasions are going on.
anyway, as far as Stalkers go, /ElA would definitely help speed up BS/ a bit on the recharge, also BS/ is heavy on endurance so Power sink and energize would help with that. The only thing that irks me about it is that BS/ has Parry which helps out your defense, but /ElA is a resistance-based set. Other than that it looks good. -
All that's been said is that the fitness pool will be inherited at lvl 2, same as ninja run at lvl 4, mission TP at lvl 3, etc. No detail other than that.
-
guess somebody wanted to make their crushing Impact IO's pretty badly!
-
Quote:really? I find Council to be statues made of butter compared to a horde of Succuubi and mages.Speaking about enemy difficulty, Circle of Thorn is the weakest past lvl 40 for some reasons. CoT starts out strong (probably the strongest) and it's nasty with whole bunch of ghosts and a Mage with force field and earth control powers. The Earth mage era is also very nasty but after earth mage, the whole CoT group becomes the easiest to maul through. Maybe it's because both Carnies and Malta are harder which makes CoT easier..it seems.

Quote:Ayup! Techbot was always the loudest in the crowd about the 1-20 grind. Aside from being happy about the change, I'm also pretty happy for him.New players don't have the vet attacks.
Also, not having to pick the three fitness powers isn't gonna suddenly make everyone able to solo lvl 54 Hero class Statesman. It just means that 1-22 won't be a suck-trip that lacks endurance, so people can actaully get on and do what they should be doing; enjoying the game. -

I don't even bother with AS on teams. I wouldn't want to waste precious crit chances aiming an AS at a dead body. Opening up with an AoE, assuming you have one, is good, especially when you see 3 or 4 crits happen as a result. (<3 burst!)
