Test complete.
Sent myself 100 inf from a hero.
Villain could read the email but not claim the inf.
Logged another hero in and was able to claim the inf.
Guessing that the OP just experienced a random bug with the email system. -
I ran a test yesterday and sent some Halloween Salvage to myself from one of my villains.
I logged in a hero. The email was there with the attachment, but I could not claim it, since it came from a villain.
I logged in a villain after that. The email was still there, and the villain was able to claim the salvage. Could it be a problem with just sending inf?
Guess I could email myself a small sum and see if it gets lost.
Also, it is not possible to accidentally delete an email with an attachment. As long as there is an attachment, where the Delete button should be is a button that says Return instead. Once the item is claimed though, then the button reverts back to Delete. -
Try leveling up an alt to 20 and see if that unlocks them for you?

Most likely a team size issue. I just took my level 37 Defender out and had her take down a level 39 Riot Guard. My SG got 19 prestige for that one.
I am going to take a wild guess and say that had she been on a full team, that would have been only 2 or 3 prestige, if prestige gets divided evenly among the team. -
On my GeForce 6600FX, I found that if I have Shader Quality on any of the three lowest settings, my framerate plummets. Actually setting Shader Quality to medium or high fixed this.

The entrance to Cimerora is severely bugged.
Upon entering the zone, there is a high probability of ending up stuck underneath the crystal and partially in the ground. /stuck does not free you and neither does logging out and back in.
Exiting from Cimerora also has a probability of a similar but slightly less severe version of the bug. You end up stuck under the crystal, but turning in random directions while running will eventually free you. -
Although this seems very counterintuitive as a fix, making sure your shader quality is set yo medium or high seems to get rid of the jerkiness. I was getting this problem on any of the 3 lowest shader quality settings. Go figure.
To quote Micheal Dorn in the old Neutragina commercials... "It works." -
Ah, memories. Back during my plasma selling days, you could do it twice a week, and they paid a flat $15 per visit. Most memorable moment was my first time at the Plasma Center in Oklahoma City...

I did appreciate the offer. Had it came a bit earlier, I would have taken you up on it. Unfortunately, I was starting to feel a bit too wiped out by that time, and was ready for a good long sleep.
I did have better luck tonight, thanks to being tipped off about another global channel (privately run). The team had a short run, but at least there was enough of us to get those Overseers in the mission I had been trying all this time to build a team for.
Now to head over to blueside and see if my bubbler can get on a team (preferably for Faultline and the Midnighter arc). -
When fighting Terrible Wind, do not stand behind him.

I was definitely not up to forming and managing my own team last night. In fact, I have to be in very rare form before I would even consider doing so. So since I was not forming a team, and was looking to join a team instead, blindly sending tells to people in the search list would have not been appropriate behavior.
And to top it off, it was doubtful that I would have been able to build a full team even if I had wanted to give it a go, since there were only a very few others who were also looking for a team (judging by the silence on the global channels). And come to think of it, most of those were blueside anyway. -
I really thought VU2010 and Virtue LFG Alpha would be the most suitable channels on Virtue for being able to get on a team. I was apparently wrong. Both those channels seemed almost completely dead tonight. And here I thought Virtue was one of those servers where anyone can easily get on a team at any time.
2 hours of not adventuring later, my Dom (level 38) was absolutely unable to get on any teams. BTW, what is a suitable wait period between broadcasts? I think I was waiting anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes, which seemed reasonable to me.
Are there any other global channels on Virtue that are better suited for finding teams? I would really like to avoid any repeats of tonight, preferring to spend my time in game actually running missions instead of standing around trying to get on a team (totally bored with soloing). -
And if you are playing most types of squishy characters, Combat Jumping is pretty much mandatory, unless you like being immobilized in place throughout most of your career.
-
You could always level that character up, then when you want to haunt DA, start an Oro arc in the appropriate level range. That will exemp you down and you can then hunt to your heart's content (as well as having more powers available to you since you now get powers up to 5 levels above the level you are exemped to).

I only wish they would fix Frostfire's cutscene back to how it originally was. It really loses any effect it may have had when his lackey doesn't get frozen in a block of ice like he used to. As far as cutscenes go, it was rather weak and simple (yeah simple), but that little exchange between Frosty and his goon at least made it amusing.

Quote:The Candy Man will also release upon Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, these Big, Lecherous Lollipops that will stalk you everywhere you go (sorta like aggroed Clockwork, only more persistent and immune to drones and the market kill zones).* New mission arc with the boss The Candy Man. He has hit you with his wicked Diabetes Device. Now you must somehow make it through the Candy Castle without going into Insulin Shock! Doom never tasted so good!

Quote:Can someone please dig up that screenshot of the exchange between Nemesis and Lady Gray with the Mastermind's zombies in the background making lewd Statler and Waldorfish quips?Cutscene comments are best when they're accidental. The best one I ever saw had a player levelling just as we reached Rommy, and just as he shouts, "I AM NICTUS!!!", the text bubble of someone responding to the corruptor levelling pops up:
"gratz"
We just about teamwiped because we were howling with laughter at the coincidence of it.

Quote:I think you have it backwards. It goes: last accessed first, and then lowest to highest population.Oh boy aren't you lost
Do this: run the game, enter you password, and click on a really low pop server (like Pinnacle or Triumph - I'm not bashing on the servers). Then at the character selection screen, return to the server screen. So if you logged in to Pinnacle and came back to the server selection screen, Pinnacle will be #1 and then the rest will be ordered by population. So you'll see something like this:
Pinnacle
Freedom
Virtue
Justice
Infinity
Pinnacle
.
.
.
.
Infinity
Justice
Virtue
Freedom
I think they do it that way to give the lower population servers a better chance at getting more players. -
Thanks for the info. Got set up almost an hour ago now. Still have had no luck getting on a team though, unfortunately. Most of the chatter seems to be just that, general chatter about whatever.
Guess I'll give it another hour tops, then call it a night, or switch to an alt that is capable of soloing most types of missions (most likely the former actually, since I am bored with soloing). -

[VU2010]You do not have permission to send messages to channel 'VU2010'
Now what? If I can't post to the channel, how do I find a team there? -
I have since found two global channels on Virtue that looked promising. But so far, they both seem pretty dead after all (one is simply called Virtue; the other is Virtue LFG Alpha).
I was hoping to join a team (just not feeling up to forming and leading my own teams lately) this evening for my Dominator there, to get him some help on This arc. But so far, no luck. Looks like I may just have to outlevel the arc and complete it solo then, since I highly doubt I would be able to take on either Infernal (that is the mission I am on now) or Lilitu myself. If that Wailer EB I failed to take down in the Johnny Sonata arc was any indication (I had to drop that mission), then there is no way my Dom would be able to solo these. I'm sure they are a whole lot tougher than that Wailer, and my inspiration tray is not big enough to outlast either Infernal or Lilitu. -
Quote:Rad-Bit requests a Clockwork Winder as a back detail.More than anything, I'd really like to see extra back options. A jetpack that has variable Sky Raider or Longbow visuals, etc.
That would complete him.

Well, I don't know any of the global channels. And even then, if the search results show not looking for team, I am going to take that to mean not looking for team.
