  1. Buy enough NCSoft stock to get yourself a seat on their Board of Directors, and you could probably get a lifetime subscription as a fringe benefit. Not very cost-effective, though. Does Bill Gates play this game? :-)

Does she have any memory of current events? IE, "Who is the President?" level of questions. May have to dig a little to get past stuff she heard/read in the waiting room.

Recommendation: Try moving this thread to the "Suggestions and Ideas" forum, where the Devs might see it. At the moment, you're posting in the Player Questions forum. The purpose of this forum is for players to answer other player's questions; the actual Paragon Studios people don't read this one much.

    Buff set: Spinach

    Debuff set: The Office Fridge
  6. Info here:
    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Taunt_%28Status_Effect%29

Slotting for duration is a good idea; the vault of the Threat is multiplied by 1000 times the remaining duration of the Taunt. Boosting that number helps attract attention, and their attention will wane as the Taunt wears out.

Resources. Too many pets strain the system. And if their intention is to keep adding vanity pets this frequently, then somebody who bought them all will eventually be able to fill half of Atlas Park with them.
So a cap makes sense. Whether the cap should be "1" is a matter for debate; but I imagine it was the easiest way to write the code.

I'd ask for a tiny human dressed as a nerd, with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. And the monitor is logged into City of Heroes.

I'd imagine a lot of "them" are just software. Use a script to create an account, generate a random character, send a few broadcasts, log out, repeat.
  13. And as a reply to my own thread, if anybody cares:
It seems the problem goes away if I switch to Windowed Mode. No idea why it makes a difference.
  14. I hear the Storm Palace is getting a new look.....
  15. The mouse cursor is messed up on my laptop. The actual select spot is about an inch of two to the left of the cursor. Need to shove the cursor off the edge of the screen to pick anything near the right side.

  17. An issue just cropped up with my laptop: The mouse seems to be picking things an inch or tow to the left of the actual cursor. The cursor can move off the right side of the screen, too. So picking any horizontal trays on the right side of the screen is quite twitchy, as the cursor isn't visible.

The machine is an old Dell Lattitude D820 laptop. I went to Dell and downloaded drivers, but that didn't help. The game pops up a warning that my drivers are obsolete, both before and after I updated them.

A curiosity: The laptop identified its video card as a GeForce 7300 Go (?) before updating the drivers. After the update, it claims to have a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M.

    Here's my CoH Helper log:

Dogs tend to fight human-sized critters by biting a limb and hanging on. The CoH engine doesn't support that very well.

  20. UI Control: Ability to re-arrange your opponent's power trays and re-bind his keyboard. The Tier 9 remaps everything to Self Destruct.

The set bonuses work down to the lowest level that the set is normally available at. IE, if the "normal" version of the set is available from levels 20 to 40, then the store-bought versions will auto-level between 20 and 40, and the set bonuses stop working at 17.
