O.o I hate myself because I liked it.

I just want to say that I am happy that this community is divided between "ah!! crotch in my face!! It burns!!!" and "hmm, there's nothing in there... that's odd..."

Normally we get big triple Ds thrown in our face, so fair is fair to have something else.

I'm more annoyed by the lack of an actual crotch in the crotch.

I'm also kinda meh about Kin Melee's short A.S. Specially with all the hand waves Kin Melee does. Though I choose to see it as a very calm, very vicious, "I'm just going to drop a tiny nuclear explosion right here in your heart."

I'm enjoying it on a very psychological level.

1. Joe and Bob attack my stalker.
2. My stalker starts beating up Joe.
3. Bob is happily taking pot shots at me without a care in the world.
4. Before Joe is dead, my stalker turns around, looks at Bob, and one shots him.
5. No one saw the attack.
6. Then he calmly returns to finish off Joe.

Dark / Ice sounds sexy. But then again, anything */Ice does. So I already have enough of them.

So, still debating.

I'd be happy if they cut Volty's damage in half and make him attack twice as fast.

At least he'd look useful.

I know he is intellectually, but he doesn't feel so.

Can we at least have sluggie as a shoulder pet? We have a panda and a cat. We could use a shoulder slug.

Frostfire's progress is also very satisfactory. Though I wish he some costume upgrades along the way.

Typical blaster, goes ahead, is an idiot, gets the agro and then runs to the team to be saved.

Also, keep in mind that until you get some IOs and power pools to up your defenses, you are more of a melee blaster burning ball of quick death rather than a run of the mill sturdy scrapper.

Every recipe and salvage drop cons purple when you get it.

PPM for dummies (as I understand it):

The proc chance in PPM procs varies by the power it is slotted in.

A 4 PPM proc will have a 100% chance to proc in attacks with 15 second recharge (because 15 sec x 4 = 1 minute)

A 4 PPM proc will have a ~50% chance to proc in attacks with 7-8 second recharge.

The bigger the recharge time, the better the chances of getting the proc to go off. This was made to slightly balance procs. The original ones favor quick recharging attacks too much and the devs wanted to correct this, at least a little.

AoEs is another level of math I think was explained up there, but I'm still figuring out.

Basically the icon is saying your are withing range of their [Invincibility] power and you are buffing their accuracy and defense.

Sucks when you're in a team full of melee. It stacks fast.

It is funny to see Mage bosses drop faster than Behemoth lts, though.

Without bringing IOs or iPowers into the situation, one question would be: what are you doing to draw agro?

My Emp/Rad blasts and AoEs like he has nothing to do (which he doesn't after all the buffs are down...) and rarely gets in trouble.

What I do is wait a second for Melee and even blasters to get a good hit in before I unleash. Their taunt and damage makes me low on the foes priority list.

And always stay mobile. If I get into trouble I jump over the tanker and let the mob follow me through him. Or anyone with a taunt aura, for that matter. The mob will soon forget all about me.

Gonna agree with mauk2, if you want to punch people with fire, tank is the way to go. Two PBAoEs is just too good.

Scrappers and Brutes have more ST fire to slap people around, but tanks have presence. "I am here, and all you are going to burn, now."

I admit, I went crazy buying ATO at more than they are worth to speed complete a set.

But I also sold at above their price enough to end up winning. I see Brutes as mediocre scrappers, so I unloaded my Brute ATO for pretty penny.
