  2. I asked Snow Globe if he thought this should have a thread, and he told me to go ahead and start it.

    Basically, the accolade power the Crey CBX-9 Pistol (Stolen Immobilizer Ray for villains) is awful. It's basically Chilblain, a level 1 power for Blasters, Controllers, and Dominators, but slotted for damage. Unfortunately, it has the same 25-minute recharge as other accolade clicks, which is frankly ridiculous because it's nowhere near as potent as them.

    Some people will tell you that it's just fine as it is. Why they do that is beyond me, since it's not fine, it's virtually useless as it is. It's not a powerful attack, doing less damage than the Veteran attacks (even the 54 month reward versions which don't give bonuses based on origin), and immobilize is not a very effective control. It's, in fact, the only immobilize power which isn't permanent on even-cons, even the AoE ones. It's a really disappointing accolade, and you're not going to get it by accident, you have to actively try to get it.

    Basically, the recharge should be about 30 seconds at most, not 25 minutes.

  6. I don't know how long this has been going on, but in every single mission I've run since I14 went live that wasn't an AE mission, the hostages have been calling me Rescuer, instead of my character's name.
  7. Really? No TP powers? You've got an aura, that means you're over level 30, high enough to get into Ouroboros. No O-Portal? You say you've played for over 5 years, and the Base TP power is a 2 year Vet reward, don't you have that?

  9. A lot of recipe and salvage drops aren't going on the market right now, which makes it hard to get your hands on them. How about making it so that if a player sells a recipe to a vendor, that recipe still goes on that market, at a price determined by some algorithm that takes into account the item's price trends but that I can't be arsed to come up with. This would greatly improve the availability of most items. Now obviously, most of those items don't make it to market because there's no market for them (Who wants a level 10 Adrenal Adjustment recipe? Really?) so these seller-less recipes would have to be purged occasionally.
  10. Bosses start spawning with 7 teammates, or 6 if you play on challenge levels 2 or 4. If you want smaller teams to see your bosses, you have to put in optional Boss objectives.
  11. Why don't you type something instead of leaving it blank? People are probably gonna mark you down for leaving default descriptions anyway.
  12. ...you should be able to do in your SG base. Make an architect mission? There should be a base object for that. Make or join a PvP match? There should be a base object for that. Change your costume? Base object. Change your difficulty? Base object. Sell junk? Base object. Turn in merits? Base object. Etc., etc. More use for our bases is good.
  13. Here's another idea: give the Marksmen a new power. This power does nothing for the Marksman, but all nearby Marksmen have their slows reverse-power boosted (as in, they get weaker). This way, when you have multiple Marksmen nearby, their slows get weaker and weaker. A sort of "Law of Conservation of Ninjitsu" for Marksmen's cryo rounds.

  15. Destructible objects in Mayhem missions are always a static level. But when you encounter those same objects in another other missions, they're always the same level as the mission. This is stupid. There's no reason my level 50 Super Strength tanker should be unable to destroy a wooden box in one punch. Those objects should cap at the levels they appear as in Mayhem missions. Ones that don't appear in Mayhem missions will also have caps applied.

    Okay, maybe that's a little extreme. I won't deny that in some instances you'd want to have destructible objects take SOME effort to destroy. Still, nine times out of ten, it's just pointless padding on the play time.

    I find it sad that you would complain about marksmen of all things. Prehaps the Vahz tranq darts from the beginning being annoying? Besides I'm sure theres plenty of harder stuff that slows you down. (But then again I might be playing MA too much)

    Only Vahz Lts get those tranq darts. I shouldn't have to explain that Lieutenants are much less common than minions, or that Vahz cap out at 20 while Council stick around til 50.

  18. Yes, but not until two weeks after the game tells you rent is due.
  19. ...and just increase the amount of time before upkeep is due by another two weeks. Right now, nothing bad happens if you wait two weeks after your rent is supposedly due, and doing so lengthens the amount of time until your next billing cycle, so most savvy players won't pay their rent until 2 weeks after they were "supposed" to. This is a QoL change so that we don't have to log in, see that "Your SG owes money by X date" and have to think, "Okay, when do I REALLY need to pay the rent?"

    Frankly, if you use Defeat All, there's no need for other objectives, since they'll all be completed in the course of defeating all the enemies (except for glowies of course).
