  1. They do stack, yes - but the resistance you gain from TI is significantly higher than that from RPD (30% versus 7.5%), so the extra gain by adding RPD isn't "all that".

    Yeah . I've been lucky myself a couple of times by popping Conserve Power and crashing between endurance usage ticks, allowing popping a Catch a Breath for good measure - but more often that not, your 0 endurance will cause a total toggledrop .
  3. Could have had and used the temporary Invisibility power from patrolling... umm... Siren's itself - or Warburg? Can't remember which of the zones.

    The defense buff of Invincibility is definitely significant in a well-sized crowd.

    During the Pocket D Valentine missions with the Red Caps, I rarely got hit by any of the foes... minion or Elite Boss - unless Rage crashed and I received the temporary 20% DEF debuff. Then it started hurting - at lot! - until the debuff weared off.

    It rate it as much a "must have" as Unyielding.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    still the max defense buff from it is 15% (I read something about it but it should be higher)...and since Unyield gives -5% its not really noticable..but that can als be just me:P

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Never ever heard that before... the maximum obtainable defense buff being 15%.

    What I have heard, though, is the power affecting 10 foes in range, giving a frontloaded buff (6%) for the first foe and a lesser buff (1,5%) for the 9 remaining. Unslotted, this results in a defense buff of 19,5% - and a massive 30,66% when 3 slotted with +2 SOs (this is of course providing you're surrounded by 10+ foes)!

    Subtract the 5% debuff from Unyielding, and you still have a good defense buff from it... especially if you also have other powers like Tough Hide and Combat Jumping running. It all adds up.

    It's definitely noticeable when surrounded by foes - and of course not so much when there's just one foe.

  6. I'll be on the lookout for you two .
  7. I'll jump in as Fallen Dragoon and work on the 'Defeat X' badges, so just send a tell when you're about to do the missions. Thanks .

    psionic dam

    The most annoying thing about the psionic damage I've found in PvP is far from the damage itself, but the -recharge component the attacks have instead.
  9. With the release of I7 coming closer, I realised it'd probably be a good idea to catch up on missing badges.

    I'm currently missing a shameful amount of the Accomplishment mission badges (not counting the SF, although I still havn't done any of those... nor the respec missions ) , so if anyone's got or is about to line up these missions, I'd greatly appreciate if I could get a spot on a team to do them:

    * Mask Maker
    * Stone Cold
    * Seaweed
    * Strikebreaker
    * Agent of Discord
    * Soul Taker

    Also missing these couple of potentially bugged exploration badges awarded through missions ...

    * Shrouded
    * Multidimensional

    A really good tanker don't need taunt

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ur N O T a tanker if u dont have taunt

    if ur a "tanker" without taunt ur just another choice for the foe to attack.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Not true, Aurora. Tanks also have Gauntlet (auto-effect minor taunt) and (generally) AoE melee attacks that cause aggro to be directed at them. Thus tanks _can_ perform their task without taunt. [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Not to forget about taunt auras.

    But as others, I'd definitely personally prefer to have Taunt, the power, when tanking.
  11. Base resistance of Brimstone Armor seems to be 18,75%, which slotted up becomes ~29%... so it chops off almost 1/3 of the damage as you found out yourself.

    ~29% damage resistance towards fire/cold is quite respectable... heck, it's more than I get on my Invulnerability Tanker.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
    Well AFAIK blaster damage is unresistable in PVP, might be mistaken though if anyone would care to clarify??

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Close... 30% of Blaster damage is unresistable.

    Also, Crystal Armor gives +DEF against energy/negative, not +RES like Brimstone Armor gives against fire/cold.

    I wouldn't recommend using it in PvP, though. Got one-shot on my /Regen Scrapper by a Corruptor's snipe when resting near the hero base at one time .

    The fourth and fifth slot would give you far too less extra resistance for them to justify it.

    2 end in TI + 2 end on foc acc is less end costing than 1 end in TI + 3 end in Foc acc

    When you exemp down to zones you will have no Foc Acc so lower overall like you say if i read what you wrote right.

    Yeah, exactly .
