Why Are Posts Being Deleted With No Explanation?

Just wondering why posts keep getting deleted on this forum. I just had another stricken from the Thanks for the Buffs thread. And all I said was I didn't notice a huge difference and I'm waiting to see what will happen in another couple weeks?

It wasn't flaming, it was on topic, it didn't use curse words, it didn't call out the devs.

I guess the 5th Column really is back and they're censoring this forum.

Please buff Ice Control.

When a post gets deleted, all posts that thread off from that post get deleted as well. If you think a post may contain questyionable content, don't reply to it. Reply to the OP instead.

My question: How long do you all think you can keep this up and still keep a healthy number of subscribers?

I just went back over a few threads to try and ascertain the reason for this thread. I can't believe the balls of the mods and devs in this game.

[/ QUOTE ]The greater point is that it's against the forum rules to comment on moderator action - so if you want an answer, ask a mod in private, don't warhgbl about it on the forums in public.

However if they are stealth modding the forums and not posting a response saying that a comment was deleted for content as well as all subsiquent responses to it, then how do you KNOW its a mod issue and not a forum is broken issue?

[/ QUOTE ]Good reason to ask a mod, far as I can see.

Why? So they can further stealth delete posts with no explaination or notification? No thank you.

Sometimes posts that are downstream from a violation get removed as well as the offending post. The posts in question were removed because something that they replied to was in violation. There is no conspiracy, just ordinary forum moderation.

It's always best not to reply to posts that are in violation. Because if we have to remove the section (for one reason or another) your post will go too.

And commenting on moderator action definitely is against the forum rules (because we can't discuss why anything specifically was removed, as that would be a violation of the privacy of those who had something removed). If you have comment about it send me a pm.

If you are using Latin in your post you are probably trolling
