Under advanced story goals, there is an "add Ally" option.
I think you can set the guards to "none." so they will start helping you the moment you come in range.
Be sure to change the behavior of the ally in the "settings" option if they are not behaving as you want.

Nope, the blue bar will get shorter as you level up, but that's because the patrol XP is a smaller percentage of your XP to next level.

Without giving out spoilers, and keeping in mind how Parallel Worlds work in the CoH universe (a much greater range of differences between worlds, and fewer 'omg they're just like us but coin flips have opposite outcomes!'), it seems to be that it would be VERY unlikely that Preatorian Earth suffered a Rikti Invasion, let alone even got the attention of the Rikti.

Changes to badges: (<-- see begin with 'C', that mean "cookie!")

1) Dev's Choice: You will only be eligible for Dev’s choice if you have never described the Positron Task Force as “boring,” “too long,” or “like being poked in the eye with 5 different screwdrivers that were all the same exact size so there would be no relief even in variety.” We will be checking chat logs for this. Also, you will have to have described something as “R Type,” at least 5 different times. Again, we will be checking chat logs.

2) Hall of Fame: We will now implement a program that automatically one-stars people when they hit hall of fame as a QoL for the losers^H^H^H^H^Hucky people that feel compelled to do this.

3) Living Legend series: This will be based on the number of consecutive times a player plays your arc without changing his underwear. We foresee no problem with this.

4) Bard series: This will now be based off the number of times people break into song while playing your arcs.

5) Connoisseur series: Starting a Dev’s Choice arc will remove it from Dev’s Choice, to give it parity with Hall of Fame.

6) Two Thumbs Up series: This will be based off the number of times someone completes your arc without touching the keyboard. Again, we foresee no problems with this.

7) Payoff: The name will be changed to “Unrepentant Badge-[censored].”

8) Virtual Slayer: The name will be changed to “Will Not Give Up Badge-[censored], No Matter How Hard Positron Tries.”
