[...] But seriously, why arent there as many in warburg [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Because FFA blows moist donkey balls in comparison to HvV?

There's nothing more I'd love than to be ganked by fellow "heroes" besides villains, heh.
  2. [ QUOTE ]
    RV is capture the flag.

    Brilliant. Totally, undeniably brilliant.

    [/ QUOTE ]
The flagbearer better have some severe restrictions applied - in terms of movement and concealment/tangibility.
  3. Ahhhh, I'll probably be late... got theory classes to attend to tonight .
  4. [ QUOTE ]
I currently have it slotted 1 acc and 3 recharge which means it's available every minute or so.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Same - with the addition of a couple of damage enhancements added at L40, IIRC.

I like rage, I have no problem with the 'down time' as it is so short. Occasionally I run into a group just as it wears off but hey, it hasn't killed me yet...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh I am in no danger, the def debuff is resisted by my armour. It's the rest of the team I worry about....

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yeh, those 10 seconds downtime can feel pretty long if it comes at the wrong time .

I didnt knew that Follow Up increases your accuracy??
    [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Follow Up is the Build Up of the Claws set, so it does .

Then you have the option of not charging in.

    [/ QUOTE ]

...and the option of getting the TP Foe power

Either immob from range and TP Foe or TP them onto something like Caltrops. (or a biiig pile of mines... /em muhahahahhaahahaah etc)

    [/ QUOTE ]
It always brings a big smile to my face when villains try TP Foeing me onto Caltrops or Tar Patch... and failing to succeed because I was midjump .
  8. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
Well, jump kick is a crappy power anyways, but air superiority offers great damage mitigation, so in later levels it's used mainly when it's more important to keep one thread out of the fight instead of dealing maximum damage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well afaik all pool power attacks make weapons go away, and I believe air superiority to be much better than jump kick because the animation is so long and bad in jump kick. Somebody said that jump kick tends to knockdown things that are not supposed to be knocked down, but I have no real evidence about this. [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yeh, I've been knocked down in PvP with Unyielding on once, because I got hit by Jump Kick .

i dont have any pron in PvP

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't want to know what the "P's" stand for in your version.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Ew! Mental images, go away!
  10. [ QUOTE ]
    Actually.

I can tank Hamidon solo, on my blaster

    ....For 0.32 seconds >_>

    [/ QUOTE ]
Pray that Statesman doesn't see this post .
  11. Rolled a new Brute tonight, with HeroStats reporting an accuracy at around the base 75% at the end of my game session.
  12. Base accuracy should be the same. It's probably just a case of being used to hit a lot with SOs slotted over hitting less frequently with TOs slotted?

    Fury

    [ QUOTE ]
does scrappers get anything similar to fury? cuz they sure do a [censored] of damage in pvp

    [/ QUOTE ]
They have a percentage chance of doing Critical (double) damage.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
    [...] 1. It's not a Tank is it? I mean the shields/defences aren't as strong as a Tank's? [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Nope, not a Tanker. If I remember correctly, Brutes have Scrapper level base values and Tanker level caps.

    [ QUOTE ]
[...] 4. Is it still the Brutes job to draw agro? Or is that more the Masterminds pets jobs?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Possibly not their job, as such, but you should want it anyways... for building up that Fury as fast as possible.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
To add to to this, regen also has the magic auto power labelled "Quick Recovery." Between this and stamina, short of concerted drain (ring mistresses or sappers) you're unlikely to run out of end under normal (ie you aren't using 5 extra toggles) circumstances. Take it, slot it, sleep with it.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I can't wait to get Stamina on my Claws/Regen... oh boy does my endurance disappear quickly (running Integration and occasionally Combat Jumping) .

Somehow i expected someone to post that... no one really likes me... do they?

i guess i just better sod off.

I thought you had to kill Sally 5x - lol [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Nope, twice was enough to get it on Generic yesterday [liked the way I pressed tab after exiting the hospital in Croatoa and tabbed to immediately get her targetted... 850 or something yds. away ] .

Aid other - wouldn't trigger on her [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
    And it shouldn't either .
  20. The defense debuff is closer to 20% than to 10%, if not exactly 20%, if I remember correctly.
  21. [ QUOTE ]
[...] The only passive I am not having is tough hide (currently have it but it is being ditched when I finally bring the tank out of its semi retirement and do the respec trial).

    [/ QUOTE ]
Tough Hide negates the defense penalty of Unyielding nicely (EDIT: almost, it seems now ), though... but I guess one could draw on a bit of the defense bonus from Invincibility for that instead.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
So are the passivesin Invulnerability not worth taking? *is a lvl 23 Inv/SS tank.*

    [/ QUOTE ]
They give you about half of your F/C/E/N/T resistances, the other half provided by Unyielding.
  23. The_Private

    Sally

    [ QUOTE ]
[...] And now you mention it, I didn't get the damn badge either when I finally DID kill Sally. *sobs*

    [/ QUOTE ]
You need to do it twice .
  24. [ QUOTE ]
Stalkers aren't so hard to find. 2 CMs do the trick. [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I forgot. Upon entering a PvP zone you are appointed your own personal Empathy Defender/Controller to follow you around and buff/heal you. Heh.
  25. [ QUOTE ]

    [ QUOTE ]
I'm surprised there hasnt been an sg created for characters built primarily for pvp to go out and splat all the wee plonkers.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Paragon Defenders is probably the only PvP-based supergroup on Defiant. We're all levelling new toons at the moment though, so we haven't been in Sirens much.

Also, being in a zone with 10 stalkers and nothing else is boring.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I dunno, I like killing stalkers

    [/ QUOTE ]
But it's so insanely boring to patrol the zone, looking for them.

Oi! Then you see them for a second or two, and then they fade away. Rinse, repeat.

    Zzzzz.
