Faultline.

I am a level 21 mastermind ninja. Completed rogue and transfered to CoH. I received the mission about the dam, but I can't find my way into faultline. I have super jump so traveling is easy. I tried skyway city but couldn't find the entrance.

The entrance to Faultline is in the middle of Skyway's southern wall. You can also get there through Pocket D, through the manhole right at the hero side intersection.

And if you tried your map and didn't see the entrance, you might have zone markers unchecked.

To add to this, the entrance is a Tunnel you simply walk/run/jump into.
The destination sign for this tunnel says Overbrook, which is the name of the Dam in Faultline.

Actually, Overbrook is the name of the suburb - "Faultline" is just a nickname it picked up after the enormous earthquake destroyed most of it. It's like "Boomtown" - the name everyone knows it by, but not the one on the map.

While you are correct, I wasn't really wrong either.
The name of the dam in "Faultline" is Overbrook Dam.

I just found that a quicker and easier way to explain that specific name rather than the general reasons why places like Faultline, Boomtown, Crey's Folly, and Eden have alternate names.

It didn't "just" pick up that nickname. It's the pseudonym of the "super" who destroyed Overbrook/caused the earthquake.

I was trying not to spoil the arc for someone who apparently hadn't seen it yet.

Also, Master, I understand why you gave the simple answer, but where else are we going to answer questions in detail? Sorry if I came across as a little curt.

There is nothing wrong with adding extra detail of course. It was just the way it came across in my mind. I guess it felt like you were trying to correct my error, rather than simply adding to what I had said like Raj added to yours.

It seems we all have our reasons for being brief with information. We could go on an on about the history of Faultline and even cite the Wiki, but the OP is just trying to get there. lol

No worries. I know there wasn't any intention behind it.

That's not a spoiler!

The Overbrook Dam was an amazing step forward for Paragon City, and it began a new area of prosperity. When the Arch-villain Faultline held Overbrook ransom with his earthquake device, not many took him seriously. A group of fledgling superheroes did attempt to stop him but failed, and the master of tectonics set off his device, wiping out Overbrook. Faultline disappeared and has not been seen since. The ruins of Overbrook adopted his name, and many villains began to inhabit the area.
That's been around since the game started. Pull from the paragonwiki page.

Cool little thing about bloody bay.

You can get you very own oversize glowing green alien!

When you zone in there will be a nearby "Scientist" contact who will give you a sample collector.

You go to the different meteor fragments in the zone (note after being sample they are untargetable for a few moments; if you arrive at one and can't target it be aware! PvP rewards in BB include meteor fragments). After collecting all of them, you head to a fire base (protected by turrets, note all turrets in a fire base respawn at the same time, and do not regen naturally. Most will destroy one turret then damage the others to almost no health, after the respawn of the dead one, destroy them all) were inside the comp makes a sample out of the fragments. Return to scientist for your GGG pet.

Faultline (Ally)
Quote:
Named Jim Temblor, Faultline is the son of the villain of the same name who leveled Overbrook, and he's decided to restore the good name of his father.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to spoil it for you.

Jim Temblor's story is explained here: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Faultline_%28Ally%29

He's the son of the Arch-Villain.

Also, to the OP, just wait til you get the mission to go into the dam tunnels. There's ways to get to the underground on both sides of the dam, so the waypoint shows up as just underground. It's usually easier to find if you go through the dam though. That dam mission has upset its fair share of players.

edit: I shouldn't have spent so much time making a dam joke.

His arc is available for lvls 15-18, if I recall correctly... its been a long time since I've been to Faultline early enough to do his or Penelopie's - that's her name, right? The store owner's daughter who Jim introduces as a contact if you're low enough level?

If you out-level the arc, you could always run it through Ouro later on instead.

Penelope Yin is the other contact you are thinking of.

***Spoiler***

I prefer the term "Arch-Victim" when referring to the former Faultline.
