I guess this means we can't have your stuff?
Ah, well. I have enough stuff anyway. We'll leave a light or two on for ya. -
Somebody bring that man a cigar!
Just don't smoke it near the munchkin.
Congrats! -
Thanks for the reminder.
As it stands now, I'm working Friday night - late, but will be snoozing most likely come raid time. -
For whatever it's worth, I didn't notice much lag at the MSR tonight.
-
I think it's fair to say that many have gone on vacation - as school is out for summer. At least it is around here. Not to mention a wealth of natural disasters all over the place, (well, it seems that way to me) and coming off of Easter.
Don't panic. There will be plenty of trials once they get this AoE lag issue addressed. -
As a rule, Liberty will form the leagues for incarnate trials in RWZ.
Sometimes, because of MSRs or weekly taskforces, they may change up. The main objective is to have a store nearby to sell to. -
Folks, there's something glitchy, at least on Liberty server. Almost everyone with AoE powers are having a rough time using those powers and still be able to see what's happening, or even be able to move until either the players toon or the npc's are defeated.
I think it's highly unlikely that so many people are having trouble with the same things and the server not being the source of the problem.
Just chimed in so those who were having similar problems didn't feel alone. -
From what Avatea has in her stickied post, I suspect you need to roll back your NVidia driver.
Just a guess. -
There is a small contigent of villains on Liberty. For whatever the reasons, most play on blue side, and if someone is looking for assistance with a task force, or some specific difficult mission, there is usually someone willing to log in a villain and help out. At least, that's been my experience.
@draygos was kind enough to help me park a new villain in his Dreamwreckerz vg, and somehow I ended up in the leadership spot. I only play my villain one day a week, as she's a lowly 27, and the new issues involve higher level play.
If you're seeking daily teaming, our vg would not be a good fit.
What is it that you're looking for in a vg? -
Quote:Um..I understand these are just your opinions, but I would say that Liberty server, or Infinity are far nicer servers to play PvE. Virtue's reputation is that it's predominantly role-playing people. (that's not necessarily a bad thing)Nothing documented or official, but going by server loads and various player accounts, Virtue is the most populous server followed closely by Freedom, Justice/Infinity being the distant third, everything else being in ghost town territory. The European servers don't bear thinking about if low population bothers you as they are the lowest populated by far. After the list merge, they will be even more so (after the NA sight-seeing wanes).
For general PvE Virtue is the best place to play. If you like some PvP Freedom is the best choice. Justice can have somewhat of a late-night population as it is popular with Oceanic players.
Ghost town servers are good if you are a hardcore soloist. The performance of the zones will be much better on the ghost town servers, due to the low population.
As for Ghost town servers - I think if you solo, they're all pretty much a ghost town, especially once you're on a mission map. If you're looking for teams, I'd imagine every server has their global channels that they use to form teams and Strike/task-forces.
On Liberty, one of the main channels used is LB. Silenced upon entry, but you can view the roster and see that you're never alone on Liberty. -
I had the same problem; ninja run, booster jump pack, (whatever ya call that thing that lets you continue to jump for 30 seconds), vet award black wand and Sands of Mu also disabled during the last BAF and Lambda I ran.
Hey, what do you know? I calmed down enough to delete 20 lines of childish ranting before I posted! -
Well, if any of you are on Liberty, just ask me to head to a PvP zone. I will try to clobber you, if I can see you, but I'm not very good at it. I think I've gotten 1 stalker, and have been defeated more times than I can recall.
I have gotten one PvP io drop before, in the arena. Sold it for about 80 million.
I do have two accounts, but I think trying to farm for the recipes would be far more boring than I care to think about. -
I think you guys may be missing the point. It's supposed to be challenging. Use the ...experience. Analyze your play, your combat log. Figure out how to handle the situation before the ambush.
For the most part, those ambushes can be ignored. Run right past them, and continue on to the next objective. They don't pursue any farther than they would in the Hollows.
Me, I like it challenging. -
As for the staging ground, the trials you did try were apparently led by someone who wasn't very good at leading. That stoop in front of the BAF? That could be your "staging ground" - where the league leader breaks down the roles and expectations.
Or, those points could be discussed prior to entering the queue.
The only real problem I have with the trials is that there are just two of them. Less than a month, and they're already boring - and I still have about a zillion more 50's to get their slots unlocked and filled.
