One person's perspective is not exactly the same as saying everyones perspective. You may not like the body change but others do like it. The stat's on both FON and Surge of Power are near identical so I guess your not missing out on anything by staying on Force Mastery if that is your goal.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Change for Change's sake is bad.
For every person who hates an effect, you'll find a person who loves the effect. I personally love all the powers that use the very effect you don't like (Power Surge/Surge of Power, Cloak of Darkness/Shadow Cloak, etc).
My favorite costume on my Warshade is Shadow Cloak + Heavy Sparkles aura. He's like a mini nebula with twinkling stars.

Elec mastery does give you more than just an 'Oh shi-' power. A hold, A damage cone, a long timer PBAoE Stun and -regen. (In addition to the shield resisting the 3 most common damage types in the game, and SoP capping S/L and Energy.)
And yeah, I figured there'd be a lot of people that wouldn't want it to change. xD
I'm wondering if they could change this to something else. Because just turning into a Cap-au-grimlin is just simply silly. Couldn't they have it look like full body eletricity without removing the character model? (This is the ONLY reason why I still take Force mastery and FoN over this pool.)
