Take it. It's good DPS, and on big teams you should have the support to survive any additional aggro it generates (Which, to be honest, will hardly be worse than tossing Fireball/Flamethrower/Energy Torrent/etc into the crowd).

Solo, it's good DPS and you don't have to worry about Aggro, since everything is attacking you anyway.

You're kidding. What is she, like 29 now?

I thought she just turned 5. *Snicker*

Almost. =) I started playing this game in June of '04 when I was.. <drumroll> 29. 35 today. Officially a cougar in training! Rawr! <assembles more Dropship raid teams with 20 year old gamer boys>

wouldn't that be cool... I can see my video card catching on fire with 2 CC's, 3 tornados, 2 lightning storms, huricane, freezing rain, and snow storm on an 8 man spawn.

[/ QUOTE ]

Even better is to cast CC against a foe with CC. Each vine of yours spawns a vine of theirs which spawns a vine of yours which spawns a vine of theirs...

Et Cetera,
4. NRG is good for ST, but it certainly isn't better than Elec (though the gap is closer now). Build Up is the big difference, IMO.

Between Fire and Elec, I'd say Fire for Ranged and Elec for melee. With NRG coming up close in both categories.
5. AFAIK, all the other procs should carry down just like Positron's.
6. Psst, Antimatter is Temporal. You won't win your argument with him.
7. Hrm, some cool places I've been:

The underground Council base in the RWZ.
The Developer's Prison in Grandville.
The Developer's Lounge in Faultline.
The central distribution room in the Sewers.
And the Rikti War mausoleum in Dark Astoria.
8. Ice/Ice is horrendously End intensive in the low levels. Arctic Air and ISC are the main culprits, so if your friend watches his usage of those powers he should do better. AA in particular can usually be put off until after stamina, as long as you spam the heck out of Shiver.
9. I use these:

numpad1 "unselect$$teamselect 1"
numpad2 "unselect$$teamselect 2"
numpad3 "unselect$$teamselect 3"
numpad4 "unselect$$teamselect 4"
numpad5 "unselect$$teamselect 5"
numpad6 "unselect$$teamselect 6"
numpad7 "unselect$$teamselect 7"
numpad8 "unselect$$teamselect 8"
numpad9 "unselect$$targetcustomnext mypet <petnamehere>"

divide "powexecname Ice Shield"
multiply "powexecname Glacial Shield"
subtract "powexecname Frostwork"
10. Fortunatas, Night Widows, and Bane Spiders all get extra mez protection (IIRC). It's somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 or 8 points.

Come to think of it, a /Cold Mastermind would be KILLER

[/ QUOTE ]

I made a Necro/Cold AV in the Architect once...

It was the worst thing I have ever faced. Shields, tohit debuffs, fears, sleet, benumb, heals on all the pets. The thing wiped me repeatedly.

Thus, I want one.

The next order of business would be to conduct the “open trial,” as Technis had phrased it

[Huh, I thought everyone had forgotten about that. Suppose I'd better start putting it together then]

Doms!

Psst, he was asking about PvP.

Although that is still solid info about Grav.
15. Weatherby Goode

Doms!

I hear Grav/Elec is good. Grav because of the slows and knockup and Elec because of Build-Up and gratuitous amounts of ST damage. I'm not a big PvPer though, so this is mostly second hand info.
16. And Morbus is always looking for test subjects!

Don't worry, she has a very good success rate (usually )

I was thinking toga

That or maybe you were thinking about the loincloth type outfit Candy Lebeaux was wearing. I've personally wanted pretty much every costume item she's wearing for my characters for years now.

[/ QUOTE ]

The Cimeroran Sybils have a nice variation on that too.
18. It's ok. Not great, but ok.

The damage got a small buff, and the range got a pretty good buff (from 8ft to 15ft).
19. When a post gets deleted, all posts that thread off from that post get deleted as well. If you think a post may contain questyionable content, don't reply to it. Reply to the OP instead.
20. Bats/Tarps all the way, though my Thugs/Pain is a close second.
21. A change that reduces the power of a very small minority and increases the power of a very large majority is generally considered a good change. I think it is you, Ditsy, who does not get it.

It's always sad to see someone leave due to outside circumstances.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well......no....not neccesarily....

What if you won the Powerball and are going to travel the world?

[/ QUOTE ]

A powerful laptop and some sort of satellite internet connection.

Kinetic Armor

This is almost a carbon copy of Energy Aura, which we already have.
24. Every Control set has a bread-and-butter AoE power that is up very often. Always open with that, and then player blaster.

If you have a Boss to deal with, either Levitate, Lift, Mesmerize, Earthquake, Ice Slick, Carrion Creepers, or your pet can be used to negate it. Also, since Domination doesn't need to be used for damage, you can save it for boss fights to lock them down in one hit.

Really though, you are just experiencing one of Gravity's faults. You don't have your bread-and-butter power yet. Once you get Wormhole things will improve.
25. Monsters (like Lattice/Quarry/Stropharia) are actually AV class enemies, so yeah, you can solo them with the right build.
