I can't imagin how you people are purpling out your builds when a single set of armageddon is going for 900 million.
I just spent 1 billion this morning and only got 4 armageddon's and the pvp +3% def enh.
5 enhancements for 1 billion. that's gotta be a record. -
Update. My scrapper is now level 50. I had 4-5 farmers on hero side assist me. I am really disappointed with the ability of farmers on hero-side. Every farm I was in was like 7-8 people farming 54 bosses. This is so much slower than 1 brute laying waste to freak farms. Oh well.
Once I hit 35 hero side, I went to Rikti War Zone and used my brute to pound out the last 15 levels in 4 hours.
Thanks again to everyone to assisted my efforts. I did have to power level 4 new villains 1-32 in the process. (1 hour each). -
Looking at your most recent build I have a ton of thoughts.
Drop taunt.
Only two slot hasten
Add Ragnarok:knockdown proc in Ball Lightning. This owns!
Add slots to tough. More resist and more end/red
Less slots in stamina. 4 max
drop a slot from super jump. you don't need the AoE defense.
add two zephyr's to combat jumping
drop the end red from knockout blow.
Here's my current build. 164% recharge. Defense Capped. The empty slot in Deflection is the PVP Enhancement that gives you another +3% global defense.

I have both ss/sd and elec/sd. There are pro's and con's to each in my opinion.
First let me say, both are incredibily good single player and in groups. Now with that being said, if you are going to solo more and / or take on AV's you should go Super Strength. If you typically group with a kinetic and don't fight AV's I'd go elec / sd.
Super Strength owns single target damage. Running double rage is great when solo but the rage crash is still annoying. When grouped with a kinetic it's better to avoid even using Rage. Footstomp is the best AoE attack in the game, but SS has more downtime while waiting for it to recharge.
Electric Melee owns AoE combat against bosses. Thunderstrike is practically always available, but has a short range AoE. Slotting this with FF+Recharge is a great advantage because you can fully slot lightning rod with damaging attacks. Electric Melee does more overall damage in parties than Super Strength when running with a Kinetic. Elec Melee has aweful single target damage and is very annoying against AV's. Special Note: many times in combat you will lose your cursor and this makes using two teleport attacks (Shield charge and lightning Rod) very annoying. You get this more often when fighting huge numbers of liet's.
Overall I'd have to suggest Super Strength for the versatility. Electric Melee has it's advantages against packs of 52 bosses and has less downtime than Super Strength but I still believe it's strength's make it a better choice. -
The room is pretty much death. There are so many mobs in there you can run across the room on top of the heads of the mobs. It's kind of fun until you get killed. Using inspirations to cap my defense and resists, I only last about 30 seconds.

If the system let's me do something, blame the system. Blaming me for being good at using the system with zero exploits is jealousy. If you don't like it, cry somewhere else. -
I have many level 50 villains and would like to have a hero on Freedom as well. I'd like to trade some power leveling with someone on Hero side who wants to roll a villain.

