Friday Flights of Fancy

Dear Guardian:

I invite you to join me Friday evening at 7 pm PST (10 pm EST) as we try out different AE arcs. So far I've selected missions from the Guardian MA thread, but am interested in expanding to user recommendations and the occasional roll of the dice. This event runs for 1.5 hours or more. We'll meet in Kings Row, and see what there is to offer.

From time to time, we'll take the tour redside.

This week, on May 8, we'll be running blueside:

-Knight Chill's one-shot lizard arc
-Kheldarn recommends: Arc 75797
-The Vahzilok Cure, #2782

And potentially more, depending on time.

All are welcome. You don't have to stay for every arc. You can join late if we have the space. Priority will be given to those who sign up in this thread, on a weekly basis. Otherwise, I'll advertise in the Guardian channel and in broadcast.

This will be a reoccurring event, although I can't promise it will be weekly.

Hugs and kisses,

Textilian

Is this where I should make my sarcastic comment about being too afraid of losing my character if I play an arc that Posi decides two weeks from now is a farm?

Nah, not that irrational quite yet.

I'll bring Scorching along - she's still level 34 so can't get into RWZ but once everyone is 35+ there's no need to keep it to a specific side.

I miiiiight be able to make it this Friday. Put me in the Definite Maybe category, please.

Professor Candelabra, naturalement. 36 Peacebringer, going for 37 and the rest of my IO build.

Statesmonkey Sez: Lighten up! It's a game, for Lincoln's sake!
Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.

I had a lot of fun last week and would love to join again this Friday but I just learned my time has been promised elsewhere. Have fun everyone and I'll catch you on another run.

Just let me know when your arc is ready to play again. We'll get to everything eventually.

I put the last mission in a regular, not on fire, forest, so it's playable. There's just something of a cognitive disconnect when the contact makes a comment about how the whole forest is on fire, and then you get there, and things are not even smokey.

Only you can prevent forest fires.

That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!
Shoot on sight, please.

Don't worry, Blood. We can pretend "fire" is meant in the figurative sense, at no extra charge.

I'm sure that soon after Scorching shows up on the map, something will be burning.

Looks like we'll be sk'ing up to 50 again. Some day, the Countess will be level 50 and no longer need a sidekick.

Ok, now that the issues have been settled, I will have either Shadow (50) or Psychometry (42 Arch/MM Blaster) available tonight. Either one is fine by me, so whichever one we need the most.

Woo! FFoF made it into The City Scoop! It's at the bottom of the left column, but it's in there!

Even with the horrible lag and my FPS dropping down to 0.30, I still enjoyed our run last night! Can't wait for the next one!

Maybe this time, I'll remember that it's at 10, not 8... >.<
