[...] Does its bonus stack with itself, out of interest?

If it does stack, it doesn't display an additional icon on your buff-bar. -

Likewise.

This time on bandcam... err... Union, this one other hero looked at me the wrong way... I decided to stick with Defiant!

The vast majority the copyright violating heroes that I've seen have been claws/* and usually claws/regen.
Mostly with purest EULAium claws and an EULAium skeleton, and a healing factor.
When I first tried CoH at a friend's house, around I2 time, we logged into the tutorial. Literally within a minute, three or four Wolverine-clones ran past (followed by Captain Kirk, curiously enough)
I can't speak for the actual use of the powers ingame, though, but others already have.

I named my Claws/Regen GenericHero29482 to do the GMs a favor.
(and no, 29482 is not a random number) -

Claws has a Knockback on Focus and Shockwave
[/ QUOTE ]
There are many people that fight on follow in order to stay on an opponent who dont like knockbacks, because that means they have to chase the opponent and find themselves running of the edge of something or maybe toward another group. The time to follow an opponent messes up attack chains and reduces killing speed. Tankers dont like having to reherd and alot of people out there prefer knockdown to knockback.
[...]
[/ QUOTE ]
The knockback on Focus (can't speak for Shockwave as I've yet to get it myself) is knockdown for even conning villains, so it's rarely an issue (unless of course you spend a lot of time fighting villains below your level). -
I havn't had any problems with Claws dealing lethal damage so far... especially not with Focus available to me - that power is a gem

Swipe, the first attack, and Slash, the third attack, have long execution times, yes.
Strike, the second attack, have a short execution time, yes.
You couldn't possibly have messed it up more.

Then propose a build with powers that work for you and your idea of slotting and maybe people can say things like "its better to have an end rec and a dam res instead of having an extra 2defs in combat jump" type thing and why.
[/ QUOTE ]
uh-oh typo i meant to say "its better to have an end rec and a dam res added in unstoppable instead of having an extra 2defs in combat jump" type thing and why.
[/ QUOTE ]
Providing the two extra slots in Combat Jumping were available after selecting Unstoppable, of course.

build up / AS

Correct, because you'd be failing to finish off the first hero with that little blade of yours.

http://uk.boards.cityofheroes.com/sh...;Number=307343 might be helpful, although it deals with Leaping over Speed (and Stealth).

I'm too big a wuss to do something about it though.

Alrighty, thanks
.
1x Damage Resistance, 2x Defense Buff, 3x Recharge I suppose as far as 'optimal' slotting goes then? -
"Loosely" planning out GenericHero29482 using SherkSilver's CoH Hero Builder, as I understand it's more up-to-date than Joe Chott's, I stumble across Moment of Glory and see the resistances and defenses it offers...
Resist: S/L/F/C/E/N/T - 40%
Defense: S/L/F/C/E/N - 80%
Are these numbers accurate?
The resistances sound somewhat lower than what I remember hearing about them...
nofuture.org.uk lists as 71% resist, 80% defence.

Where is Eviscerate and Shockwave to be found on the "fun scale" in comparison to Focus?
I'm having loads of fun with Focus right now. Charging a group, flinging off Focus as you get within range, see the critical hit slay the white conning (or almost slaying the yellow conning) before even getting to the group is awesome - and so is the guaranteed knockdown!
Good fun knocking down /Fire and /DA Brutes (without Acrobatics) in Siren's Call as you see the Build Up animation and see them running towards you (not that you really need to care... /Regen <3 - and I can't wait for Instant Healing to get within range)... *fling, flipflop*.

NRG/Dark is nice in PvP, provided you dont mind looking like a black ball of fluff.

...with a pretty purple "halo".

I kill steal all the time in Siren's Call... but that only because others do it to me
. Once I've fired off Knockout Blow, to try keeping the opponent from running away (because if they do, I might as well just stop - not being able to do anything to them - apart from Brawl, heh), I usually lack the offensive power to finish off the opponent (squishy or not) - Knockout Blow, Haymaker, Punch, Jab and Brawl can take them down to 25%-ish HP
.

Singularity is the best pet ever
! I've never had one myself, but it's - by far - the coolest of them... closely tied with Spectral Terror
. You just want to hug them

The question you have to ask yourself is this - if I'm tanking for a large team and I suddenly pop phase shift, where will all the aggro go? Nowhere good is the quick answer
[/ QUOTE ]
It's the ultimate Statesman Tanker utility. Taking on S/L minions, and if greater ranked mobs or mobs dealing other damage would happen to be aggroed to him, pop Phase Shift and let the rest of the team deal with it.

[ QUOTE ]
[...] second issue is, since Psi is more or less my achilles heel, will Phase shift protect against this?
[/ QUOTE ]
Phase Shift protects you from all and any incoming damage, being intangible.
Of course, it's only for that limited duration and you can only activate powers affecting yourself while phased - as far as I understand it. -