I've been working with AE for a while now and have made some very good missions, so I have some experience under my belt. I ran a buddies mission the other day and I'm trying to figure out how it works.
Map Type Large Longbow Map. 19 ambush / boss spawns 22 ally / defendable objects (4 front /13/5 back)
According to the map details you can split up where things spawn with a cap of only 5 defendable objects in the back. How ever ... If you setup everything as "back" the entire back room has all 1000 enemies, allies and objects in it.
Is this a bug or is this working as designed? The map states you can only have 5 allies in the back, but if you make 22 allies and say "back" for all of them, they all spawn in one room. Am I supposed to break up the allies into different categories, one for back, one for middle and one for front and specifically configure the size of each one to match the map cap?
I would expect the map to just spawn 5 allies in the back and that's it. But all 22 allies with their defending groups all piled up in one room show up which is crazy. -
Electric Melee / Shield Defense Brute with a Rad / Kin Corruptor.
Lightning Rod / Shield Charge + Thunderstrike + Ball Lightning on 250% recharge.
Increased Density for +30% smashing Defense makes the brute unkillable with 32+ mobs.
3 AoE attacks on the corruptor with -def and 3 achilles procs makes bosses very squishy.
Dual boxing this setup I farm 1500 tickets in 6 minutes on each account. -
I did my part and made an electric melee / Shield brute guide about a month ago. I'll make a super strength / shield guide in a couple weeks.
I should probably update my first guide. I've made a lot of changes to my build since then. -
Mu offers 2 AoE attacks to supplement farming. Socketing Ball Lightning with a knockdown proc is priceless.
Leviathon offers a cone AoE with -resist which is priceless.
Soul offers additional defense via -hit buff. -
Someone please tell me if I understand all this correctly.
RULES:
1. Unique IO's (any level) work when in SC if text reads "*something* happens every 120" and is slotted into a power picked prior to level 31. (example: lvl 50 numina, Miracle, +Stealth) This also includes performance shifter +end proc.
2. LoTG:Recharge only work in SC if level 33 and below. This can be slotted in ANY power even one chosen after 30.
3. Enhancement Set Bonuses work in SC if all enh's are 33 or below. These apply even if slotted in any power selected post level 30.
4. Purples are exempt from all rules and always work.
Set Bonus' from ALL powers will be applied when exemplar'd to X level if all enh's are level X+3 or less.

I can think of one reason off the top of my head. If you are level pact with another character, tickets are split between you and your partner. Thus, you can earn 400 tickets on a map and get a 600 ticket bonus np.

Flying Custom Mobs are immune to immobilizing effects which is a real treat for players with lots of knockdown attacks.
Flying Mobs move faster which allow larger groups to be pulled together faster.
Flying Mobs are able to move within melee range even when you are surrounded by 14 other mobs and no space is available.
Flying Mobs Patrol Groups move faster and quickly get around obstacles. -
This sounds like the perfect type of map for the upcoming ticket nerf. Enter Mission, kill everything in the first room. Get your 1500 tickets. Exit mission. Repeat.

Every brute can "farm" to some degree. Let's make a scale 1-5 of quality of brute.
1. Wall Farming Cimerora
2. 8-man Liberate TV main tank
3. 8-man all boss lvl 52 AE main tank
4. 8-man all boss lvl 52 AE solo (or two man)
5. 8-man all boss lvl 54 AE main tank
I put elec / sd brute in category 4. Currently I farm the heck out of 8-man all lvl 52 boss farms. I tag team the mission with a rad/kin corruptor. This returns the best tix / inf. Prior to the 5/5 patch it was so easy it would put me to sleep. Now, after 5/5, farming these missions is challenging solo but doable. Tag teaming these missions now is a perfect risk vs. reward in my opinion.
I've tried being the main tank in the Category 5 scenerio but shield defense resistances are just not high enough to take the pounding to be a main tank against level 54 bosses. -

I recommend doing Scirocco's Patron Arc because it leads to "Hammer of the World" which gives this shield as reward

Getting these accolades will grant you:
+300 hitpoints
+3.4 hp / sec regeneration
+10.0 max endurance
+0.30 end / sec recovery increase
Standard Level 50 Attack Chains:
AoE - Bosses
1.Build up, Lightning Rod, enemies fall down, you gain aggro on all of them.
2. Thunderstrike, Ball Lightning, Shield Charge
(switch BL and SC, if FF+Recharge procs)
3. Thunderstrike, Chain Induction, Ball Lightning.
4. Build UP ---> back to 1. until dead.
AoE Lt's
1. Walk into group, yawn.
2. Wait til your Fury is above 50%.
3. Build Up, Lightning Rod, Shield Charge.
4. What? one is still standing? Havok punch ...
Single Target Attack Chain (humility 101)
Havok Punch, Mu Lightning (or Jacob's Ladder), Chain Induction, and Thunder Strike if nothing else is available. It's not pretty but it gets the job done. When traveling with a party of 8 it's usually better just to move on to the next group once there are 1-2 mobs left.
