  1. Would love to purchase it. I keep getting a message that they can't accept my order at this time and if I continue to have this problem to visit a retailer. Don't know that I can go into a Game Stop and ask for the Animal Pack . I will try again again later.

However, she is the leader of her VG, and second highest prestige-earner, and while I know I could promote another of my toons to take her place, I'd rather her not loose the leadership role at all, or the prestige count she has tallied. So that's really my question, I guess - can a Rogue lead and earn prestige for a VG?
To touch back on this, it is my understanding that you won't lose credit for the prestige you've earned, but you will lose leadership. One thing I'm wondering is if you will continue to earn prestige once you've fully moved over.
  3. I'm pretty sure I'll be there, as well as others. So definitely drop by!
  4. We ran a few casual Tip Missions, and ended with a Hero Morality mish. It was a good night for leveling, and I think all of us are now 35+. Would love to try an ITF next week, so make sure you can access the Midnighter's Club if you wish to join. For those that can't commit to the time or are not high enough in level we can see about arranging a second grouping.
  5. I'd be inclined to believe you'd see more level 50's so their characters can run the incarnate material, and thus more people wanting purples.
  6. We had an awesome run last night. And I was exceptionally blessed with a couple of very nice recipe drops, and lots of shards for all our incarnates.

Now that Issue 19.5 is live, maybe, if we have enough 45+ we can run an STF? Don't know if we'd have enough FRads for a team of 8 but I'm sure we can fill in the spots.

But it is a FRad night, so to be fair, if we have some lower level ones, let's stick to the normal routine - wouldn't want to leave anyone out.
  7. And as silly as it may seem, sometimes it is cheaper to buy the crafted piece rather than the recipe itself.

    Faultline.

And if you tried your map and didn't see the entrance, you might have zone markers unchecked.
  9. I would think the third build introduced with Issue 19 might play a part in it.
  10. For me the room is so bright it washes out most of the detail. I like it for large mobs that spawn close by. But I haven't seen the room in quite awhile.
  11. The way I look at it - probably 99% of all powers benefit from endurance reduction. A little bit less than that would benefit from recharge, and maybe half would benefit from accuracy or a damage boost. So I look to cardiac first, and weigh the pluses and minuses. Also, for my kin troller - hold and accuracy boost is a huge win!
  12. On top of what Local_Man, some things I'd consider:

I would remove a slot from hasten and see if that could benefit you elsewhere. Two recharges should be good.

My fire/rad is just now hitting 50 so not fully conversant on all the powers, but my impression of consume is it has minor damage, even slotted up. I'd go for maybe 3 efficacies, and get the recovery bonus from the set.

Maneuvers sucks up some endurance. Maybe one of the freed up slots can be used for an endurance reduction.

I agree on the combat jump and the jumping IO - I use the power for extra defense only - that slot might be more useful elsewhere.

Lingering Radiation - It comes up quickly enough for me that I don't think you need a recharge IO - I use a couple Tempered Readiness for the Recovery bonus.
  13. In general I find the Miracle special and the Numina special really help with endurance issues, as well as some of the set bonuses. It will depend on what type of power sets you have on your characters as to what advice can be given.

It seemed to be every time. It took him awhile to connect the dots as it wasn't an instant shut down, and he frequently flips between the game and other windows. He, too, opted to run the game in windows mode, not realizing it was his keyboard.
  15. My son had had a similar problem and he came to realize somehow things had been reprogrammed on the keyboard to shut down by hitting the alt button.
  16. I had been internally whining about purples myself but finally managed to get 2 to drop in a single day. So I guess I'm not seeing one for another couple months.

And I don't rely on regular drops on rare recipes (I'm SOO tired of getting Stupefies). If they drop, great, but I usually rely on the market or rolls for those.
  17. • The notice that you receive when deleting salvage that can be used in a recipe has to be opted out every time you zone. Especially a pain for characters that have all the crafting badges.
    • The listing price warning has to be opted out of every time you visit the market.
    • Pets that still get stuck in the geometry.
    • You can’t call the detectives to get a safeguard mish.
    • The field analyst in Talos is so far out of the way.
  18. Twas great fun. And yeah - ever since the little minions at home started up school this year it's been harder and harder to make it. But well worth the effort!
  19. Simply amazing! Can't wait to get home to try it!
  20. Still at work, working through all the Halloween festivities - the Potlucks, the costume contests, the goofing off. When will it end! Probably in 3 hours for Frad night, Freedom server (shameless plug!).

    5 Years later...

I have always been a huge comics/superhero fan, and always wanted to try this game. But I couldn't justify the idea of paying a monthly fee on top of paying for the box. But November of 2004 I bought DVD collectors version of COH, hoping that I could, if nothing else, tinker with the character creator. Unfortunately I couldn't run the game. At first I assumed my computer wasn't able to handle it. It was later I discovered I just needed to update my drivers.

10 months later, and a week before the birth of my youngest son I thought this would be a great time to give this thing a try. I figured I'd commit to maybe a month or two financially, and take advantage of the time off from work. I remember my anticipation building up as the progress bar advanced during the install, each screen shot adding to the excitement. My first character (which is still in existence, and finally hit 50 a few months ago) was an NRG/NRG blaster. I slapped the guy together, having no clue as to what I was really doing. It was sad when I discovered that his name was the same as my account name. But when he finally loaded into Atlas Park, I was blown away.

My fondest memories are of the amazement that I felt knowing all those other characters zipping around were actual people, from other states, and other countries, and all in my computer. I loved the majestic music in Atlas Park. I had the prestige power slide, and being new to the game it was fun that so many people kept asking me where I got it. It took we a week to realize how I could jump under the Atlas Statue by hitting the space bar (I don't like reading instruction books).

And here I am, also 5 years committed, and still loving every minute of it. I suffer from a bad case of Wife Agro, Badge Fever, and Altitis. My then 13 year old son played around on my account, and 3 months later, for X-mas, received his own account. My now 5 year old son, too, enjoys the game and is constantly bugging me to play. Some day I'll have to get him his own account.
  22. Ah, nice suggestion. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
  23. Is this a known issue? When I enter the zone on Triumph via boat the pets stay in place. I dismiss and resummon but they don't seem to be summoned. I tp to the base and suddenly they are there. I log off and quickly back on and the pets are now with me in Grandville, but they don't move and don't attack. Kinda hard to trick or treat as a petless MM
  24. A very fun time. Got all the door kill badges in about 20 minutes. On my level 41 I went up 8 bars in about 45 minutes. Just from door camping. And lots of new faces! Fradtastik! (doesn't sound so good. We need to come up with a Frad cry).
  25. Hitting exploration badges would be a way to squeeze out a little more XP.

To get the radio mishes do you have to be trained up to 5 before you get the radio?
