I definitely look forward to the proper and appropriate fix to this issue. I wish the developers all the best on doing so.
No quitting the game here. Besides, I'm paid up through January or something silly.
I HEART COH! -
Quote:I totally need to eat, but I am TOTALLY going to run your arc, now.I'm fairly certain my one, and first Arc (393301 - Questionable Ethics) will be dramatically affected by this patch. 3 Missions, all of which have rescues, 1 with many battles between an enemy and ally group, and 1 with an ally (who is actually an enemy that just gets away).
Be watching for tickets!

Three arcs of my six were hit.
This Costume Contest Sponsored By Tubbius, 101933, is pretty well shot to pieces. Its whole point is to jam as many NPCs into it as possible for fun.
PENGUIN, 29205, was hit because Tubbius Claus and Waddle were both in the third mission. I deleted Tubbius last night, but I'm going to go back and add him back in shortly. I was looking to rework that mission a touch anyway.
PENGUIN Part 2: Waddle's Revenge, 302196, had a very minor issue about a Battle that never really came up; deleting that battle and rewriting the end of mission 3's text and the start of mission 4's is a change I can accept.
SO: back to fixing PENGUIN, I think. Like most others are saying on here, very few are playing my stuff anyway without serious forcing from me.
EDITED: PENGUIN is corrected, returned to its pre-deletion-of-Tubby state from last night. I've also gone through and corrected a LOT of custom power selections on various toons in my arcs. If they're real PCs of mine, they're going to have power setups as close to my own real characters as they can get.Try re-running some Tubbius arcs TODAY!

Hmmmmm. They're not super duper challenging for teams, but you might enjoy my PENGUIN (29205) and PENGUIN Part 2: Waddle's Revenge (302196). Try them out.
-
Well, "City of Ho Ho Ho, or A Claus in Paragon", arc 18775, is 5-20, but you knew that already.

Not a problem, MCM. Thanks for running it! This is actually the second build of the arc; the first build had more of the Zealot in it and much less of anything else. The Bomb didn't make an appearance, etc. I'm just afraid I don't "do" villains that well. I'm more a Hero Man!
I totally understand the comments about mission 3, and I can change that sort of thing up, of course. The Paragon Bomb IS mentioned earlier in the arc, by the way (see your own screenshot, above, with "Fat Louie" Malone in it).
I might go for a third build of the arc in due time. This one's really my "off arc," I guess. "City of Ho Ho Help: A Prequel," my other villain arc, was ultimately removed from the lineup and deleted, and this one might be, as well, in favor of a new run at both, some day.
I'm currently trying to piece together PENGUIN Part 3: Waddle to the Big Top, and there's still what I consider my best overall single arc itself "Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City" (351727). Try it out some time, and I'll holler when I publish PENGUIN 3.
Good enough?
Thanks again for playing the arc! -
Played the arc. Loved the arc. That is all.
-
Your call, MCM. Whatever you like is good to go.
Eagerly awaiting your examinations of "Fox Hunt" and "Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City." -
Already sent in "Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City", arc 351727, and awaiting acceptance!
Hope you guys enjoy it when you get to it!
-
Thanks for the nomination, MCM.
Waddle LIKE MCM!
-
Might cram even MORE Tubbius customs into "This Costume Contest Sponsored by Tubbius", arc 101933.
I think my others are solid.
-
I'd want someone to nominate one of my three mission arcs, but, umm, I'm a winner already.
Yaaaay!
-
Thanks for the high praise, folks. I'm working on ideas for arc #7 (I had to delete one arc I wasn't entirely pleased with, and now I'm looking to replace it), so watch my signature and these forums for more Tubbius fun. -
WOOOOO!
Thanks to all who voted, and good work to all for making arcs that folks enjoy!

Ooooooooo! It's a birthday!
Happy birthday! -
It's a great channel with good people who are more than willing to help out with AE questions and mission playthroughs. I heartily endorse this MA Arc Finder channel!

Interesting music on the show, now that I've figured out how to listen to it! Well, I know the rating of one of the DJ's, courtesy of the comments I got. Let's see how it all plays out!
Thanks again for taking the time to play through the arc to all of the Aentertainment Tonight staff who did. -
Can't really say I have much in the vein of laugh out loud humor, BUT any of the arcs in my signature are always up for playing, of course. I'd guess the closest I have to humor at all would be the pairing of "City of Ho Ho Help: A Prequel" (267125) and the arc it previews of "City of Ho Ho Ho, or A Claus in Paragon" (18775). This is more sappy fun Christmas special stuff, with an Outcast boss trying to work up support to smash up a hero who might or might not be Santa Claus himself.
If you just want something that will warm the bottom of your heart, try "Polar Emergence Neutral Government User Interface Network (PENGUIN)" (29205) and its sequel "Waddle's Revenge" (302196). Save Waddle the Penguin from Crey Biotech and follow his assault on Crey as he looks for--his POPPA.
Have fun, and if you try any of these out, let me know what you think! -
Try my "Waddle's Revenge", arc 302196, since you've told me you've played "PENGUIN" and "Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City" already.
Rate as you see honest and fit.
I'll be PMing you momentarily regarding "In Pursuit of Liberty."REALLY good stuff in that arc!

I sense the need to rock out on new arcs.
-
I'll be submitting an arc of mine on here, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to stream it at the proper time the show's running if it gets on there. Sad me.
Well, if I luck out and get on the show and I luck out and have time to listen, that'll be OK.
And if I don't get the show, that's okay, too. No hard feelings. -
3 missions or less, playable by level 33. . . .
Might I recommend my "Polar Emergence Neutral Government User Interface Network (PENGUIN)", arc 29205? It's 3 missions long and contains Crey and Winter Horde ranging from levels 30-54. It also contains one of the cutest, heart-meltingest (is that a word?) allies you'll ever get introduced to.
And, if you like PENGUIN, it has a sequel. See my signature for details on Waddle's Revenge (arc 302196, and it's 4 missions instead of 3, but it's fun, too).
