  1. so no dice on a tank? i have a couple 50 brutes ss/wp ss/fire ss/sd but didnt really think that they would be able to stand up to a fight such as RSF with only 3 people.
  2. Hello all! i have a 50 Son/Rad that is pretty amazing w/o IOs but i never really use her, i was thinking about making her into a AV killer. The only problem being i have no clue where to start with set bonuses and what i should really be working for. Any tips or suggestions? Def? Rech? not a clue .

  4. So hears the dilema, im a 36 month vet and never really set foot on blue side. Currently im working on a couple heroes and actually enjoying it, but what im trying to do is make a character that will be able to take aggro (tank) on TFs. I also have a couple buddies of mine that are going to join me, i just have no clue what would work out the best as a 3 person team. Anyone have any ideas? Doesnt really matter what side (blue/red), im just trying to find a kick a** trio that will be awesome together. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    rsf

Is it possible to perma heat loss?
  7. Have wm/inv and love it get the accolades
  8. I still think soul is the best you don't really need a immob since rttc is a good amount of aggro and no burn to make them flee it should be your best bet.

    rsf

So in building a /cold should I go primarily for recharge? What 9ther set bonuses are good for i?

    rsf

What's t most helpfull corr for a rsf?
  11. Gloom is Great solid DOT and Dark Obliteration is Great AOE -tohit, that with the regen of WP your good to go, i use it all the time vs +1 x8 non IOd SS/WP and barely ever die unless i go stupid with it. Its easily capable of doing more but just started playing again and dont like debt that much
  12. i went soul, Gloom and Dark Obliteration for the two powers and absolutly love it!

    RSF Brutes

actually instead of just putting /ea or /invul i could use any secondary just not really feeling the whole Granite idea. So if you all could just post what you have seen work best as a brute on the RSFs

    RSF Brutes

not really looking for the survival of DM however im just trying to figure out how the best brutes i have seen do the RSF were /ea before the buff to them. I would really like to go EM/ because i have a EM/Nin Stalker who is awesomesauce. So EM/Invul? any good build ideas for it, i.e. what should i be going for for bonuses?
  15. Tweeks

    Em/ea

Energy Melee / Energy Aura Please explain, how come this is not a more commonly used set, seems great ST damage, so it would probably be good for most soloing activities or even AVs correct?
  16. Claws is a great primary that doesnt really need a whole lot of recharge, i would try sprinkling some defense, and hp to the mix and you should be pretty well off the only thing you really have to slot with recharge is energize.

Stone is too boring for me, too slow with too many downfalls. I like the Idea of /Fire for damage but im going to need something that can really tank so whats your thoughts on /invul or /EA?

    EM/EA
    EM/Invul
    FM/EA
    FM/Invu

    How about those?l
  18. love my ss/wp easy mode without IOs
  19. I'd say DA is the most under used secondary for brutes, mainly because it "cant" do what the other secondaries are able to do.

    Best solo AT COV

whats the best solo AT for red side, played many brutes and wanting something different just not enjoying running out of the blue bar with all the other ATs.

    RSF Brutes

Whats the most powerfull brute for holding aggro in a RSF, im trying to make something that will be able to hold up well even with a pug group. So in short i need something that wont be crushed with only having a couple of characters that know what there doing. Any thoughts or ideas will be extremely helpfull. Primary and Secondary please.

    ?/EA

war mace = no to much flaming goin on there

ss = boring have a few 50 brutes want something new

dm = to me just dosnt have enough punch

Maybe i should just make a em/ea brute for just soloing? Would FM be a good option?

    ?/EA

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are of things that can pair well with /EA. I have come to the conclusion that the powerset can not be as bad as everyone is making it sound, so therefore i want to make a solid build but im lost at what would go with it, starters i hate SS DM and Claws. So if anyone else has exp with any of the other powersets it will be greatly appreciated, im looking for something with enough mitigation to hold up to x8s but enough ST to possibly take on a AV, so hit me up with what you guys think is the best please! Thanks in adv,

    Tweeks.