Just my two inf. -
This may be an old, repeatedly hashed out topic that I missed when I was away from the game.
I think it would be useful to see the last time a global friend was logged on - as for me, I'm at the cap of my global friends list. I'd hate to remove some of these folks - but, if they haven't logged on in years, I may as well.
I do realize that the lower they are on the list, the longer I've had them on my list. At least it seems that way to me.
Just one of those quality of life things.
Yes, I'd rather have new content and wouldn't want a dev wasting more than 5 minutes or so on this, but it would be useful. -
I was just about to do what you just did, only you did it far better than I ever could.
Happy Easter to you as well, Draygos.
As for the rest of the server - I hope everyone gets lots of chocolate bunnies and jelly beans - unless of course you didn't want any.
Either way, hope everyone has some nice time with their friends and/or family. -
I apologize for not dropping by here earlier. Nice points. But there's one thing that I don't get.
If you're not going to do any incarnate trials - you won't have any of the Judgement, lore, Destiny, interface slots unlocked.
They unlock through Incarnate xp. No clobbering baddies in the trials, no ixp, no slots, so, no need to try and fill them.
That is, of course, unless I missed some other way to get ixp? -
That does make sense; and I thank you. But it seems to me that if that is the case, shame on the devs. Seems to me that they'd show the 1% until that last shot takes him out.
Thanks for your input! -
I wanted to thank Wulfrich for leading an MoLambda attempt -- it failed, but it was a real hoot. We had Maurader down to zero health - and I'm pretty sure we had him there prior to 10 seconds left, but, we failed anyway.
But, it was a good bit of intense fun.
Back to the drawing board. -
I've used greendot to pay for my subscription, booster packs, going rogue, just about anything NCSoft sells in it's CoH store.
You buy the card, load it with cash, then go online to activate your account. They send your pin seperate from your permanent card.
Wal-mart's money card is a slightly better deal with a 3 dollar load fee instead of $4.95.
I recommend going to a bank and getting a debit card. No monthly 5.95 fee, no load fees. No load minimums. -
Not true, I'd run any Mo or regular tf/trial anytime I'm on, if I'm able to do so and not already in the midst of one with you at the helm.
-
I think it's note worthy to point out that some debuffs are stronger than others.
Take a peek at Shivan Hybrid's numbers. 27%.
I've teamed with Shivan before, but certainly couldn't say why his enervating field does more debuff than Radiant Bloom or QP. Perhaps it has something to do with the alpha slot.
I know that my ill/rad's got some extra debuff with his 4th tier alpha.
I think in order to get the MO, it would be best to try and have the +3 level shifted folks doing the debuffs at a minimum. Better still, everyone with a +3 level shift. It'll likely still be very tough, but, if it were easy, who'd care?
Thanks for sharing, PW! -
Quote:This is not "required". It's an option. I've gotten my 4th tier Cryonic without spending one inf. The reward table does provide a random very rare, rare, uncommon and common option. Obviously, the common and uncommon are far more frequent than the other two. What proof do you have of this, 95%? We are having people reaching the top tiers this new stuff within the first week. The high/mid level stuff requires 400,000,000 & 100,000,000 inf per slot.
As for influence, and it's cap - there's always going to be some players who earn more inf by marketing wisely than by playing. In my case, I like to keep 1 to 1.5 billion on my main, and 200mill to 500 mill on all the others. Understand that when I returned to the game, I only had 23 million total - collected from all of my toons.
I don't think luck had as much to do with large amounts of inf as effort. I focused on marketing, and earning lucrative drops with reward merits and AE tickets.
The players that don't have large amounts of inf are likely alt-aholics - and alts are pricy, and typically don't pay dividends until they are level 50. Any others that don't have a billion are players who just don't enjoy crafting, or prefer to play the story content, rather than the distracting markets.
It's too easy to email a 500 mill dividend to an alt when you reach the cap. Just be sure you claim it as soon as practical, so you don't have to worry about server resets gobbling up your email. -
I honestly think that there is nothing less inspiring than someone who takes it upon themselves to "correct" someone else - without the other persons best interest in mind.
In short, if you can't say anything positive or constructive, move on. -
As someone who can hardly remember where I put my car keys on occasion, the map of where the containment chambers and weapons crates will come in handy, thanks!
