I also hate the new tutorial. You learn almost nothing, you just run straight through, and the final fight is very tedious.

Has anyone figured out the cooldown time? I bought $100 twice friday at 10pm or so and got blocked for the third purchase. I tried again at 930 am the next morning but was blocked. Tried again sunday mid-afternoon. No luck. I have my card set to the $400 limit so at thos point its just a timer. Should I wait until tuesday? Wednesday? Anyone know? I think failing resets the timer so I want to play it safe.
Also, does my credit card paragon points limit interact with my billing? I also bought $50 twice so I have used $300 of $400 but I buy access in blocks and one of my accounts comes due for the year this month. So that will push past my $400 if subscription amount is not counted separately.
So I am worried if I can pay, simply because they may not let me.
If I put a different card in, do I get a new pool of $400 for a limit on that card, or do multiple cards share the same dollar limit? Is there a forum or official rep for billing and game interaction stuff?

OK. I'm stupid. I remember what I spent money on. It came at some crazy time of the night. I had to rename a character. Forgot all about it.
I elaborate on my stupidity so that others will know that, at least in my case, NC Soft is *not* randomly eating my points.
I do wish the transactions were more up to date, however.

Every time I tab out and then tab back in, the graphics go crazy and I'm basically screwed. Usually this takes the form of a blank screen, or a crazy flashing/flickering screen on which nothing is drawn. I can still hear my character in the game with ambient sounds and stuff going on around me but I am boned, pan fried, and served at that point. That forces me to do apple-alt-esc (or since I use a windows kbd its win-alt-esc anyway) to kill the process and restart the app.
Anyone else been having this issue since I21? It never happened prior to that.

Well, thats a crappy interface. The last things logged in it are from 2 days ago when I bought some bonus points. None of the point I *did* spend show up (chronologically) after that. Maybe in 2 days they will? However, I dont know how useful it will be, since it doesnt actually list what I bought, just the amount. I guess I can at least, in 2 days, see whether or not my main account actually spend 800 more by comparing patterns, since I carefully bought the same things on both as I went along.
Makes me nervous to spend any more on the store. Basically, NCSoft just ate $10 and I wonder if it will eat any of the rest. Guess I might avoid spending my remaining points, just until I see what the history says.
I heard rumor also of some slash command that lists what I've bought or micro-transactions. Or is that nonsense?

All,
I have 2 accounts on which, as far as I know, I've made the exact same purchase of points, and they had the same amount of points on them prior to buying some, and I made a checklist and bought the exact same things on them. And as of yesterday, and even earlier today, they both showed the exact same points (4630). However as of an hour or two ago, I noticed that one of them only shows that I have 3830 left. I dont recall buying anything for 800 points (the difference).
I cant find any way in the store to see my transaction history, or in my master account. Is there a way?

The Enhancement increases are a wee bit steep, but now I have 30 places to put IOs when doing a respec. So ... was barely worth it.
The other storage increase options, like recipes, salvage, auctionhouse increases and vault size increases, are a total ripoff. Like, at least double what they should be. I'd say triple. 10 bucks (800 pp) for +5 recipes? Even tho its on all characters, its still nuts. Now if it were 250 for +5, then I'd be up for it.

I love the set too. Get it while it's hot. The Celestial Beam Rifle looks killer!
Anyway, I think the Tier 9 VIP items are going to be cycled out, and possibly back in again, and then out again later. I bet that at *some* point it ends up on the normal store, but not after its done some time doing its Tier 9 VIP duty.

I am certain I didn't hit that limit. I've hit it before. When you get that error, instead of the Account Management telling me that NCSoft limits the number of transactions, you get an error with no details telling you they couldn't proceed. This wasn't one of those.
Oh well. I will just try again tomorrow and if that doesn't work, go from there.

I wanted to purchase 100 bucks of the new paragon points each on my 3 accounts, you know, just to do it up proper and give the system a go. Well, I used my credit card on 2 of the accounts but on the 3rd I keep getting a message about a limit for online purchases.
Now, I know COH has a limit of $400 for the month (because I set it up that way) but I've only hit $200. However, last night I could only make 2 purchases (as I mention above) but the third I was told I'd hit a limit. So I figured that since today was the next calendar day, I could make another purchase today. Or is there an actual 24 hour limit? Or is there some other snag. I also tried using a different card, but they still seemed to be limiting me in the same way, so its not locked down to just any one credit card, whatever the limit is.
This really is irritating. You'd think NCSoft would *want* my money. Oh well.
Can anyone confirm or deny how the limits work on credit cards? In terms of number of transactions per day, etc?
Also, if I make $300 in purchases on my card and then one of my accounts has its yearly billing renew this month (and it does) and I buy the full year, that'd make me go over the $400. Will that prevent my billing from happening? Or are these independent? Or can I switch to another credit card? Or does that $400/month limit apply to all transactions, and not simply on a per-card bases?

I was all anxious to text my friends that I21 was live and they could play but then I remembered this was just the head start. -

Even with the 4th page of character slots, I have more builds that I expect to make than I will have room for on my home server. Therefore, I will prob transfer all my "50 but bored with them" characters there. At least then I know/hope that forum regulars I chat with, but am never able to play with, may have a presence there.

I still dont quite understand the OP but I do have several characters I grew bored with that I might move to the VIP server just to have an alternate server where I know most other serious (vip) players will have characters.

I dont want basic gameplay to change overall. Quality of Life changes are ok. New content is ok so long as fundamental behavior in the game isnt changed or superceeded. I do like things that are different, and when I want that, I play a different game.

SS/EA brute.
Plant/Storm controller.
Fire/Energy dominator.
Earth/Fire dominator.
Storm/Energy defender.
Gravity/Fire dominator.
Probably in that order.

I have a couple of builds here. I only have the Mids Data conveniently accessible, but I see the OP has Mids, so I'll post them.
The first one is a slightly more expensive build, but the LOTG and the 2 Basilisk Gaze sets and the Miracle are absolutely optional. Also, since you could do tips for those recipes, it is still not that bad. The only item that is costly that you need to hit the soft cap would be the 4 kinetic combats. This build is the build i eventually morphed my dirt cheap build into once I had a bit of spare cash from farming. But compared to most builds I see people post, its still affordable, esp if you do tips.
The second one is a super super dirt CHEAP build which does not have Cinders, but it is a lot more affordable. I did lots of farming on that build. You don't need any more recharge than that, and it is soft capped.
Anyway, keep in mind that a Fire/Kin/Stone can farm well on the dirt cheap. You dont need a ton of recharge. Frankly, you dont need any defense, tho if you have no defense, you spend a lot more time healing and have more issues opening on groups. But I highly recommend my super dirt cheap.
Don't spend money on your farm build; MAKE money on your farm build, and spend it somewhere else.
Again, sorry that I only have the raw data chunks. I use Macs, and my Mids is on another computer right now. I just happened to have these chunks in a convenient place.

I dont have any builds handy (I am browsing on my mobile) but I suggest that you make a cheap build. You shouldnt need to spend any serious money to softcap s/l defense and get a wee bit of recharge. Fire/kin/stone. Done.

For me, it would be Local Man, Mental Maden, and Enantiodromos. Edit: and Amy Amp. (knew I was forgetting someome). Not so much for guides or anything like that, but just for being sounding boards over the years on which I could bounce ideas and refine preferences.
