Under advanced story goals, there is an "add Ally" option.
I think you can set the guards to "none." so they will start helping you the moment you come in range.
Be sure to change the behavior of the ally in the "settings" option if they are not behaving as you want.
That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!

Yes I am brand new to writing story arcs and I am trying to work my way thru my first one. I was wondering if there is anyway to add an NPC helper to your missions. What I mean by that is I have a story line that I am trying to write that involes you helping the hero that your sent to see. Now I can see that there is a Rescue version where you have to save a perosn but I was wondering if there was a NPC helper version of that.
