  1. Hmm. Well, I have a full set of charges on my Defender...so it's definitely working. However, the one thing I can think of is...how long have you been staying offline?

If you don't stay offline long enough to get a charge, the timer on it resets. And I don't know what the timer is for this power, but it *might* be 24 hours. So, were you logged off for 3 days straight, or did you log back in several times to see if you had a charge?

    Veteren Rewards?

I'd wager that you were in an MA arc at the time. You can't select Veteran Rewards while in an MA arc.

    Veteren Rewards?

Go to your badges, select Veteran from the drop-down menu, and scroll all the way down. There should be a badge that says Veteran Power or something like that. Click it, and it will allow you to choose your power of choice.

Please note that once you redeem this, there is no going back. You select one of them, and that's the one that character has...forever. So make sure you're absolutely certain of which one you want before you make the selection.
  4. The thing is, though, that very few people would actually use "walking", and very rarely at that. As you said, it would be purely for RP reasons, and while I am a casual RPer, most of the time I wouldn't even consider using it, and I'm sure I'm not alone. Power Customization took a lot of work, yes...but all the work that went in to it will be worth it, with all the people using it, and all the different things you can do with it. Walking would require a *lot* of reanimation, and would have very little benefit in return.

That's not to say it will never happen...but I wouldn't count on it.
  5. Unfortunately, there's no way to do nested quotes automatically. The best you can do is quote both posts, and edit them so they're nested.

It's tough, really. While it would be nice to disable e-mail, it doesn't take *that* long to deal with, and I'd much rather spend 10 seconds deleting e-mails than having to put up with them using /tells again.

    1) Send someone an e-mail that compels them to respond.
    2) Wait for a response.
    3) Get a response.

    Voila.

And by the way, the Spam button *does* work. The RMTers are just making new accounts after the ones that are reported as spamming are banned.

Honestly, I wouldn't know who to go for for this kind of issue. I'd maybe try Castle.

And yes, they do answer...sometimes. Sometimes they get busy, and don't...but I've gotten several answers from them. Just don't get offended if you don't get a response. They're awfully busy with I16 now.

Hope they'll be able to help you, though.
  11. It depends. Are you talking hero-side, or villain-side?

Hero-side...well, it's perfectly doable, but there are a number of contacts that just aren't really worth getting, mostly due to several duplicate story arcs. There's also all the Hazard zone contacts, as well as the Single Zone contacts...

In short, it'd be a collosal undertaking. Not an impossible one...but it'd take a lot more dedication and perseverence blue-side.
  12. This topic doesn't have enough punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you really want your question answered, why didn't you use even more punctiation to emphasize your question?!?!??!?!!??!?!?!!?!??!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!!?!?!

Really. One punctuation mark is enough. Don't be one of those people.

As for your question, I don't think there's been any official word one way or another. Personally, I think it makes sense canon-wise for them to be non-removable...but that's just me. You could try PMing the devs, if you want a better answer, because the devs don't come here, and I doubt any player knows.

Besides which, the "list of known issues" that I think you're talking abotu is player-maintained. Unless there's an official one that I don't know about...

A look similar to, no. And they've done that already.

But the poster above seemed to me to be saying "I want something that looks exactly like the old boards so I don't have to deal with change!" That would have been rather difficult...and unreasonable.

I may have read into it too much, though, and if I did, I apologize.
  17. It's an entirely different system. Creating a new skin just to look like the old one would have been a *huge* undertaking...and quite frankly, a waste of time.

Yes but why spend your time taunting and managing aggro when you could be keeping the team alive? If I invite a defender to my team I expect him to DEFEND me, cause I dont need a tank. I will let the tanker tank.

[/ QUOTE ]...funny, I thought managing aggro *was* keeping the team alive...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Let the scrappers and tankers do it...defenders only have a gimp versoin of managing aggro because they have to manage aggro and constantly supply their health

    [/ QUOTE ]

Huh. Funny how my current defender nearly never has to "supply his health" and yet he's nearly always the first into a spawn because most people dawdle too much moving spawn to spawn. Doesn't own any heals, either, unless you count the Entropic Chaos and Call of the Sandman procs. And both those are in defending/light damaging tools.

You don't seem to understand defender grabbing even some of the aggro, spreading it around, can be quite beneficial to team survival. There are sets that actively defend the team, rather than reactively, and they often have tools to survive lots of aggro. The emp and pain sets in your sig the only buff/debuff sets you play?

[/ QUOTE ]This, pretty much. Pretty much any AT can tank, and very well, if built properly. My Ice/Storm 'troller is probably my best "tanker". She duoed with an Ice/Ice blaster, and she does an incredibly good job of maintaining aggro.

There are many more ways to maintain aggro than 'Taunt...Taunt...Taunt...Taunt...", or hitting things with your face.

    Here you go!

I think this vet power is silly, but then a lot of the other ones were too.

It's just that I think the rewards should be better the longer you go.

But then you create haves and have nots. So they are kind of stuck with the whole thing.

[/ QUOTE ]You can't exactly see the Vidiot overlays until the Fog is lifted, yaknow.

I can't help but wonder if this thread prompted this announcement. I mean, I make a post about a new vet power I've found that I've never heard of before, and less than 12 hours later an official announcement goes up confirming it?

Sure the power's icon has been uploaded to ParagonWiki since March, but I'd never heard of it, and judging by the reactions in this thread and the other, neither had most of the forumgoers.

[/ QUOTE ]Since there was a thread asking about it in March or so, I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence.
