700 badge accolade

I was thinking, that I, like most of you spend a lot of time and energy collecting badges. I do it because i am a completist, and that is its own curse/reward.

But I would love to have an in game item accolade as a reward for 700 badges. Something simple with little to no effect, that is still cool. Like a ceremonial sword (1 use per 45 min, minimal damage) Or a specific costume piece that lets you display all 700 badges on your chest (not to be confused with the existing military badges). Or possibly a base item that is a plaque with the badges mounted on them.

I dont want anything extravagant, or that other non badgers will envy to much. Just a cool nod to the badgers.


Also I vote that we call the accolade "The Markus Imperative"

I say wait till Going Rogue is available and bump it up to 1,000 or have it at 777. There is nothing appealing about having it at 700. 666 is another possibility, but I seriously doubt the devs would use it. My vote is for the "Get a Life" badge.

Well, you could go for a REALLY unique one, if you manage to ding 50 at the same time you ding 700, call it "The Markus Effect" and have it, say, triple the length of that Tier 3 inspiration spam we get when we level.

I say name it the 700 club! and the power is once an hour, everyone within 100 feet of you feels compelled to mail you 10% of their monthly earnings.

On a serious note I do like the idea of a badges shadow box for our base, My SG has several 700+ badgers so a hall of gloating would be pretty cool.

How about this. An upgrading accolade that changes every 100 badges. Capping out at 1000, just for the sake of a round number. It's a mallet that you make by gluing all your badges together... each 100 badge milestone, it gets bigger and more potent.
100 badges, it's like a fancy brawl. 200, a bit stronger... ...going all the way up to 1000 badges, where it's Assassin Strike level damage, without needing to be cloaked or a Stalker.

We can call the accolade "See? They ARE good for something!"

Self-heal, 1 hour recharge. Number of HP healed equals your badge count total.

call it "Inspired by Past Achievements" or something

of course, then all the min-maxers would become badgers to get that power maxed out...

Meh, just another badge I would never get. My main badger has something like 440-450 badges? I dont even remember anymore. They keep adding so many I cant keep up, and the epic ones..heh i'll never have those. I will NOT farm that much for a badge. NO WAY! Every time another badge is added just knocks me down even more to having most/all.

What ever tha accolade is for villains that takes a epic badge or whatever the hell, is one of the reasons I havent any accolades for any of my villains. Not a single one. I have lost so much interest in trying anymore that I dont even know what they're called or what to do to get them anymore.

My issue with Vill badges is simple...getting ones you missed. Now blue side, you hit Oro and its simple. Red Side tho...if you don't have a contact unlocked, you apparently can't Flashback their mishes. And if your level is high enough, whichever contact unlocks the one you need won't give you mishes anyway.

THAT is a headache.

Ugg, yeah really. I am one for trying to do all the normal contacts I can, on both sides. But with villains It seems somehow, dont know how, I have missed a lot of stuff. No I dont PL. I solo so much it isnt funny.I guess contact choices or some such..I dont know.

I ALWAYS run out of contacts before I get to the level I need to be for whatever contact/content. Then it ends up just being newspaper/street sweeping/radio/street sweeping till I hit a level I need to be for the next zone and or contact....

The unlockable contacts that you need a badge for can be run through Ouroboros, provided that you have the appropriate badge. You do not need to have earned the badge before outleveling the contact to run it in Ouroboros. A level 50 can go back to Port Oakes, snare some pirates in the ghost traps at the fort, and then flashback to Veluta Lunata's arc if they should choose to.

Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.

I have never been able to get that to work..I havent tryed very hard I guess, but I have tryed, and it dont work for me. So I said to hell with it.

A lot f badges in villains just seems so much like a pain in the a$$.

I can verify that they unlock in Oro when you get the badges, even post-level range. Did both Velua and #204's missions that way.

the badge pimp accolade gives u the collective powers of all the accolades, plus instant healing as a accolade power in which its a toggle form and the power recharges once an hour, but if its on for 5 minutes without any hp to heal, it simply kills u, because the cells dividing in your body have thus given u cancer, and u die. do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars, just die.
